^ yes sis, kasi before when i tried to open an investment account sa BDO Bicutan para makapag-subscribe to EIP while ang savings account ko nasa UN Avenue, i remember they required pictures lang and the usual 2 IDs.

Hi sisses  ;D I'm wonderin' lang. Kung sakaling makatagal ako ng 20 years sa pag iinvest sa EIP then after 20 years let's say umabot ng millions yung value ng COPs (upon computation), papayagan ba ng bank na i-claim ko lahat ng COPs ko ng one-time big-time?

^ sis, so far so good naman ang investment ko sa BDO..I chose peso balanced fund..as of yesterday, 9% na ang gain ko..but syempre, may mga fluctuations din for the past days, about 4% [textspeak!] pinakamababa.. :)

^ sis crzysxycl, hindi na talaga masama ang 4% considering na pababa ng pababa ang interest rate for regular savings..
^ sis smm_0411, one time deduction ka ba na 10K or less than 10K? I'm not sure kasi kung papano ang setup nung less than 10K, i mean kung papano makikita 'yung nabili mong units..

by the way, as of yesterday, balik 10% ulet ang kinita ng balanced fund ko..yey!

you can say that...kase bawat pasok mo ng fund sa UITF mo may charge, may service charge, pag nagwithdraw ka may charge din

sa nakikita kong function ng UITF it will convert you into a saver since you will see your money grow, it will not make you rich but it will not sure make you poor, but it also did not maximize your money's potential.

sis, wala naman charge pag-subscribe or redeem ng UITF, or kahit pag-add ng fund. only when you redeem within the holding period of 30 days, except for BDO Peso Money Market Fund (no minimum holding period).

akala mo lang walang charge pero the value we get at the end of the day is already net of charges. where naman kukunin ni bank ang bayad sa fund managers kung hindi sating subscribers icharge?

The way you said it made it sound like a UITF investor would get charged.. on his
investment money which is obviously not true.

sa nakikita kong function ng UITF it will convert you into a saver since you will see your money grow, it will not make you rich but it will not sure make you poor, but it also did not maximize your money's potential.

Interesting point of view you got there and this feels like deja vu hahaha

So investing in UITF is not maximizing your money's potential as opposed to
what?

Clearly, depositing in a savings account is not maximizing your money's
potential when you can invest in a UITF or MF.

Please do tell what investment vehicle gives better returns?

Are you maybe talking about investing directly into the stock market?
