Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen at UP Town Center
- we ordered pizza bianca, shrimp formaggio, and braised short ribs. Food is good, servings just right. The pasta lang was swimming in sauce, mejo not appetizing to look at but the tastes delectable
- staff is really friendly and accomodating

The Girl + The Bull at BF Homes, Parañaque City

Okay, if you want to visit and eat in one of the cutest and most artistic café in the south then The Girl + The Bull should definitely be included in your list. If you're not familiar with the place then it will be a little hard for this resto to find since it was located in a building called NGMi. Reservation is highly encourage cause they can only accommodate 25 to 30 people at a time. My favorite food from their menu would be the Faux Twix, perfect combination of shortbread, caramel, and chocolate. My bf and I love this place a lot. Perfect for a simple, romantic date.

There seems to be a profusion of Pinoy and Pinoy fusion restaurants lately.  This is one of those restos.  Honestly, I wasn't wowed by the food - the lechon crispy pata (crispy pata done a la Cebu lechon style) is interesting but the honey roast pork is a better dish. We also ordered pancit molo which is nothing to rave about and ampalaya salad which I could make at home.  The restaurant is pretty and service is good.

First time ko matry sa Spiral in Sofitel last weekend. So far, this is the best hotel buffet for me. Sofitel > Manila Hotel > Dusit > Heritage.

Sarsa Kitchen + Bar, BGC - really underwhelming, considering that a supposedly sikat chef (Chef JP Anglo) is at the helm. We ordered the gising gising, kare kare, and batchoy. Nothing tasted good. Kare kare was so tough, gising gising meh. The batchoy was also just not good.  My dad, being Ilonggo, was disappointed. The dessert, mango jubilee, was so ordinary. Never again and would not recommend.

^we tried their MOA branch naman, me and hubby liked it. we ordered pancit palabok, sizzling kansi, tuna sisig, and thin sliced liempo. pancit palabok reminded me of Jollibee's. both me and hubby liked the sizzling kansi. my most fave naman is their liempo. malasa siya. overall, food was okay. hubby wanted to go back just to try their other dishes.

^ ^^ we like Sarsa too. Pag kumakain kami dito we always order sizzling kansi, kansi soup, isaw and yung inahaw na manok nila - fave ng kids! Then sa dessert yung piaya ice cream - eto naman ang pinakafave ko. Hehe.

Aww really? Maybe we'll give it another go and order those things you guys mentioned. I heard good things about Sarsa so when we tried it, parang, ngek, what happened? Oh well. Maybe we'll go to a different branch.

^Alam ko masarap din yung Lechon Kawali nila with Tsokolate. And, the branch that we tried pa lang was their BGC branch. Okay naman.

^I find Kanin Club better in terms of food and taste. Maganda lang ambience sa Sarsa BGC and they call the food differently, present it nicely.

^Thanks. Gusto ko kasi Kapitolyo Food Trip on my vacation next month which means na I have to go to Locavore, Café Juanita, 3 Sisters.

Prioritise ko na lang ang Kanin Club maski pilahan ko than Sarsa, Manam and Abe. Gusto ko rin sana subukan Victorino's pero ang layo sa lugar ko.

yesterday we go to a new restaurant near in our office. PASTA CENTRAL. when I Get the menu I was looking for a rice meal pero isa lang yung choice nila for the rice I almost forgot na PASTA nga pala yung specialty nila haha okay naman though onti lang ang serving kasyang kasya lang talaga for 1 person.

Cafe Juanita BCG -
looks quite quirky inside, daming decorations.
food is ok, nothing too spectacular. for a simple dish that was ordered, it was expensive.

Crisostomo Resorts world -
food is ok, nothing stellar about the taste or presentation.
its a small resto, the inside can get a bit crowded.
pricey for dishes I can cook at home.

City buffet at rob galleria- not bad na for 440 per head on weekends.

Morning after nuvali - maasikaso at magalang ang mga staff. Masarap yung salpicao at breakfast bagnet pero nakokontian ako sa serving. O dapat bang tanggapin ko na ganito na lang talaga hitsura ng tig 300+ na pagkain?
