Blackbird at Nielson Tower: Masarap yung mushroon truffle lasagna, fish pie salmon and short ribs

XO Bistro in SM aura. Sobrang aliw yung malalim na tagalog ng waiters and waitresses and the bugtong! Sarap din yung food. We ordered relyenong talong, monngo with daing, gambas, sinigang na salmon, lechon kawali, crispy binagoongan. All were good. Di ko lang type yung panaginip na ube na dessert nila.

Mabilis pa service. And lastly, it's relatively affordable

Had a three day stay in Tagaytay, eto mga restaurants/eatery na natry namin:

Mahogany Market --- eto yung rows of eateries on the 2nd floor of the Mahogany meat market.  Of course, bulalo, is okay.  Though di ko kinain yung bulalo part mismo, masarap yung soup.  We also ordered crispy tawilis (sarap!), crispy crablets, crispy shrimps, lechon kawali, laing. masarap yung tawilis and crablets, the rest normal lang. pero affordable siya.  for all the ulams above, 6 cups of rice and unlimited saging, 1.2k lang so okay na rin.

RSM --- sarap ng boneless bangus!  like ko yung main branch nila with view of the lake.  we ordered a lot din, mga 6 viands, 6 rice, mga 2.4k.  Personally yung bangus lang ang memorable sa kanila

Rose & Grace (batangas) --- bulalo is good, pero sobrang makavetsin, sumakit ang ulo ko after. so di ko na siya babalikan.   mga 2k good for 6, 4 viands, 6 rice.

Chelsea Kitchen in Eastwood - i felt robbed after eating here. Ok lang if their food was really yummy but it was just meh for me. The chicken parmigiana i ordered which the waiter told me is the bestseller is dry and bland. What we ordered: pizza, appetizer,  2 mains and iced tea and we paid P1800+. What irks me is that the sides is not included in the mains! you have to order rice separately at P60+/serving. With a price range of P300-400+ per dish it is only right that there should be some sort of carbs included with your meat.

Backyard Kitchen + Brew in UP Town Center - Exceeded my expectations kasi akala ko inuman lang.  We got the Tuna Ceviche and Salted Egg Chicken Skin for apps, masarap pareho.  Good deal din yung 800g Kitayama Local Wagyu T-bone steak nila for P1,950, may kasama ng mashed potato and gravy.

Jay-J's Inasal at BF Homes

We tried this resto since the ambiance and the look from the outside is really enticing BUT we were very disappointed with their service and food. They were only about 4 tables occupied but the servers are really slow and we have to wait for 30 minutes for our simple order of their inasal. When I got my food, the chicken was not properly cooked and blood was still oozing out of it. Will never eat at this resto again.

I know this place is already like an institution, but we tried it for the first time yesterday okay? Mien San Noodle House in Greenhills was the venue of last night's post-war dinner; Neither of us could stay upset with food that good. Everything was so satisfying. We ordered the xiao long bao, fried kuchay dumplings, century egg & tofu, beef noodle soup with wonton, fried mantou with condensed milk, and coconut juice. All for PHP 900-something. I see myself coming back for more soon!

^ oh yes, masarap sa Mien San! Pata tim din, masarap. di lang sya sosyal tingnan pero deadma na kasi sulit ang food. Late pa nagsasara.

Kulinarya Experience (KXP) at Commerce Ave Alabang

The restaurant is not that big but I love the ambience. My favorite food that we ordered is their steak, tastes really good and I like the sauce too. Not a huge fan of their pork bistek cause it's too salty and their mashed potato. But they have fast service so that's a huge plus for me.

Last week I was in Manila for 5 days in Eastwood area. I liked Kettle, Green Pastures and Recession Cafe. Hindi ko nagustuhan dinner buffet ng Makati Shangrila. Mataas lang expectations ko kasi it is Shangrila but compared to the cheap buffet restaurants I dined in Sydney, konti lang ang difference sa lasa.
