8 cuts burger at moa: quality is good but i find it a bit pricey.

We tried Viking's MOA last weekend so-so lang yung food sa panlasa ko. Ang kaisa-isa na nagustuhan ko lang ay yung salmon sashimi and watermelon juice for husband. Buti na lang we availed the bday promo para atleast isa lang full price yung binayaran namin. Medyo matagal din mag refill ng squid for grilling dun sa seafood section kasi nakatatlong balik si hubby at di man lang sya nakakuha. Wala din shrimp. Meron shrimp pero yung luto na.

Cafe Katsu along Maginhawa... I liked their pork tonkatsu though there's nothing really extraordinary about it.. The side salad that went with the pork tonkatsu is good, hindi nakakaumay and hindi maasim. One thing na naaliw ako was you get to choose the sweetness/saltiness of your tonkatsu sauce. Naaliw ako sa sesame seeds being pounded on that small mortar & pestle container.. Zen-ish ang dating..

Recently ate at Cowrie Grill and we ordered:
Mushroom Risotto - recommended
Caesar Salad - highly recommended
Pesto Pasta - not recommended
Chilean Sea Bass - highly recommended
Tomahawk Ribeye - recommended

Forgot to mention Monalisa in Alabang, we tried it 6 mos ago and again last month. This is by far the yummiest italian resto eversince nahilig ako sa mga italian food. Authentic talaga, walang sinabi ang Itallianis.

We're quite disappointed
Place is too small and dark
Maiingay yung staff
Meat is not tender (bubble gum talaga!)
Mashed Potato is dry

^^oh yes! monalisa is good! peg ko yung pizza (panizza-like) with arugula and sprouts, parang Dear Darla lang ang peg.. sarap!

Yes mga sis apir! Ako naman super bet ko and ng family yung pasta na grilled salicia something. Medjo bitin nga yung isang large serving ang sarap kasi kakaiba eh. And I agree din sa pizza. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na meron na pala sa Aura nice!

^fave ko din Monalisa! my husband likes their chili flakes sarap daw sa panizza! and I like the spread in their complimentary bread.

^oh true! perfect talaga with chili flakes... may nakita pa akong deal sa Dealgrocer ng Monalisa the other day, hmmmm ma-check nga ulit baka meron pa

Hot Star Large Fried Chicken. Tried this for lunch yesterday. For the size of the chicken, I can say na sulit na yung 145 na binayaran ko (large chicken slab, rice, and regular softdrink). The chicken slab/piece was large enough that if average eater or average lang yung gutom, pwede na sa dalawang tao (order na lang bale ng extra rice). Their gravy was ok lang (typical gravy). Yung timpla ng chicken was also ok for me.

ramen nagi moa, serving was huge you get what you paid for aksi medyo pricey, was not that impressed with the butao ramen though, soup was flavorful but a bit umay factor..

I thought ako Lang naman experienced ng umay factor sa butao. Sa totoo Lang okay naman kaso nakakaumay Masyado mamantika. Tapos ewan ko Kung naexperienced nyo din yun parang di Masyado hot yun ramen. Last try ko sa ramen nagi up town.

Back to the topic: sa may likod ng sm north may masarap na kainan along pag-Asa. Small Lang sya pero masarap.

^same observation as my husband. He said no doubt they have the best noodles. he prefers this over ippudo. But he likes ippudo' broth better than ramen nagi

Rediscovery: Kamayan (Dad's dinner buffet)

May inililibot kami na balikbayan kaya mga pinupuntahan namin yun mga napuntahan nya years ago pa. Masarap pa rin pala sa Kamayan sa dami ng nakahanda parang halos lahat masarap. Mas nag enjoy yun mga bisita namin dito kaysa sa La Fiesta (last week doon kasi namin dinala).

Magkakatabi yun makasalan na crispy pata, lechon, lechon de leche at lechon kawali ito mga inuna nila na kainin. Masarap raw ang crispy pata at lechon de leche.

Yung garlic tilapia at grilled salmon naman ang nagustuhan ng anak ko.

Pinakbet at buko pandan yun nagustuhan ko, masarap rin yun yakitori nila atbp sa japanese food section.

Yun branch sa may EDSA ang pinuntahan namin the other night para kumpleto sa pagbalik alala ng mga oldies

Nung umuwi kami last June, we tried Romulo Cafe sa may Bel Air. Nasarapan ako sa chicharon, pinoy nachos, pomelo salad and bagnet pakbet nila. Yung ibang order, hindi ko na natry kase super busog na pero sabi naman ng mga kasama ko masasarap daw.

Xin Tian Di Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria: So far yung mga na-order namin which was mostly dimsum was just okay if you compare it to Summer Palace ng Edsa Shangri-La. But masarap yung apple carrot juice nila.
