In Cebu, I really love Carnivore. Every dish is delish! I love their Australian Lamb Shank.

Ippudo. Sarap nung pork bun and gyoza. Ok lang ang ramen, dinnaman kasi ako masyado mahilig dun so wala pa ako maicompare. But pork bun is good, 100 pesos lang hehe

Just got back from Baguio and we tried restos na di pa namin nakainan before.

This time, we tried:
Little John's sa Mile-Hi Center in Camp John Hay
 - sarap pala ng beef tapa nila. the clam chowder was so-so, mas gusto ko pa yung sa S&R. Spareribs was good din. First time to eat here kahit antagal na nito, hehe..

Cafe Yagam - near Hotel Elizabeth
 - nice ambiance, artsy cafe. Konti lang menu choices. Hubby & I tried their Cordilleran dishes, yung mga kasama namin ordered "safe" food, sandwich and burger - masarap naman daw yung sandwich and burger, LOL. Pinikpikan was pwede na, though I tasted better sa Banaue. Hubby loved their Pinuneg (blood sausage). I loved their Binungor (spicy veggies). Kiniwar for dessert was so-so. Coffee is good.

Rancho Norte (Ketchup Food Community)
 - we're supposed to eat at Canto pero haba pa din pila at 2pm. So we decided to eat at Rancho instead. Sarap ng crispy sisig (mala bagnet sisig) and pinakbet with bagnet. Sinigang was so-so.

Cafe by the Ruins Dua (Upper Session Road)
 - bagong branch ng Cafe by the Ruins. More spacious, and maliwanag sa loob. Masarap pa din ang food nila. Freshly-baked camote bread (sarap ng kesong puti with the bread), bagnet & kinunot. Yung fried chicken though, dahil malaki ang piece, me part sa me gitna na hilaw. So pinaluto pa namin ulit. Chopsuey was so-so.

Amare La Cucina (inside Hotel Albergo, near Wright Park, lampas lang konti ng Ketchup Food Community)
 - woodfire brick oven pizza & woodfire ribs are good. Pizza - generous toppings, thin crispy crust. Ribs - tender and tasty. Carbonara is near authentic (sauce made with egg, not the usual Pinoy "carbonara" na creamy/milky pasta lang).

The Porch in anonas extension near maginhawa.
Comfort american food. Ambience is very homey - they have books you can browse and read while waiting for your order, food is yummy and price is fair... hubby and i love going here when we're in the area... tried their watermelon salad, southwest pasta, and chicken fingers.. hubby also says the steak and ribs are good (i wouldn't know because i don't eat pork and beef but hubby's testimony is more than enough) :)
also, they have their own parking lot so parking would not be a problem :)

Tambai- they open around 5pm til late night. They serve yakitori sticks (pork, beef, isaw, liver, gizzard, bacon and quail egg, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and garlic) starting at P40. I liked the pork, beef rib finger and chicken liver. Kinda pricey though coz the sticks were small. The bigger sticks are at P150+ each. You can also get the platter for sharing. Best paired with beer. Skip the kimchi rice.

Place is really small. Looks like they converted a sari sari store to a resto. Tables are right beside the street.

Chuck's Grub in Trinoma (food choices).. having tried fish and chips before in some other restos, na-curious ako how their fish (dory) and chips fared. we ordered the 4 pcs fish (dory) and chips (fries). talab naman yung timpla ng fish, di naman dry, di rin malansa, kaya lang super oily. the fries were ok lang. parang medyo naging soggy since na-absorb nya yung oil from the fish. ok lang kasi medyo malaki yung cut ng fish nila. kung hindi lang malaki yung fish slabs, i would really consider na hindi reasonable yung 230.00 na price.

Cafe Lidia at Calderon Street Marikina City
Loving their Chicken Kiev (salad on the side plus you can choose mashed potato or rice)
Their pizza is okay. Mukhang marami may gusto kasi madami bumibili and its cheap lang.
Their steak is so malitid. Wasn't able to enjoy it.

if you are familiar or living in Greenwoods Exec Village in Pasig, there's a small Japanese Resto there called Jitaku, masarap naman siya and very affordable. If i am craving for Ebi and vegetables tempura or salmon sashimi, go lang kami dun. It's like a garage or extra space turned restaurant.

Silantro [textspeak!]-mex Cantina in Kapitolyo, Pasig - Sa tatlong beses na punta ko dito lagi ako nabibigo. Hindi nawawalan ng pila! I've been wanting to try this place kaso sobrang haba talaga ng waiting. Nakakagigil!

Wholesome Table, BGC - I don't expect organic meals to be really flavorful, but the dinner I had here was just so unremarkable I didn't even bother remembering the names of the dishes. They were so bland, plus they were so pricey. I left feeling robbed as I hate paying for expensive food na hindi ako natuwa. Bland + pricey = a frustrating dining experience. Its one saving grace was the beautiful interior. Just goes to show that Instagram worthy places and food don't always live up to the hype.

Ikkoryu Fukouka - flavorful ramen, but I liked Ippudo and Hokkaido Ramen Santouka better.

^true about Wholesome Table. Quite disappointed with the entree I ordered. For farm-to-table concept, I prefer Green Pastures.

Two thumbs up sa Ramen Nag!  first tried it in Japan tapos I found out meron na pala dito.  di talaga ko mahilig sa Ramen but this one's so tasty, hinahanap hanap ko talaga sya. My husband and I ate here last week tapos nagcrave kami uli so we went again kanina. Noodles are so tasty, plus yung soup - tamang timpla (we opted for chef's reco. Sakto alat amd anghang. Sarap din Chix karaage and spring rolls. Super attentive the wait staff, bilis ng service. Di ko lang maintindihan why they have the no take out policy...

I read somewhere it's because they don't want to compromise the quality of the broth.  Na baka di na masarapan yung customer kung, say, hours after inorder pa nya kakainin.
