wanchai in binondo - sobrang sobrang sulit nung deal sa ensogo they got going now. boyfie and i were eating and were already discussing about buying another set of those vouchers and pinaplano na namin ano kakainin namin next time. we got overwhelmed eh nabusog na kami agad. haha. and the staff is decent and good enough though i've seen better ones.

We tried this for the first time yesterday because of the recent raves here, haha! In fairness, we really liked most of the dishes (i.e., wonton soup, fried noodles, beef w/ ampalaya, and especially the hakaw!).

The only thing i didn't like was the prawn w/ cashews - the prawns were really fresh and plump, but the dish itself was too dry, needed just a bit of sauce i guess (IMO).

Kichitora:

Surprisingly, i loved the paitan ramen! Usually, i prefer pork broth than chicken broth, but Kichitora's chicken broth was pretty good! And the serving was HUGE, i was so shocked! I didn't expect it to be that huge and i was dining alone so i wasn't able to finish it.

I also loved the gyoza!  didn't like the tamago though (Yushoken has much better tamago).

Hanamaruken Ramen in Trinoma.. medyo pricey yung Happiness Ramen nila (at 480/bowl).. But in fairness, super flavorful nung soup, and the huge chunk of meat was really tender.. Kahit chopsticks ang gamit, pwede mahiwalay yung meat from the "litid"... I had to use the word chunk kasi hindi lang meat slices eh, as in 1 slab of meat on the big bowl of soup and noodles... In terms of flavor and sarap factor, ok yun Hanamaruken Ramen.. Parang overpriced lang at 480.. pero kung 2 kayong kakain na hindi naman gutom na gutom (like kami ng bf ko na nag kanya kanyang order.. hahaha!), sulit na rin...

Asya Filipino-Asian Restaurant in Eton Centris, Quezon City. Maganda ambiance and masarap ang food! You should try sinigang na corned beef and Tempura Suman for dessert.

Ramen Nagi in MOA, keri lang. Their classic butao king is okay, pero medyo salty for my taste, though you can modify the saltiness naman. I like that it's a little spicy though. Yun red king, the spicy one, is overly spicy. As in. Haha! Gyoza is okay.

^level 1 lang yung spicy level na tinry ni fiance grabe hindi nya maubos sobrang anghang daw hehe

^sobrang anghang kase talaga, haha, si bf ginawa nya pa level 6 yung spice. Di nya rin naubos! Ichura nya pa lang intimidating na haha

Yumi (Century City Mall, Makati):

- hamachi sashimi (this was DIVINE!!)
- shime saba sashimi (a little too salty for me)
- symphony (its appearance was a little offputting and the flavors were a little too complex for my taste)
- unagi foie gras sushi (good one)

Overall, the hamachi sashimi alone is enough to make me come back. besides, they have an interesting menu so i still wanna try a lot of their dishes.

Recently tried these resto for the first time:

Movie Stars Café - ok sya for kids because of the characters in costume, but the food is just so/so. We tried ala carte though so no comment on their buffet spread.

Slappy Cakes - ok din sya for the kids, the batter/pancake tastes good. OK din yung meals nila, I had pesto pasta pero nothing really special, hindi tipong babalik balikan Medyo mahal din.

Magnum Café - We just tried the desserts! I love the redvelvet and the cookie dough skillet.

Between Bag O shrimps and Shrimp bucket - I like the first one better. Mas malasa yung shrimp flavors plus you can add sausages and corn. Yummy!! You can eat pa na nakakamay lang so feel na feel

Huat pot in wilson - i like the ambience of the place and the food is delicious.  The lamb is amazing and yung ibang mga "balls" are aalso good.  I'd even dare say na they use top quality ingredients.  Waiters are attentive. Sarap nung taho.  Unlimited drinks (beer included)  and omg unlimited magnum ice cream!  Definitely worth a next round! And also despite stuffing ourselves silly i think it's still relatively healthier kasi hot pot siya.

^ we also love Huat Pot! Di super dami ng selection, pero good quality naman. Ok nga yung mga balls nila, hehe.. and the meat din. Naaliw nga ako lately me nadagdag na sa dessert nila, me maja blanca and mango float na. Hehe..

I also like na madalang napupuno ang lugar so hindi masikip. And yes, mababait nga ang waiters.

^ yes sis. and yung kasama ko knows what good lamb is and he said the lamb was good daw in hotpot. hahaha.

though sis! haha! sana nga mas dumami yung customers nila kasi baka naman magsara sila.

^^ naisip nga namin yan ni husband nung first time namin kumain. Kasi ba naman, Friday night, kaming 2 lang ang customers! Kaya the following week, nag-aya kami ng family ni hubby for Sunday lunch, ayun 12 na agad kami. Then me 1 or 2 small families pa din na dumating. Nung other time naman, 4 adults lang kami. Yung 2, si Andrea Del Rosario and husband nya. Last week kumain kami, me malaking family na andun, mga 20pax sila. Then me several couples. So we're hoping na medyo nagpi-pickup na sila.

^ kaya nga sis! anlaki ang spacious pa naman ng lugar nila. plus the cr is clean din! so sayang naman. mga 6 kami andun ni boylet last night and so i thought maybe we're just early. tapos dumating ang 7, 8 pm konti palang. parang less than 10 lang kami andun plus may mga vouchers pa ata karamihan. to think na it's christmas season and daming nagdine out ngayon. naku dapat talaga bumalik kami if just to help them. tapos puro mga lamb, beef, at shrimp lang kainin namin lol.

Chop House TriNoMa -- great food, excellent service. Ito 'yung kinainan namin ni BF nung unang sahod namin hahahaha.

Hanamaruken TriNoMa -- great service, so-so food. I've tasted better Japanese cuisine at a cheaper price but I love how warm their staff is. Their restroom can be improved, though. Ang sikip kasi.

Sizzling Pepper Steak, TriNoMa ('yung fine dining stall talaga, not the one in the food court) -- great food, excellent service, very affordable! Me and my bf's favorite place!

Teriyaki Boy TriNoMa -- excellent food, so-so service. Their Philly Cheese Steak Roll is to die-for. It took some time for our food to be served, though. But their staff is polite naman.

Pho Hoa Rob Magnolia -- excellent food, so-so service. Same feedback as Teriyaki Boy Trino. Took some time for our food to be served.

Mesa Restaurant Rob Magnolia -- super good food! Their sisig is one of the best I've tasted so far. Our server is also polite but kwela.

Giligans MOA -- good food sana. BUT. Dios mio! Napaka-tagal i-serve ng food! Staff is not that polite din, they have the tendency to pretend they didn't see you wave at them We ordered extra rice kasi nabitin kami, and it took 30 minutes for it to be served. I like their sisig pa naman. But kung ganun ang klase ng service, I'd rather go to Mang Inasal and order their sisig.

I finally was able to try Tim Ho Wan because there was no queue! Hahaha! I'm not the type kasi na magtiya-tiyagang pumila ng mahaba para lang kumain, hehe.

It was 11pm when i went there and Glorietta closed at midnight today so wala nang masyadong tao at 11pm. The pork buns were really good, in fairness. it's not something i'd queue for, pero good enough na balikan if may chance.

But their prawn dumpling SUCKS, hahaha! I've had much better prawn dumplings elsewhere.

7 Corners- a friend celebrated her bday and treated us to buffet here. It was surprisingly good! Loved the steak and the shrimps. You can also enjoy a variety of sushi and sashimis from the Japanese station. They lack variety on desserts though. They only have ice cream and mini cakes.

Wang fu chinese bistro in tomas morAto: yummy food and efficient service. I love the ambiance too.
