The Food Club - not worth it, andaming tao, tagal mag refill ng food, walang available na baso sa lalagyan, mabagal mag serve ang mga waiter.... At madaming insekto sa ilalim ng seats.... epic fail.

Osaka Ohsho

Crab Cream Croquettes - the best dish/appetizer we ordered. Sulit ang php 225 for 2 pcs

Gyozas - we ordered both the original and the cheese. We liked the original better. Even my 6yo daughter said the cheese "tastes weird" and this comes from someone who eats any cheese (even blue cheese).  Better eat too while it's hot cause it's not that good anymore when cold.

Black Vinegar Chicken - another one of the best dishes we ordered. I like the sweet sour taste of this.

Fuwatoro Tenshin Han - rice topped with fluffy omelette with Chinese gravy. one of their best sellers. It's good naman but not something na babalik-balikan. Personally, the serving is more than enough for two people. Feeling ko tumaas bp ko after consuming all those eggs.

Kids Tempura meal - my daughter loved it

Mango Yakult - such a refreshing drink. Just the right sweetness

^we have a Bono Tei branch is Betterliving Pque din sis, kaso yung one time na kumain kami dun last December sawing-sawi kami.  malamyang tempura, and parang di nadefrost ng maayos ang sashimi nila, higit sa lahat ampangit ng service kaya never na kaming umulit.  Sa Better ka ba nagtry sis or yung BF (?) branch nila?

Sinong nakatry na ng 8 Cuts Burger? napanood ko lang to sa kristv. Okay ba talaga?

Step1: choose your beef patty blend (5choices)
Step2: choose a burger (9 choices) or create your own (basic Boss Burger tas add toppings)

they also serve french fries, onion rings, starters, salad, shakes

ambience is nice. altho quite mainit

di naman. medyo mabagal nga lang ang pila, kasi lahat kami, hindi marunong umorder so we had to ask the cashier a lot of stuff. ang dami kasing choices kaya hindi sanay umorder. hehe. medyo pricey altho satisfied naman ako sa taste ng burger

yes sis dun sa  BF, but everything was fresh naman, service was also good nung pumunta kami, gusto ko nga bumalik dun soon for that chef specialty roll alone
best pa rin for me kamameshi house for tempura and tori rice when it comes to japanese restaurants

^ Ah!  Ayun yata yung first branch nila ang okay nga daw dun.  Sad lang na yung sa Better ampangit, siguro dahil wala pa silang six months in operation nung nagpunta kami.  Hopefully umayos na sila ngayon.  Will try the Bono Tei BF nga rin when I come homes Thank you!

^Speaking of Bono Tei, they have an ongoing special, buy 1 take 1 on tempura and gyoza from 11AM to 3PM Monday-Friday. I guess mahina during lunch hour on weekdays kaya sila nag promo.

Going back to the topic, sorry late bloomer kame ni Hubby but our latest resto discovery is Cyma, hehe We had the Roka Salata, Baby Clams in Angel Hair pasta and the Spinach & Artichoke fondue. Yummmyyy! We were able to try dining in Cyma before pero not sure what we ordered, hindi namin nagustuhan so never na kameng bumalik; napag usapan lang namin sa barkada lately and they recommended we order these dishes.

Pink Panda Southeast Asian Diner

The dishes are not 100% authentic (it's more likely Southeast Asian fusion, I think) but delicious nonetheless. For example, the crispy catfish salad came with ripe mango and pomelo rather than green mango. I especially like the crispy squid, VC rolls and dimsum (although the dimsum wrapper hardened a bit after a while).  The buchi with chocolate sauce and the one with peanut butter have interesting flavors.  The deconstructed halo-halo (it is listed in the menu as mix-mix) is also quite different.

I want to try the other dishes but since the location is a bit out of the way and curbside parking can be tricky, I may not be able to return to this restaurant soon.

well this is not a new restaurant more on new food discovery. since nag labas ng bagong menu yung tgi fridays we tried the texmex pork bbq tacos yung dish it was really good kala ko nung una parang appetizer lang siya pero nakakabusog pala and it taste good.

We just tried CaliBurger the other day and it's so-so lang for me, nothing wow super expensive pa. They're comparing it to In N Out burger in the US but it's very far, IMO.

Woo Galbi, east wing Shangri-La mall

Good Korean food, but overpriced in my opinion. My husband ordered Jjampong, which he felt lacked spiciness. I got the beef bulgogi, which was flavorful enough, but nothing extraordinary. I think you pay more for the ambience and the experience (my bulgogi was served on a table top stove) than the actual food.

Ba Noi's in UP Town Center. I was never a fan of Vietnamese food until my friends and I tried this resto last weekend. we ordered Suon Nong [textspeak!] (fried pork riblets) and Ga Nuong (grilled chicken). di sya ganun ka-spicy and the meat was tender. talab din yung marinade nila. my friends also tried their Sugarcane Juice with Lemon, and masarap din daw.

Ryu Ramen and Curry sa UP Town Center. Sarap ng food! Especially their ramen, tempura and iced tea!
It's quite expensive pero super sulit! I think everything there is delicious! I've tried the tantanmen, ryu ramen, karaage(chicken), tempura and tamanegi (deep fried veggies and squid). The shrimp tempura are HUGE and really delicious!!! The ambience is also really nice. They have a ramen bar where you can watch the cooks prepare the food. Highly recommended!

The Porch by Casa Verde

It's a great place for families and groups.  Servings are huge and prices are very reasonable.  For a huge slab of ribs and a platter of seafood, the bill amounted to less than Php600.  My husband and I like our ribs though there are some parts that are not as tender as we hoped.  The sauce is not too sweet, tamang-tama lang.  We love the mashed potatoes using real potatoes (we requested for this instead of the rice that came with the ribs).  The tartar sauce for the seafood platter tastes good too.

I also like the fact that it's not in a mall.

matgalne ortigas - i didn't like it that the pork was cut thicker thus takes forever to grill and one of the waiter keeps on insisting na we avail the pork+beef option. i think at first he even decided on his own that we'll get the pork+beef, thank the heavens i approached him again and confirmed na we'll just have pork. and they have a policy na if one of the people in group will get pork+beef, then all most be the same then. not like that in donday, we got away with just 2 beef+pork dati (which all of us shared) and mga 4 porks.
