Ristras Mexican Grill

I had the chili con carne tacos (soft) last night. An order has three huge tacos!  I loved it.  Will go back to try the burrito, enchilada, quesadilla and flautas.

Had brunch with girlfriends at Early Bird Breakfast Club. I got Viva Longganisa, and I found it really flavorful, just the right hint of sweetness. My fiance got Full English Breakfast, which he also liked. The bacon wasn't crispy, but I think that's not really how the bacon's cooked in English breakfasts. My friends also liked their fritatas and grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese sandwich had gruyere, mozarella and cheddar and it was really good.

For dessert, I ordered French toast with Nutella and banana. I was surprised by how small they were, 3 small, puto-sized pieces lang, but they were filling, and not too nakakaumay.

I thought the prices were a bit too steep (P350 for longganisa!) but my fiance said sulit naman the presyo for the amount of servings.

Overall I'd recommend this place

Dined at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka (Glorietta) yesterday and we really enjoyed the ramen. I got the Premium pork cheek shiyo ramen. The pork cheeks were tender and the broth, though light and creamy, was still so flavorful. My fiance got the bento box, and while he enjoyed his ramen, he thought the gyoza lacked something. The gyoza was also missing when it was first served. My fiance had to ask if kasama ba yung gyoza and only did the waitress realize nakalimutan iserve yung gyoza. Haha. Oh well. We still recommend this place though, but we'll try out Ikkoryu at Shang next, just to compare

Caruso Ristorante - this has been in our (my husband & I) list of must try resto because of the good reviews

Finally got to try it a few Saturdays back.  We're a bit disappointed.  Me, because of the stinky cigarette smoke smell that greets you upon entering the resto.  malapit kasi sa door yung smoking area....

the food, loved the complimentary bread! 

ordered lasagna and pizza margherita.  both just so so.....

still willing to give it another chance.  baka mali lang na-order namin....

Dined in project pie this afternoon.. great experience, hindi gaano mahaba ang pila unlike sa experience ng iba at nakaupo agad kami.. malinis ang place at maaliwalas.. for the pizza, i ordered no.6 (grilled chicken, sliced red onion, cilantro, mozarella, gorgonzola and bbq sauce) then nagdagdag ako ng pepperoni, ham, prosciutto, green bell peppers, jalapeno, mushroom, pineapple and basil).. i love my own creation.. balance lang, hindi gaano kaalat dahil sa bbq sauce at pineapples.. kahit 9" lang ang pizza, sobrang busog ko after dahil sa daming toppings.. hindi na namin tuloy natry ang banana nutella pie..

Hubby and I had lunch at Mom and Tina's Bakery Cafe in Sgt Esguerra Qc today. I saw it on Kris Tv kasi and naenganyo talaga ako. We looooove everything about the resto!  The ambiance is very homey, food is great and service is excellent! Here's what we had. :
Bacon and squash soup - i'm not fond of eating squash but because i was craving for some soup, i gave it a try and i'm glad i did! It's yummy! Parang may cheese ata siyang halo. Sarap 
Chicken and mushroom pie- very filling and flavorful. 
Chicken spinach lasagna - this is my fave. Super cheesy and yummy. 
Chuck's steak with fries and veggies - we had it almost well done. The meat is so tender. Very flavorful din and the gravy blends perfectly with the steak. 
White toblerone walnut torte - so so lang ito. I was expecting something better. 
Blueberry cheesecake - this is my fave! Yummy 
Mango cream pie - hubby's fave.  yummy din siya 
Their prices are reasonable too! I wanted to buy some more cupcAkes and cheesecakes pa sana kaso super busog na kami. Next time ulit.

yesterday was the first time i tried Conti's. i know, right? it's been a buzz for so long, but i just tried it. and we loved it! their food was cooked well and very flavorful. i loved the Baked Salmon and the Barbecue Spare Ribs. i loved the mashed potato that came with my Roast Beef with Mushroom Sauce, but the roast beef itself was just okay. my dad and brother liked the Grilled Porkchop, but for me, not so much, hehe. overall, it was a great dining experience.

I tried Maple at Shang Mall and wow, this place is THE place for comfort food!

We ordered the huervos rancheros and the savory pancake dish that was two pancakes sandwiching canadian bacon, cheddar, topped with hollandaise sauce, maple bacon and a fried egg. Both dishes were delicious!

My daughter had the fish and chips and she enjoyed it too.

Casa Verde from Cebu is now open at UP Town Center. Good sized ribs at an affordable price. Yun nga lang matagal ang wait pag weekends. Try to go there weekdays/lunch time

had dinner last night with a friend at faburitto in eastwood. I had the corn soup, steak burrito and mint iced tea (Php350) and my friend had the soft tacos, quesadillas, fruit bowl and fruit iced tea (Php420). we both found the food a bit bland and overpriced BUT because there weren't really other people in the resto, the staff was super helpful, super attentive and quite generous. they gave me a couple of extra salsas and sauces to try with my buritto. I think it kinda made up for the lackluster food. so my rating: PWEDE NA.

tried pepperlunch and nasarapan kami ni hubby, kahit mainit at napapaso kami eh go sa pagkain kasi masarap i tried beef teriyaki while hubby tried yung burger (basta yung number 10).. kaya ayun, target namin ni hubby isa-isahin para ma-try lahat..
