Abe Restaurant in Moa: we love the food there! Sister company pala ito ng cafe adriatico amd fely j's. we ordered laing with tinapa, pastel de lengua and pork binagoongan. Yummy

Finally tried Maple, at the new wing of Shang. I liked my Maple Big Breakfast, which consists of two big waffles, 2 eggs, 2 sausages and 2 strips of bacon. Pinakamasarap on the plate were the sausages But the others were good too. The bacon was sweet, parang covered with maple syrup and I liked it. The waffles were not so moist but I liked it naman overall. My mom though, didn't like her french toast too much.

Modern shanghai, hindi nagustuhan ng husband ko ang food. Sa akin, ok lang naman hindi lang ako babalik agad. Sakto lang waiting time sa paglabas ng food kaso paglapag sa mesa malamig ang pagkain kaya negative agad reaction ng mister ko.

Noong nagpour ng drinks namin yun wait staff e (sorry sa term) ang baboy. Yun talaga naisip ko kasi nakakadiri na nagkakandatapon-tapon at nakasabit pa ang bula nun drinks sa glass. Gross lang. So yun sa isang glass ako uminom, sarap pa naman nun ginger ale kaso ayun nga kadiri.

Yung shredded chicken nila best seller raw, nagustuhan naman ng anak ko.

Ang string beans with minced meat #50 sa menu nasobrahan sa luto medyo sunog. Ito sana pinakamasarap sa inorder namin kaso ang itim2x

Yangchow fried rice, masarap naman lalo na sana if mainit nun sinerve

XLB, masarap yun loob/meatball makapal lang ang wrapper.

Hindi kami happy sa food pero mababait mga tao na nagserve kaya d uminit ulo ko.

the takoyakis are yummy, as well as the milktea drinks.
a bit costly nga lang the takoyaki since its 4pcs for 105-125 but its huge and hindi tipid sa fillings
my fave is the regular octopus takoyaki.. we've tasted the double cheese takoyaki and squid satay takoyaki. squid is good but my daughter loves the cheese

i love the taro milktea with rice balls.. the rice balls are the "balls" that we use in ginataan.. sarap!
daughter had the cheese milktea.. blended yun cheese nya, not on top lang.. similar to happy lemon but cheesier
drinks are reasonably priced at 85-110 for large cups

- Fodd was great but a little pricey though. They said that it's VP Binay's favorite restaurant daw in Makati. The place looks like an old chinese restaurant.

Sumosam Olympia
The restaurant chain is not new but the branch is fairly new (a year old?).  Unlimited sushi and tempura for only P499 is their winning quality but service is bad.

Modern Shanghai in Glorietta 2

Sarap ng XLB nila! even the Yang chow rice ang sarap! tapos yung parang adobo (forgot the name) pork with squid. super tender ng pork, melts in your mouth!

and we surprised sa ganda ng ambience, hindi ganon kamahal yung food.

^ay nalito ako nauna pa ang post ko, ito kasi na post yun nabasa ko nun weekend kaya i tried modern shanghai.

Anyway, nagtry kami sa (d ko maremember name may camille sa dulo) vietnamese restaurant beside classic confection in GB5. Masarap yun spring roll, fried rice at yun coffee nila. Yung pho d ko natikman pero ok naman raw sabi ni BIL. Yung grilled chops masarap raw sabi ng iba na kasama namin.

Naiintriga ako sa Modern Shanghai! Read about it this morning din sa Inquirer. Masarap daw yung dish with shrimps. Will try that next!

nagtakeout kami sa shrimp bucket one time

dined at modern shanghai twice in a span of one week. the first time (june 6), wala masyadong tao kaya mabilis lang na-serve ang food. sarap na sarap kami ng husband ko sa fried rice with garlic nila, naka-dalawang order kami (3 adults and 1 kid). masarap din yung sliced beef with scallions tsaka yung river shrimps with spring onions. better ang xiao long bao dito kesa sa lugang café, pero mas konti yung serving.

sobrang natuwa kami sa food kaya bumalik kami nung june 12, eh holiday kaya maraming tao. uminit ang ulo ng husband ko dahil sobrang tagal mag-serve ng food at mali-mali pa. yung order kong drink na pink perfection hindi dumating. uulit pa kaming kumain doon pero dapat pag wala masyadong kumakain.

tried maple in shangri-la plaza today. prices are rather steep, but the servings are hefty, great for sharing. we had the caesar salad, eggs benedict, spaetzle jambalaya, huevos rancheros and the apple pie with streussel topping a la mode. food's really tasty, except for the caesar salad (kulang sa dressing even when i asked for extra; the caesar dressing wasn't rich and creamy unlike in other restaurants). service was satisfactory.

Saboten- second time namin and pansin ko ang bagal nila kahapon. Tagal i-serve even the cabbage sana while waiting for the main dishes. Mabait yung supervisor nila na girl.
