magsagupaan uli ang Ateneo at Adamson sa 1st game, National U. vs Perpetual sa 2nd game.

masaya to, 12 teams ang maglalaban. may from Cebu, Davao at Baguio.


as for Gorayeb... sadyang batang Baste yan mula't sapul. binili nya na nga ata ang championship trophy ng NCAA women's volleyball eh.
to quote him talking to a friend, "alam mo XXXXX, kahit balatan mo ako, PULA pa rin ang dugo ko". (referring to Baste's color as against Ateneo's blue)
yung pag coach nya sa Ateneo, raket nya lang yon.
(just can't confirm if it has something to do with her "pretty" daughters' full scholarship sa Ateneo) kaya nag full-time coach sya some 3 years ago.  kaya ayun, nabuo ang fab-five, at sa wakas nakakapasok sa finals ang Ateneo.
as for Baste naman, ayun, naagaw na ng Perpetual ang corona ng NCAA for 3yrs.

Kenkoy rin kaya si Roger outside the court. as compared sa ibang coaches ng women's V.ball. napasayaw nga nila sa music video nila na "call me maybe" nun. yun nga lang, ibang klase talaga si Tai, sya pa lang nakita kong coach na "maraming fans"

i really thought na ang positive outlook and aura ni coach 'Tai' ang nag motivate sa Lady Eagles.. mas masarap maglaro pag ganun nakikita mo..

I think that Coach Tai is a good motivator. Iba kasi magmotivate ng girls, iba rin sa guys, for some coaches/trainers, it comes naturally. Maybe it's also the reason why coach Tai is the coach of the girl's vball team kasi he's not the type na super pressure given that the girls are young so mas may emphasis na they should enjoy the sport while honing their skills. What piques my interest is how he conducts his training sessions, kasi sa court it seems na he can barely gets his message across but in the end, the Lady eagles deliver.

On the other hand, maybe that's the secret . Here's Alyssa's subtle dig at Gorayeb:

the game between National U and UST yesterday was great. inabot ng 5th set. hirap ang Bullbitches talunin ang Tigresses. 
magaling ang bagong recruit ng Uste na si Laure.

the second game was a blast! wooooh! sulit na sulit ang gasto at hindi nasayang ang oras ko.
natalo ang UAAP Champion ng NCAA Runner-up.

pahamak kasi tong mga radio/TV stations eh. fully-booked mga Lady Eagles.

I didn't know that Mina Aganon graduated na din along with Dindin. Recently ko lang nalaman nung nagbasa ako ng results for the Super Liga's Draft.
