Hi mga sis!i just wonder kung meron fellow GT na fanatic or naging fanatic ng volleyball ng dahil sa uaap katulad ko..wala akong mahanap na thread kaya i started it..

sino fave niung player and team?
mine is si mika reyes of la salle lady spikers
kay hubby daw si allyssa valdez of lady eagles..

I just saw this thread now. I watched the games and ang gagaling nila, ang dami pang magaganda. Bawat team, may favorite akong player/players. Though I like Ateneo, i must say na malakas talaga DLSU. Hands down ako kay Valdez. From the other teams, I like Ara Galang and Bebs Pineda.

Me and my girls are solid DLSU Lady Spikers fans hehe. If I have spare time, I watch the game with them. I personal favorites are Mika Reyes, Michelle Gumabao, Abi Marano, and Ara Galang. Hands down din ako sa Ateneo, my favorites are Alyssa Valdez and Gretchen Ho.

actually ako rin, i've got my own favorites sa bawat team..pero pag all time favorite, si mika reyes na yun..!ewan ko ba!sabi ko nga kay hubby parang naiinlove na ako kay mika,!haha!sayang lang I can't watch them live kasi I have a 4 months old baby, mahirap naman isama si baby para lang manuod ng volleyball di ba..baka matamaan pa kami..

anyway, ok naman tv coverage ng studio 23, yun nga lang, yung shakey's v-league ngayon di ko maenjoy!kasi naman ang pangit ng tv coverage ng newstv 11!putol-putol!kainis lang manuod!hmp!

Sad lang I wasn't able to watch V League kasi nasa work ako nun. Di maka watch ng live UAAP games kasi hindi swak sa sched. Kaya Tv nalang.

This year lang ako nagstart manood ng volleyball, through the V-League. Nakakatuwa pala manood! Ngayon gusto ko na subaybayan ang UAAP volleyball.

Hi I'm a volleyball fanatic too.  Eversince i was a kid.
My favorite UAAP player is Mika Reyes of DLSU. She has a charm that men would love and even girls.. Lakas ng dating niya lalu na pag naglalaro siya and she has skills also the best middle attacker for me.  tahaha

"certified" balibol fanatic here. not just UAAP. lahat na ng liga ng balibol... WOMEN's Volleyball lang ha?

dati, wala akong kahilig-hilig sa larong eto. last time ko tumutok manood (sa tv) was nung dito ginanap ang world women's volleyball... crush ko nun si Leila Barros

it was only three years ago when i saw a game live at San Juan Arena. hindi ko makalimutan ang ang larong yon, Shakey's V-League, it was ARMY vs ATENEO.
napa... syeeeeeeet! talaga ako. asking myself why  "ngayon" ko lang napanood ang game na to?
i was mesmerized by the beauty of the players. syempre, it was DAQUIZ who caught my attention first. then there was FILLE...GRETCHEN...DZI... DEN-DEN ng Ateneo.

mula noon, sinubaybayan ko na halos lahat ng games.

ang saya-saya ng game yesterday ah. grabe ang improvement ng players ng Ateneo.
sina Valdez at Lazaro, mga rookies pa lang ata nun (3yrs ago) pero magagaling na. si Ahomiro at De Jesus nun mga bench warmers/watergirls pa lang, pero kita nyo naman ngayon.
 
this Saturday, March 8. Game 2 ng finals na. sadly, di ako makapanood ng live sa Araneta.

And I thought this thread would be full of bash posts, whether it be an Ateneo fan bashing La Salle, or a La Salle fan bashing Ateneo. Good thing it wasn't!

I'm a guy but I'm an avid fan of volleyball and I'm biased, forever green is my color since I came from the Taft side. Though I'm a solid supporter of the ladies in Green and White, I can't deny the fact that the UAAP's got a lot hell of talents from different schools.

And the list goes on and on and on and on....

For the meantime, let's just enjoy the hardcourt swashbuckling action between La Salle and Ateneo.

I never really thought that The Ateneo will disappoint all the non believers and march to the finals, knowing that they lost Coach Gorayeb and majority of their key players last year, many really have never thought that they'd be dancing the last dance with their arch rivals in the collegiate ranks. It's a shock as well that they took game 1 last Wednesday and dismantled that thrice to beat advantage of DLSU. Ateneo's really scary right now since they have the confidence and they're hungry for the crown, plus, defeating their 2 year tormentor and arch rival would be the sweetest thing next to winning the coveted crown for this year, so no wonder that they're eager and hungry for the win.

DLSU on the other side will come back stronger, I believe that they'll bounce back tomorrow as their loss last Wednesday will server as their wake up call to pull their selves together and as well as to not underestimate the heart of Ateneo. Though, Ateneo should not underestimate the heart of a 3peat champion as well.

I'm getting excited for tomorrow's game! I might not be able to watch live on the Big Dome but I'll definitely scream my lungs out while watching it on the television. 

Beat Ateneo! AN1MO LA SALLE!  Inyo na daw Game 1, amin ang Games 2 and 3. hehe.

kaya yung mga bashers at yung hobby na ang manglait, tabi-tabi muna kayo. dun na lang kayo sa showbiz threads.

nakakatawang-nakakainis lang kasi ang mga fans na halos magpatayan na eh, yung mga mga hinahangaan nilang volleybelles nagkakamayan, nagyayakapan.
hindi mo naman masabing "plastikan" lang kasi once upon a time naging teammates naman talaga sila nung highschool days nila, regional meets. at sa dami ng regular volleyball leagues ngayon, hindi malayo na maging teammates rin sila uli.

basta walang mag bash ng "player/athlete" dito ha?
payag ako kung ang mga coaches ang upakan nyo.

kaya di pa matured enough..hehhe

I like Shiela Pineda..small but teribble..
taas ng elevation at kung pumalo parang dala ang buong adamson...
she can be a good libero too..husay ng depensa sa floor.
