Or look for NGO's or govt agency that deals with domestic violence.

sis, i think this time you need your family's help. As much as possible, wag mo ng antayin mag- 1 year ang anak mo, sayang ang panahon.

sis everytime na nagkaka big fight kami nanakit sya, sinasakal nya ako, drina drag nya ko sa floor, hahawakan nya ako ng mahigpit then tinutulak ng malakas, pinitsarahan din nya ko dati, nasampal na nya ko ng malakas, last time hinampas nya sa mukha ko yung binder and sinakal nya ang mukha then brag me in the floor.. I know I'm still in the denial stage na di sya nanakit.. Iniisip ko minsan, di naman nya ako sinusuntok but minsan naiiyak ako kasi i know he already violated my right... everytime na galit sya lagi nya ko tinatakot na sige sasaktan talaga kita... :,( i'm only 4'9 and he's 5'9 and masculine kaya sobrang nabibigatan ako sa kamay nya saken..

I'm really sorry to hear this sis. :(

You are a battered wife, sis.  Ang mga abusive people, they'll let you think that it's your fault why they hurt you. Then they'd apologize. Then they'd hurt you again, tapos they'd apologize. It's the same vicious cycle.

Don't let him treat you that way. It takes a lot of courage to admit that you're being physically abused, so nobody here thinks that you're t@nga. :)  Some women (baka nga most pa eh) choose to look the other way when their husbands cheat on them or beat them up.  The fact that you're thinking about leaving him is I think brave nga eh.

Do what's best for you and your child. Don't raise your kid in an abusive environment.

sis yummy05, i so feel for you!  :'(

please, please, please tell your parents... maybe when you finally decide na this is it, no turning back - tell them because i am sure they will protect you.

physical abuse na lang kasi ang hindi ko nararanasan sa hubby ko. naambaan ako pero hindi pa naitutuloy, yun ang hinihintay ko --- that slap or punch para magising na ako sa kalokohan ko at magawang harapin ang katotohanan na there is no marriage that will work pag isa lang ang nagtatry...

please, mag ingat ka and your baby... you are not t@nga, please don't say that. you are a wonderful wife and mother who do not deserve what your husband is doing to you... you are a good person! let's always pray, pray, pray... ***hugs***

So please, huwag kang papayag na masaktan niya ulit.

Hugs...

^Sis please lang lumaban ka. Kung working ka dati I'm sure kaya mo pa magwork ulit. kung ang problem eh pagsupport sa anak mo, I'm sure kayang kaya mo yan buhayin. Wag mong tiisin lahat ng pananakit niya just because ayaw mo maging broken family. Mas lalong problema yun baka lumaking violent anak mo.

Take care of yourself sis kawawa si baby kung may mngayre sayo.

Thanks sis.. Naiyak ako sa message mo.. Last chance nalang sis, I'm just doing this for my baby.. Ayokong maging broken family but if it's bound to happen, tatanggapin ko na lang..

I don't know what to say.. Thanks mga sis, i'll take all your advice.. :'(

sis, u have to tell someone close to u.  ur family, ur friends. sa ngayon kasi sinasarili mo ang problemang ito, so pakiramdam mo nagiisa ka. na hindi mo kaya. na u need to hold on to the relationship kasi ito lang ang choice.

ur family and friends can help u. no need to wait for your child to turn a year old. when u tell them ur problem, magugulat ka how much support system you have. (dito pa lang sa GT madami na e ;)).

please do it for yourself and your child.  its the best. being in a broken family is so much better than to be in a family where there is physical abuse.

ill pray for you.  hope you do the best decision.

Sobra naman ang pambubogbog nya sayo. Next time na gawin nya, magpa medical ka and ipa blotter mo na sya.  He has no right to do that.

That is more traumatic than not having a father at all. Your son is definitely better off without him.

For now, I would encourage you to make plans na how to live without him, financially.

Una una like gracita, super alaga ako.  Then nung lumipat na sa sales lagi na nainom, tapos may girls pa tsaka lagi late umuwi if at all he goes home. Never cares to tell me if he is to go home or leave home. Minsan maalimpungatan ako in the middle of the night na wala sya. Yun pala umalis.  Reason nya he does not want to wake me up. G*go nya.  Anyway ex ko na naman sya.  Kaya I am much much better off without him. Then to make the long story short, ako rin nag give up.  To relate to your story, sinasabi pa nga nya minsan sakin, kahit ng mom in law ko, mabuti daw at hindi sya nambubogbog at hindi sya nag g gamble, kaya kelangan ko pasalamatan na maayos ang buhay namin. G*go nila.

I came from a broken family.

Hi sis yummy,

May na-meet akong speaker, and take note psychologist pa sya, she came from a well to do family, it took her 10 years to finally get out of her abusive marriage.

Nobody can make you move into action but yourself.

What's holding you back from opening up to your family? Are you afraid to be embarrassed? Do you think they won't believe you? Do you fear marring your husband's image?

Of course syempre, the realization must first set in na you are a battered wife and you are in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. And that you don't deserve his treatment towards you. Nobody deserve to be abused, nobody deserves to be hurt physically. What he is doing to you is utterly wrong. You deserve to be loved, to be cherished and to be taken care of.

Hi sis... kamusta ka na?

hindi talaga madali magdecide.... may iba na matagal may iba na mabilis. in your case, i can understand why but have a time frame lalo na abused physically ka. tama ang ibang sis, di rin magiging magandang environment sa baby na lumalaki na nakikita nyang sinasaktan ng dad nya ang mom nya. there's a possibility din na maging ganun ang baby mo. tell your family as well, para they can support you physically, emotionally and if they can financially as well. ako naniniwala, ang mga nanay para sa anak gagawin ang lahat so if you're worried financially... im pretty sure in the future makakagawa ka ng paraan kumita.

baka need nyo din ng space muna.... pag calm na lahat try seminars for married couple or counseling. then have him check by a psychologist.... nananakit sya eh most likely need nya ng intervention.

about sa car mo.... is it under your name? kaso married right? lalabas conjugal property.... unless nakapangalan sa parents mo kung sila sakali nagbigay.... consult a lawyer na rin about it. kasi alam ko pwede din magbenta ng conjugal property eh pero di ko lam kun ano yun mga legal terms.

pray din.... be strong and have faith kaya mo yan. have you read footprints in the sand? pagnababasa ko yun naiiyak ako..

Open deed of sale sis, pero kinukuha nya saken..

Pero minsan, or most of the time, OA lang kasi ako mag-isip.

Sis, be strong for your baby ha. Good luck.

sis yummy05

I have sent you a pm. Please respect and love yourself. You know you and your son do not deserve this kind of abusive life. I have been in the same boat before and it took time when I finally realized that I didn't deserve to be treated this way and to fight back. Pride won't get you anywhere, so there is no reason at all for you not to seek help from your family, who is always there for you through thick and thin, they won't judge you nor disown you..

But even how many advises you hear from them or from us, it is only you and you alone who can help yourself. And first thing is first, making a decision to end this abusive relationship and stick with the decision no matter what. No turning back. Once you are starting to move on and picking up the pieces of your life, you might even slap yourself for taking so long to make this move, for swallowing all the crap he did to you. You will feel you have wasted too much time for someone who doesn't even care at all about you and your son, who treats you like sh*t after all the sacrifices you made..who lies to you..he is not even contented to hurt you emotionally and psychologically, he had to bring "physically" into the picture. It is better to be alone than in bad company.

Mind you, I had the same reason to stay in the relationship as everyone else who is/was in an abusive relationship, and it's because I didn't want my child to have a broken family coz I came from one and it was really hard. I didn't want my daughter to experience not having a father, and I didn't want to turn out like my mom who became a workaholic, trying to make a living for us to survive but in the process lost her connection to us and made us distant to her. I didn't want to lose myself. But the longer I stayed in the abusive relationship and trying to make it work, the more I could see it is not doing any good to my child and to myself. the more I realized you cannot force someone to change unless he wants to. the more I realized that this is not normal anymore and my daughter and I deserved better

Please love yourself and your son. If you think he is not affected or doesn't know what is going on, think again. My daughter was exposed to this kind of abusive relationship when she was just months old..I left him when she was 1yr 10 months old and up to this day, she is turning 4yo a few months from now, whenever she sees me cry or sad, she always thinks it's her dad that is making me feel this way..she asks "are you sad? papa fight with you?", there was even a time I was crying on the phone and she assumed I was talking to him, she grabbed the phone and shouted "Papa stop fighting mama!! stop fighting mama!!" and gave me back the phone. she doesn't want him near me at all (If I had to bring her to my inlaws when I have nanny problems)..any slight raise of his tone when he talks to me when she is around, she immediately hits him with her hand and runs to me, giving him a very evil look and will not go near him. so you see, kids KNOW and are very observant. kala mo lang walang effect pero meron. nakaka-awa and naiinis ako sa sarili ko because I exposed her to that kind of environment back then.

You have no choice but to stand on your own starting NOW. Learn to get up and fend for yourself and your son, there is no other person he will be dependent to but you, so you need to get a job, so one problem gets resolved. Ask your family's help to look after your son while you are looking for a job. Solve one problem at a time..stop wallowing on your problems sis, or you won't get anywhere. I know it is hard, I know coz I have been there..but you have no choice now but to be strong. Make it a habit to look forward, not back. Once you get a job, find a nanny to look after your kid, unless your mom is willing to. But please please, move out or kick your husband out of he house (if possible)if you can. Like what I said, everything starts with a Decision.

Once your financial and who's-gonna-look-after-my-kid problems are resolved, everything else will follow. Trust that God will never abandon you. Pray for guidance and courage, a clear mind and a peaceful heart. God helps those who help themselves, so please do not just pray and wait for a miracle to happen.

God bless sis

Sis Momentum, thanks for sharing. Naiyak ako because it reminds me of my experience din.  Though I was not physically abused, pero emotional and mental torture din yung napagdaanan ko.

And like you, I stayed on and on. Pero sakin was a very long tedious process bago ako nakaalis.

Sis Nessy, talagang ganun. Kaso at the end of the day, nung maghihiwalay na, sila nanga nangaliwa, sila pa yumayaman kasi "conjugal" daw. How fair is that????
