Revisiting Korea in November...I find myself usually there spring autumn or winter...never summer as it can be real hot there, too. Have previously stayed at Unseo (Hotel Queen), Gangnam (Renaissance Seoul and Ramada) and Yongsan (a Filipino's house) areas....plotting to stay at Ibis Myeongdong this time around since I am the designated tour guide of 3 oldies...haha...my parents and an Australian aunt. After renewing my dad's pspt this Aug, will submit visa applications by end of Sept or early Oct. Thankful that all 3 of us are frequent Korea travellers and have OECD visas so less hassle at the embassy. It would be my dad's 1st applic as a retiree though. I couldn't find a specific category for him at the visa requirements list. What documents are considered proof of pension?

It's our last day in korea. Yesterday, we went to nami island. I thought our journey will be complicated but it was simple indeed. Matagal lang talaga biyahe mga 1.5hrs per way but ok lang. It was very cold yesterday. About 10 nung day time then 8 or 9 degrees at night. We had dinner at samboten japanese resto myeongdong. Yummy din food niya and ok ang service. then we tried the street foods. Standard ata price nila at 3000krw each. Yummy din. 

Sis pano commute nyo to nami? Dami ko nababasa online but i dunno ano dun easiest. Thanks

Hi sis! Here's what we did. :
1. From myeongdong staion,  we took line 4 to dongdaemun history and culture park station.
2. From dongdaemun history and culture park, we transferred to line 5 going to gunja station.
3. From gunja station, we transferred to line 7 going to sangbong station.
4. From sangbong station, transfer to the itx train then get off at gapyeong station. T money lang din gamit dito.
5. when you reach gapyeong staion, take the cab going to namisum for 2800krw.
6. Entrance fee to nami island and round trip ferry is 8000krw per pax. 
Madali lang yung pagpunta dun sis mahaba nga lang yung travel time mga 1.5hrs one way.

Just got back from korea this morning. Sa wangbijib korean resto in kysongdong ulit kami naglunch. Sarap kasi talaga and super ok service. We took the airport limousine number 6015 to incheon airport. In fairness on time flight namin.  best airport talaga ang incheon airport. Ang ganda sa departure area nakapag last minute shopping pa kami. Ang laki lang talaga niya kaya medyo napagod lang kami kasi we went to the tax refund counter pa and nagclaim pa ako ng items that we purchased at lotte duty free in myeongdong.  meron din hello kitty cafe and charlie brown cafe. We just had light dinner at charlie brown cafe, yummy naman mga sandwiches niya.

Hello! I checked online to seeif there is snow in Korea in Nov. I read winter but not sure about snow.
Is there snow every November or Dec in Seoul? I will get a visa to see snow and the culture. I have been to HK, Thailand, Singapore, KK and Macau.
Can I just stay for 3 days? I will use my off from work and file one day leave.

Hi! Super yummy ng mga pasalubong na nabili ko for my family, relatives and friends. Everybody happy!  i bought market o brownies, market o chocolates, lotte abc chocolates, ghana chocolates and crunky chocolates. Super love din namin yung calbee.  puro food and cosmetics binili ko for pasalubong kasi yun yung mga mas mura eh. Pag mga damit kasi sa uniqlo, giordano, mango, etc mas mahal dun. Yung etude products cheaper siya when you buy in theme parks like everland and lotte world. Sa myeongdong kasi uung precious mineral bb cream nasa 14000krw. Sa lotte world 10000krw lang. I love korea! For sure babalik ako dun some other time. Happiness!

^i bought them at lotte supermarket sis. Sa basement siya ng lotte dept store in myeongdong.
Lotte abc: 1800krw per 78grams pack
Market o brownies: 2500krw for 4 pcs in a box. 5000krw for 10pcs in a box.
Ghana milk chocolate: 630krw per bar
Crunky chocolate: 1000krw per bar
Calbee: 1700krw.
Market o chocolates: from 1800krw to 2500krw.
These are also available in olive young and gs25 convenience store.

I was in Seoul end of Nov 2012 and there wasn't snow yet but temp reached -6 already...I left 29Nov and a couple of days later, snow started falling already. Depende rin kasi eh. One trip before ko, I was there Dec 12-14, snow flurries lang inabot ko and some rain showers. I am heading there again this year, early Nov naman this time.

Masarap din yung chocolate popcorn na may nuts sa 7-11. Hehe try nyo, 7-11 din yung brand. Bumili ako dati kasi inuubos ko yung laman ng T-Money, eh yun nakita ko. Nanghinayang ako na 1 lang binili ko so pagbalik ko bili na ko madami.

I'm missing Korea na.  Travelled there alone last week for 7 days.  Tourist-friendly ng place at very efficient mga transporation nila.  I went to Palaces, DMZ, Nami, Petite France, Bukchon Hanok Village, Everland, 63 Bldg, Hongdae and KBS.  My first time sa Korea and my first time to watch Music Bank show live sa KBS.. Magandang experience.  Will probably go back there.  Ipon-ipon ulit.

We'll be in SK in November, and we're planning to go to Nami also via ITX at Cheonggnyagni (we're departing from Chungmuro Station). From my research kase, pag ITX daw ang sakyan sis, konti lang ang stops so it's much faster than the regular subway. Medyo naconfuse lang ako sis, kase sabi nila pag ITX you can't use the T-Money,you have to purchase ITX ticket daw? However, according po doon sa binigay nyong directions above, ginamit nyo din yung TMoney sa ITX?

Another question sis, ilan ang capacity nung taxis sa Gapyeong? We are 7 kase, 5 adults and 2 small kids. Maybe we need to separate into  2 groups?

^hi sis! Nuna kami kasi, dapat bibili din kami ng separate ticket for the itx train pero when we asked the staff at the train station, he said puwede daw yung t money. Then yun ginamit namin. I'm not sure sis if ilang persons ang allowed per taxi. 2 lang kasi kami ng friend ko eh.
