i was wondering what else we can do in myeongdong while waiting sa last day. Around 5pm pa kami siguro punta sa airport... any suggestions?

Yup, the university's all the way at the end of the shopping street. So just go straight and you won't miss it.

As for Myeongdong, well, the only thing I can think of is last minute shopping. Hehe. That's what I would do, at least. It might be too hectic if you fit in a visit elsewhere. We stayed in Hongdae din kasi, so I can't really suggest anything else for the area except shopping and visiting N Seoul Tower.

Mmm... South Korea. The memories. I miss it - was there last year March 2012. (VERY COLD! saw snow).

Anyway, I hope they stop that bickering already so we can all visit Korea again. Best country I've visited by far. Yes, Ehwa univ is great - one look at it and you'd be wishing your kids will study in that place.
South part of Seoul is great, don't miss that spot.

btw may locks of love sa baba naman kafloor ng bilihan ng tickets  so no need to buy entrance for that ( we did lugi kami grrr) then super foggy so wala kwenta observatory. sa teddy bear lang ako nasiyahan

Yeah, the observatory was a bit of a rip off. We spent just 10 minutes there because there's really nothing to do (plus foggy also, like you said). I enjoyed the grounds and the love locks area more. Even the cable car was a let down! Parang bottled sardines lang ang peg haha. I was squished in in the middle of the crowd, so I could barely enjoy the view. Then again, we did visit on a Sunday...

Super rip-off, even if the total package is just 13-14,000 won lang, still.

So to the others here that have plans of doing observatory, meh If you can just buy the Teddy Bear package, yun nalang. You will save money pa. Not worth it yun observatory.
For locks of love, PLEASE buy here then just bring there. Tourist trap yun locks nila (granted, cute but  still my goodness i wont pay about 300-500 for just a lock  that i will leave in the open air and will just rust there)

Hi mga sis! I'm in seoul now! We arrived at 7:30am today kasi delayed flight ng cebu pac. We took the airport limousine 6015 to sejong hotel then walked to nine tree hotel. Super love this hotel in myeongdong. This is just a new hotel and ang ganda ng rooms and spacious pa. Highly recommended!  we had lunch at myeongdong kyoja. We ordered to noodles and dumplings for a total of 16000krw. Yummy lahat ng food and wit free rice pa and super affordable. Then we just walked to namsan cable car then took it get to n seoul tower. Aliw ang locks and of love and teddy bear museum. Super cute!  yung observatory wala lang, 10 mins lang kami dun then we left na. We took the subway to gyeongbokgung palace, picture picture lang then we headed to dongwha duty free. I was supposed to buy a longchamp small cuir but medyo snob yung saleslady kaya i did not buy nalang. We went to lotte duty free in myeongdong and bought longchamp cuir there instead. I got a 10% discount for using my visa gold card and they even gave me a free le pliage cosmetic bag. Happiness!  we just ate dinner at dunkin donuts. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 donuts and ang sarap!!! We're now back in the hotel kasi we haven't slept yet since last night. Hirap kasi kami matulog sa biyahe. We'll be heading to everland tomorrow and praying for a good weather.  malamig nga pala kaninang morning nasa 10 degrees then nung afternoon 21 degrees na which is ok lang.

Mga sis ganun ba talaga mga hotels dito? Kasi last night parang nainitan kami ng best friend ko sa room then we called up housekeeping kung papano iadjust yung temp or baka may sira aircon. Then sabi nila automatic daw sa system yung aircon and lahat ng rooms same daw depende daw sa weather. Ganun ba talaga yun?
I bought lotte abc chocolates, ghana cocoa chococlates and market o brownies at lotte supermarket for pasalubongs. Grabe ang mura ng chocolates dito namakyaw talaga ako!

^sis yung lotte dept store where duty free is nasa tapat ng ibis hotel myeongdong. From ibis, there's an underground pass that will lead you to lotte young plaza, lotte dept store and avenue.

*unahin nyo Changdeok palace kasi medyo malaki to, wag nyo na pagsabayin 2 palace in one day kasi nung kame ganon ginawa namin medyo naumay kame kasi halos pareho lang pero worth a visit naman every palace lalo tong changdeok.  Then mag trickeye kayo, maliit lang naman trickeye more on pictorials dito then mga hapon mag banpo na kayo hanggang gabe don't miss yung rainbow light show ng bridge.

^sa Hongdae Guesthouse kame sis nag stay sa Hngdae area very near hongdae nightlife (bars and gimik area pero di kame nagtry walang mahilig , hello kitty cafe, trickeye museum and hongdae university.  naka connect yung building sa subway kaya no worries sa transpo:) kayo saan mag stay?

really connected siya? wala pang final eh. i am rooting for Namsan GH.. pero they say na uphill daw. baka naman exhausting siya. early 20's pa lang naman kami kaya i dont know if that is something that we should be bothered of. saka gusto ko rin yung malapit sa subway at may kasamang bfast pero mura lang. ang tingin ko kasing advantage pag nasa myeongdong ka is maraming nearby restos?

^yup directly connected sya sa subway kaya no worries sa travel and pagpunta ng airport plus hindi kayo mahihirapan magbitbit ng bagahe.  marame din shops and kainan sa hongdae as in!, Namsan is a good choice din naman fully booked nga lang sila nung nag try ako last time. lakad lakad nga lang daw pagpunta sa namsan gh.  pero kahit saan ka naman sa seoul talagang maglalakad ka hindi uso sakay ng sakay doon e

It's our second day here in sk. We went to everland. Ang laki pala nun. More on picture taking lang kami. Then pag uwi namin sa myeongdong we ate at caffe bene. Their honey bread is sooo yummy!
