Thanks to those who answered my queries earlier =)

Our travel agency advised us to get our visa via Spain. I'm in the process of choosing a tour package for  the itinerary. Thing is, the way it looks now we might be pursuing (for real) a package that doesnt even include Spain! We might touch on Eastern Europe instead kasi may nahanap kaming ok na tour package. Has anyone gotten their visa then skipped the country altogether?? Wala naman stamp yung countries in the middle right, so for as long as not the first and last country i can say we did stay in Spain somewhere in the middle of the trip? Not scared about getting the visa since we can bank on the fake itinerary, but more of the future times they check my visa, iaask kaya if i actually went to Spain..

Also, if you provide bank and investment certificates how old can they be? Im applying now for late May or June travel.

question. sa branch lang ba kung san ka nag open ng bank pwede kumuha ng bank certificate?

Just lodged my application via France. 2-5 days processing time

mga sis, quick question lang po, regarding the cover letter for my application in french embassy, kailangan ba sa day to day itinerary, kailangan nakalagay pa yung mga landmarks na pupuntahan in details pati yung time and description ng mga pupuntahan? do we have to memorize it for the interview?

then sa part ng application form na cost of travel, possible ba to check both by applicant and sponsor? then kakailanganin ko ng bank details namin and sponsor?

There is no interview, so your documents will speak for you.
I included a day to day itinerary pero super basic lang like what city il go to per day. Definitely di ko sya memorize.

I got a notification from VFS that my visa application has been processed and my passport will be delivered via courier in 1-2 days... hope this means that's approved!

^My insurance is AIG, just got it as recommended by travel agency. Duration is 37 days, may +15 days kasi to your travel period na required.

^I was wondering bakit walang interview for the French embassy, VFS na pala sila.

^^I get Malayan for my travel insurance. If you have a Facebook account you can purchase from their page. I usually add 5 days at the end of my trip (arrival in MNL) for the insurance validity. The more days covered will increase your premium kasi.

hmmmm... sa mga kumuha ng travel insurance, question lang, 30,000 coverage minimum applies only to medical expense right? may gold package kasi ang bpi/ms na medical expense coverage is 2,500,000 then accidental coverage is 1,000,000, will this be ok or should I go to the diamond package na 2,000,000 ang coverage for accident?

sa hiningi kong requirements sa vfs global, valid insurance lang within your intended stay... Im not sure if I should still extend it for few more days based on your recomendation mga pretty sissies....

I have to do this today kasi the required attestation d' accueil, obtained from their city hall should be in original copy (we'll be staying with them for a couple of days) wherein required ang insurance.

Ang tagal ng post office natin... feb pa nagpadala ng wedding invitation samin, hanggang ngayon wala pa...

Question: For those who used Malayan insurance, okay lang ba na yung printed pdf copy lang yung isubmit.

Sa German embassy kasi: Philippine Insurances must be accredited and given in the original with a Xerox.

Considered original naman yung printed pdf form right? ^_^

^Yes. That's what I submitted when I applied for my husband's schengen at the German embassy before.

may impact ba if during my application, ill be stating that we will only visit france then baka magbago itinerary and we'll go and have a day tour in nearby countries lang like switzerland?

^Your itinerary should be confirmed when you apply. That's why even hotel and airline confirmed bookings are part of the requirements. Some even submit their train bookings. They dont want shady schedules, it increases the chance that the applicant is doing something other than touring.

You can always submit a 'confirmed' schedule and change it after you get the visa. No need to state it in the application that you might be changing as this might impact their decision.

^Wala naman sis. Didn't even bother explaining how to get from one point to another. I simply submitted a list of the places to be visited, in order and the dates stayed in each, that's all. Supported with hotel and airline confirmed bookings in succeeding sheets.

another question mga sis, we'll be travelling on a group if three, my question is, do we have to prepare DIFFERENT cover letter and requirements besides personal stuff? mother kasi ni hubby is a housewife so technically we and our sponsorvwill pay for the trip.

 then out businesses is in my name... possible ba that my itr will also be included in hubbys papers and when asked, we'll just explain or probably prepare a letter explaining that our busibess is in my name so hes not filing in bir coz he help manage the business?

I got my travel insurance for Schengen visa via Malayan. So convenient! You can pay via credit card, just create a profile in their website. Kasi sa Blue Cross, I had to wait for their reference number before I can pay via BPI Bills payment. That's for getting an insurance, in terms of making claims, I cannot compare, hehe.

To those who applied via German embassy, kelangan digitally accomplished right (if I understood the updated checklist correctly)? Pero yung hotels kasi, andami. Balak ko, magsulat in my handwriting ng "see attached list". Di kasya sa form ang address, email and contact details. I think that's what I did before too.
