I mean yung kahit 1 month before the wedding kame uuwi, we can still comply sa requirements at hindi sila ganon kahigpit?

Haven't been wed, but I'm planning my own wedding. Depende siguro sa couturier na kukunin mo, pero so far sa mga natatanong ko ang recommended nila for your gown is 5-6 mos before the wedding date, they will take your measurements na and I guess uumpisahan na nila

^ there's a thread for overseas brides and i think you can also check that. i'm also based overseas and i had my measurements taken when we went for a short vacation last august - about 3 months before the wedding. according to my couturier, 3 months is enough time for her to finish my gown.

several factors are involved like your couturier's experience, reputation, and style.

if you're worried about it, maybe you can consider getting an RTW gown. if you live abroad, i bet there are lots of shops selling RTW gowns because i've found that it's really only in the philippines where brides have their gowns custom-made.

Overseas bride here as well sis. Ours is set December 2016. May I ask if you have booked any suppliers yet? Are you planning on getting full, partial or OTD coordination services? For Bridal gown you have to know first what budget range you can afford and from that theres tons of couturiers you can choose from. Learned that the hard way but the sissies here are so helpful you won't feel lost Happy preps!

sa bora ganda rin so beach wedding yun for sure;)

beach wedding rin plan ko, pero since walang dagat dito sa rwanda, then lipad kami going kenya para sa beach, specifically Mombasa;)

Sis, my wedding will be in Glass Garden, sa may pasig area. Church is Blessed John Paul sa Eastwood. Naku sis, di ko pa nga alam. Though nag scout na ko ng mga invitations sa Pinas. Gusto ko din sana mag DIY kaya lang naisip ko baka mas mapamahal pa ko sa ganon. Lalo na dahil limited supplies lang naman dito sa Abu Dhabi.

Sis, san ka magpapatahi ng gown mo? Here or Pinas?

hi sis princess_brat 2016_May_bride abu dhabi base din kami ni hubby.. ang hirap kumilos no hehe kami nga until now stuck parin sa paghahanap ng mananahi eh hindi ko alam if dito o sa pinas na kami magpapatahi since half ng abay naman eh dito mang gagaling. kayo ba??? ang saya makakita ng mga taga auh din

Somebody suggested this bridal shop in Sharjah, maganda naman daw tumahi though I havent had the chance to visit and inquire yet. They have instagram, you might want to check - qasr al hasna. Ako naman halos lahat ng entourage sa Pinas manggaling, bale yung gown ko lang plus 2 MOH lang [textspeak!] ang hahanapan namin dito.
