Mga sis, sulit ba para sa inyo ang Panglao tour? Kung sakali kasi, we will be availing 3 tours from RJ Intano (recommended by sis Chyng)--countryside tour, island tour and the Panglao tour.

Included in the Panglao tour are the following:

Bohol Bee Farm
Hinagdanan Cave
Miraculous Church of Dauis
Panglao Watch Tower
Bayoyoy the dwarf ( Smallest man in Bohol, featured in Rated K )

Our parents (both seniors) and 3 kids (two 7 yr olds and a 2 yr old) will be coming with us. Mukhang di na kakayanin ng seniors and toddler ang Hinagdanan, but I'm wondering kung kakayanin ito ng 7 yr olds? We're also not interested in seeing Bayoyoy so we'll probably scrap this leg of the tour.

Possible kaya na habang ginagawa namin itong tour ay tambay mode nalang yung seniors and toddler sa Bohol Bee Farm tapos balikan nalang sila after the tour?

More importantly, sulit ba puntahan ang places included in the tour? Kasi kung hindi, baka we'll just opt to go/eat at Bohol Bee Farm and not do the entire tour.

April 11-14 pala ang travel date namin. We'll be staying at DBR2.

^IMO, Bohol Bee Farm lang ang worth it diyan sa itinerary na yan. so if it were me, i won't avail of that tour, i'll just DIY Bohol Bee Farm.

^Better to rent a van. Worth it places to see is BBF, Hinagdanan cave (if you haven't been to a cave before okay na rin dito otherwise skip it) and the Dauis Church.

From Dumaluan you can go to BBF first (20 minutes drive), have lunch. Then pwede kayo swing by Hinagdanan Cave and end up at Dauis Church for merienda. The church has a small cafe and souvenir shop. You can eat either inside or outside under the hundred year old tree facing the sea. Very relaxing. You can check out pictures of it in my blog.

Kagaling lang namin Bohol.  Agree with mama squeak. Natuwa ako magshopping at kumain sa Bohol Bee Farm. We were booked at BBF for two nights so hindi extra effort ang pagpunta namin dito.  Some might be bored with Hinagdanan Cave if nakapunta na kayo sa ibang mas malaki at magandang cave. Ako, naenjoy ko naman since first time ko makapunta.  Dauis Church ok rin sya. But if you're not into old churches or you are not too religious, pede mo rin siguro iskip.  Yung ibang tourist spots sa Panglao Tour, hindi na namin pinuntahan.

for me our 1 night stay @ Bohol Bee Farm is the Dessert of our tour sa Bohol ..lahat masarap ang food sa BBF, walang nasayang... worth it talaga ... nakaka-miss yung nag Dinner kame, infront ng dagat, nakaka-relax..

@wahmproject, how was it spending 2 nights at BBF? di kayo na-bore? ano yung tour itinerary niyo while BBF ang accommodation ninyo?

kasi ang plan talaga namin is to stay for 2 nights in one non-beach accommodation and stay for another 2 nights in a beach accommodation (BBC). ang pinagpipilian ko dun sa first accommodation (non-beach) is Loboc River Resort or BBF. kaso ang itinerary kasi namin for the first 2 days ay yung Loboc lunch cruise, Tarsier, Danao Adventure kaya i chose Loboc River Resort. tapos mag-day tour na lang kami sa BBF.

kaso parang i'm interested din in staying in BBF... iniisip ko lang, di ba masyadong malayo ang BBF sa itinerary namin for the first 2 days na Loboc, tarsier, danao adventure? mga gaano kalayo kaya? kasi kung keri lang naman yung travel time, dito na lang kami mag-stay for our first 2 nights instead of Loboc River Resort.

^ nung kame sis 2 nights sa Dumaluan, kasi gusto ko talaga na quiet na beach nakaka-relax then 1 night stay sa BBF, for me ok na ang 1 night, kasi wala den naman halos magagawa sa BBF... sulit na overnight parang pag katapos ng ilan days na hectic na galaan ang puros ka swimingan, may isang araw kayo na chill lang, + reward na den ang masasarap na food na sineserve nila... at hindi den naman kasi makakaswimming sa BBF....

ganito Itinerary namen nung nasa Bohol na, Cebu-Bohol kasi IT namen

Day #2: pag kasundo sa pier, diretcho na City Tour, then check-in sa Dumaluan
Day #3: chill lang sa beach, ito main purpose namen for the our 2nd time in Bohol
Day #4: check-in sa BBF, relax mode
Day #5: balik na ulit ng Cebu

^^ meimei, sis medyo boring sa BBF (hehe) kasi hindi gano swimmable ang dagat at pool nila dun.  Wala talga silang “beach” or sand area. malakas ang alon so unsafe especially for kids. According to the lifeguard or dive shop employee there, recommended yung area nila for divers. tapos yung pool, pede na sana kaso indoor sya so the water was so cold during our whole stay. hindi ko talga kinaya, pero ang anak ko (3 yrs old) nakapagswim for 30mins to an hour while we were there. So if wala kayong activity/tour during your stay there, you might get bored. 

Our itinerary at BBF:
Day 1 we arrived lunchtime and just stayed at the resort
Day 2 9:00am we left the resort for the Tour.  We started at Hinagdanan Cave, then Dauis Church, Blood Compact, Baclayon Church, Python. At around 12noon, we arrived at the Rio Verde Floating Resto Cruise (this is different with the more popularly known Loboc River Cruise).  Sa Loboc River pa rin naman sya but a different part of the river.  Dito wala ganong mga bahay na makikita.  Sabi din kasi ng driver, sobrang dami ng tao sa Loboc River Cruise so minsan matagal waiting period.  2pm transit to Chocolate Hills. Around 45 mins travel sya, nakaidlip ako sandali.  4pm Manmade forest, Tarsier, Hanging Bridge then past 5pm at Butterfly Garden.  Before 6pm, tapos na tour namin.  Nagdinner na lang muna kami before going back to the resort. 

Day 3, chillax lang then checkout at 12 noon, transfer to Bellevue.

Dagdag ko pala, if you allot two days for the tour, I think pedeng pede nyo magawa.  Sabi nila meron din daw ziplining and cable car sa Loboc.  Kinulang kami sa oras since it closes early daw before 5pm so hindi namin napuntahan. But sa Danao pa rin ang masmalaki and masmaraming adventure activities.

Ang distance ng Loboc, Danao and BBF probably 30 mins one way.  So doable naman if magtour starting from Bohol Fee Farm.  Kung kasama naman sa tour ang Bohol Bee Farm, ok na siguro sa Loboc River Resort kayo nakabook para maiba.  Wala akong idea sa Loboc River Resort so I’m not sure of its facilities.

For the beach accommodation, the drivers told us that Bohol Beach Club is closed for renovation because its under new owners/management.  I’m not sure though if it will be open soon.  I would suggest Bellevue Bohol for total relaxation and great service.  Isolated nga lang sila ah, hindi tulad ng Alona Beach.  And while we were at Bellevue, hindi rin kami nakaswimming sa beach area kasi low tide sobra!  Clear sana ang water, malinis but marami ding seaplants. Amihan daw that time sa kanila.  Baka starting April, wala na.  So sa pool talga kami nagenjoy. May lifeguard/bantay din sa pool area.

When we went to Alona Beach around lunchtime after our seatour, mataas ang tubig and maalon.  Sarap sana magswimming but hindi na clear ang water (bec of the alon), and may mga seaplants din but not as many as Bellevue Doljo.  Not sure about Dumaluan this time of the year if maganda ang beach area nila this time.  At first glance, parang masmaganda sa Alona Beach vs Bellevue Doljo Beach.  But both hindi ako makatagal sa pagswimming. Makalublob lang ng 15mins, masabi ko lang nakapagswimming ako sa dagat, done na. hehe. So Im not sure if ganito ba sa Panglao Island whole year round.

Thanks mama squeak! It's good that you mentioned the cafe in Dauis church. You got me with the "hundred year old tree facing the sea" so we definitely won't be skipping that leg of the tour. Hehe.

I was also thinking that I'd still want for us to push through with the Panglao tour (we'll scrap going to Bayoyoy) because I'd want for the kids to experience Hinagdanan cave. I'd also want for us to see Dauis church and the watch tower because of its historical significance. Ang concern ko nalang ay ang oldies when we do the Hinagdanan leg. Gaano ba katagal ang part na ito? Meron kayang comfortable place na pwedeng matambayan ang oldies dito? O magstay nalang sila sa van? Kung wala at alanganin, we'll just do Dauis church and the watch tower.

Our first day in Bohol will also be our father's birthday. Our group will be arriving around 10am and the second group around lunch time. I was thinking we'd spend his birthday in BBF and eat an early dinner there. We'll still be returning to BBF though for our Panglao tour.

^Saglit lang kami sa Hinagdanan, nag-dip lang si hubby to cool off then alis na kami. I don't know how it is now since matagal na yun.

One of my favorite churches in Bohol is the Dauis Church. You can even get holy water from their miraculous well in front of the altar. Bawal lang mag-post ng blog links dito but you can click on my signature for my Bohol post.

My suggestion lang, when you arrive Bohol swing na kayo ng Dauis Church. Madadaanan naman ito going to Dumaluan. Have lunch there while waiting for your second group. On your way to Dumaluan, swing kayo sa Hinagdanan naman. Then check-in sa resort. Last activity of the day nyo is dinner at BBF.

So your IT will be kind of like this:

Day  1    Arrive Tagbilaran 10AM
              Proceed to Dauis Church for brunch (15 minutes travel time from airport)
              Either wait for your other group here or proceed to Hinagdanan after brunch
              (15-20 minutes from Dauis Church)
              Check-in at Dumaluan
              Dinner at BBF

At least day 1 nyo maximize yung araw ninyo.

Baka pwede nyo kontratahin yung susundo sa inyo sa airport to follow this itinerary so it can free up your other days in Bohol.

^Good suggestion sis! Ganyan nalang gagawin namin. Kaya lang 9am pala arrival namin while 2pm pa pala ang second group kaya mukhang malabo na mahintay namin sila at baka magreklamo ang seniors na kasama namin. Hehe. Pero we'll follow your suggestion to swing by Dauis church before going to the resort (we'll be staying at Bolod Beach Resort instead of DBR2).

So this is what our first day in Bohol will look like:

9am    Pick up first group at airport
          Proceed to Dauis church and Panglao watch tower; eat breakfast at Cafe Lawis
11am Proceed to resort; check in
2pm   Pick up second group at airport
        Drop by at Dauis church and Panglao watch tower; have a quick snack at Cafe Lawis
4pm   Proceed to resort; check in
430pm Proceed to Bohol Bee Farm for early dinner

Hello! Ask ko lang sa mga nakavisit na sa bohol kung gano kalayo yung chocolate hills from alona beach, panglao? We'll be staying at amorita.  Short visit lang kami, 3d2n kaya gusto namin sulitin ang beach. We want to trim the tours lang sana to chocolate hills, dauis or baclayon church and bohol bee farm. Kaya ba ito ng half day? And may massuggest ba kayo na van rental with driver na mabait? Super thanks!

Question about the island tour din pala. Is it better to bring lunch packs o magpaluto nalang ng seafood sa Balicasag? Sakto lang ba prices ng seafood at ng paluto? How about drinks? Kailangan pa ba magbaon o may mabibilhan naman doon?

^ mura naman mgpaluto sa balicasag. 1000 good for 5 persons na. dala ka nalang ng water for drinks pero meron namn dun drinks mabibili

^ang nabili lang namin sa balicasag is buko juice kasi may packed breakfast kaming dala from the resort. ang fresh buko juice is P50. when i asked how much yung isang malaking fish dun, P170 daw ang raw, iba pa ang fee sa pagluto.
