sis cheezums, naku kay Jorina ka pala na assign.. hehe.. good thing hindi ko kinuha yung Hizon's.. parang walang freebie na binigay sa amin si Jorina during grand food tasting. Sobrang matipid sila sa freebie. I even attended a wedding na Hizon's ang caterer at nadismaya ako sa couple's area.. parang kurtina ang style ng backdrop...anyway, baka naman depende sa AE ang mga freebies.. try to ask kung saan sila may event para makita mo yung actual setup.. minsan maganda lang sa pic pero sa actual sobrang tipid ng arrangement. ang alam ko sa buffer ay 10% ng total guests mo.. so kung 180 yan dapat may buffer na 18 yan..

ang alam ko sa buffer is sa food, not number of seats. for example, 150 pax,  ang i prepare nila is for 165 pax considering na 10% un buffer. and i know generous naman ang hizon's sa food. sabi ng Coord ko hindi ko na kailangan kumuha ng food for suppliers kasi magkakasya yun.

the freebie i got with hizon's is pasta upgrade and dessert upgrade. at free hotel dahil sa promo nila sa mga FT's.

Jorina gave me lots of freebies naman, feeling ko nga naka-quota na ako sa freebies and sa food tastings hahaha. She gave us: 5 cocktail tables with tea lights, dessert bar (6 kinds of dessert instead of 2), both iced tea and soda na instead of just one, big discount sa lechon chopper, free scoopers, pasta bar, kiddie tables set up, and since may 6 seats na excess yung last round table free na rin yung 6 pax (kung baga yung na daw yung buffer seats).  Plus free hotel accommodation since we booked during a GFT.

We attended 2 GFTs already. And then we will have a private FT soon para matikman yung ibang dishes na di pa namin na-try sa GFTs to help us decide sa menu namin. Iba pa yung final FT kasabay ng detailing wherein yung final menu na namin yung iseserve.

My friend who will get married this Dec said Jorina gave her 1 buffer table for free. As in 1 whole table. 180 guests niya, but she will be paying for 170 lang.

My coor advised me din na kaya na pakainin ng food ng Hizon's yung suppliers, sa dami ng food na sineserve. Pero sabi ni Jorina she will not advise that, syempre.

The first GFT na napuntahan ko was in Light of Love, where we will have our party as well, and maganda yung set up nila. May new look book sila to come out this 2015 daw, new set up styles. The set up I saw in the GFT will be part of the new look book I think. Kaya nakaka-excite.

Kasi di ba final dun na pag uusapan ang about sa final food and decors, prang mock set up.

^sis maukris, sa grand ft, dito yung maraming couple na invited. this is more of an introduction sa food and services nila and also para magkaron kayo ng idea kung ano'ng set up meron sila kase they usually style the area kung san yung gft na parang may event talaga.
the AE assigned to you will discuss the packages you can avail and give you an estimate cost or even discounts for on-the-spot bookings.
sa final ft naman, this will happen after mo i-book yung caterer. you have to schedule this with your AE in advance. usually it's just the couple and AE pero there are some na nagsasama ng coordinator. dito na usually ise-serve yung mga dishes na pinili niyo for the event and gagawa sila ng mock-up ng styling according sa napag-usapan nyo. mas masinsinan lang na usapan kase dito mo na ibibigay yung specifics and instructions that you want for your wedding. usually scheduled a month prior to the event.
there are differences din depende sa caterer pero this is just a general idea dun sa difference.

Hi sis, savannah hall is our venue same with hizons as our caterer.
Madami po na good feedback sa hizons and masarap po yung mga food nila.
Pero october pa ang wedding na  namin kaya i can't give pa yung reccomendation talaga, so far kasi okay din sila kausap.

I booked them kasi during the bridal fair, kaya nakuha ko kay Hizons yung upgraded na dessert. Buffet sytle na sya.

pero yun nga.. ideally, sa final food tasting ang ise-serve na sa inyo is yung napili nyo from their menu. but you can ask na lang siguro your AE kung pwedeng may options per dish dahil nga overseas si fiance. sometimes naman AE's can be very accommodating naman depende sa needs ng couple.

actually meron na kami caterer and venue kaso lang parang na iistress ako sakanila yung caterer namen simula nung after FT namen Nov 2014, wala ng reply sakin sa kahit anong email ko tapos ang dami ng recent negative feedback sakanila okay lang sana kung ang feedback is panget yung styling atleast kaya ko pang tiisin eh yung feedback na nauubusan ng food yung mga bisita. it's a big nightmare! kaya im thinking of changing na lang kahit nakapag DP na kami dun, ngayon nakita ko yung savannah hall and accredited caterer nila yung hizons which is yung package nila na venue+caterer almost same price ng caterer namen now but w/o the venue yun ha.. hayssss... it's becoming stressful na hahaha
