Budget allotment for your child's 1st birthday

I just want to know how much did you allot for your child's 1st birthday. What are its inclusions?

I'm beginning to plan for my baby's 1st birthday in August and I would like to have your inputs.

sis pink punk, depende yan where you want to celebrate your baby's birthday. if sa fast food chain, siguro about 20th to 30th pwede na depende sa no. of guests mo. disadvantage is di ka makakagawa ng gusto mong theme not unless pipili ka na lang ng theme nila na available. then limited lang time ng party, max 2 hrs lang.

if magpapacater ka naman, you can spend as much sa 50 to 70th depende sa no. of guests mo and how much your venue rental is. mas mahal pero the advantage is you can do whatever you want including the theme and all plus you can have as much time as you want for the party

thanks sis cecil65... i want to keep my budget under 50k. guests might be 115 pax (90 adults / 25 kids). i'm exploring racks, el pueblo or renting a venue in the pasig area.

My original budget was 100K but ended up spending around 150K. We had about 160 guests, no kiddie entertainment.

sis at 50K I suggest you have your party at a resto where the venue is included na. For Pasig area, usual places are the VV clubhouses, Acropolis, Corinthians and their rentals are in to 10K+range. You won't have much leftover for decor or food.

Are you also looking to include entertainment, decor and photo in your budget too?

actually the figure just might bloat to 70k if i put in a little entertainment like a party host/game master and a candy buffet on a rented venue. aside from the clubhouses in the pasig area, there's also malayan plaza, function room with rental under 10k. they've no restrictions on caterers. heck, i'm even considering shakey's just so i can follow my budget...

my artist friend will help me with the styling... a simple one will do.
and my semi-pro photographer friends are also willing to cover the event.

the challenge is keeping to my budget and creating a memorable event for my baby's 1st birthday. i really, really hope i can achieve this! and you're right sis khriseee, opting for a resto is achievable with the budget i've set

^^sis pinkpunk Malayan Plaza is 7500. Workable yung 70th mo with the no. of guests that you have. You will have entertainment and complete party essentials na with that if you choose to rent a venue

^yes, there's 7500 for 120 pax and 6500 for 100 pax. and the function rooms are also located at the 11th floor, pool side... nice to know that 70k is workable!

sis, everything's still tentative... my options are for fastfood/restos, shakey's and racks. or rent a venue with bistro 109 or center table as caterers. i'm exploring a picnic/sunshine theme. event is in august.

for 50k budget marami ng nice resto na pwede sis. basta huwag mo lang dagdagan ng maraming "extra" entertainment or foodcarts kasi yan ang magpapalaki ng gastos.

pansin ko kasi nung 1st bday ng baby ko, yung mga side entertainment nagpalaki ng gastos namin hehe. no regrets though

sis izabelle, i don't plan to have foodcarts... just food, decor, candy/dessert buffet and entertainment by a host/magician. since 100 guests, my running total is 70k na.

b. catering was at 200/head, and since i've reached 20k, they gave me freebies (e.g. bottomless drinks and "candy buffet")
c. entertainment costs 6k. haggled it to 5k. rhenzo was my host and magician.

Sis ang galing naman.ano food mo? we chose meryenda lang kasi the party will be at 3pm pero still it was 265/head. sa caterer pa lang almost 45k na. I still don't have a party host. and true divi was a great help talaga naloka ako sa sobrang mura ng prices.
