Sis cloudzy_09, pag dala ko si baby we breastfeed kung san man abutan. If baby wants to nurse na, hanap ng pinakamalapit na upuan tapos breastfeed. Pag wala naman upuan like some groceries, while walking nalang. Usually pag marami talagang tao or i'm breastfeeding while walking, i use my nursing poncho. Pero if i'm wearing a nursing top, madalas no need for nursing cover na.

If baby is not with me naman and i have to pump, i have to use my nursing poncho kasi mas hindi discreet ang pump (transparent kasi. Hehe). I tried pumping na anywhere na makakaupo ako - sa restos, cafe, car, fitting room, customs, during a pta assembly, cinema, etc. Basta you can be comfortable with it, you can actually do it anywhere. Sanayan lang siguro. ;-)

Thanks for the info mga sis, hindi pa kasi kami lumalabas ni baby nag wo worry ako kung pano mag papa dede pag nasa labas or ano gagawin ko pag kailangan na mag pump. Effort pala talaga mag pa dede pero para kay baby naman kaya ok lang.

^kung tutuusin mas effort ang magbigay ng formula:
- you need to wash & sterilize the bottle
- mag takal ng water and milk
- then after you need to wash the bottle after

If lalabas ka, the # of bottles will depend on how many hours you will be out. If you breastfeed, no need to bring anything. Mas hassle pa mag-open ng bottle at magtaktak ng gatas

ssi cloudzy_09 -- ako din i breast feed almost anywhere. hanap lang ng upuan. though kung nasa sm kami favorite spot ko yung babies section. daming upuan tyaka sanay ang mga taong may nagpapa breastfeed tahimik pa. i normally wear taps that are easy to open. at first akala ko button down blouses lang talaga pwede nung nagtaga shirts na lang hehe. tyan lang naman ang nakikita

tama rin si sis hunny_ally. mas effort mag formula. mas madami pang dala kung lalabas.

mommies ask ko lang pala since bf kayo at what age ninyo pinatikim si baby ng mga dairy products like ice cream? cheese? i already started giving johann solids kasi. okay naman siya with the pureed veggies. pero sometimes when he sees us eat ice cream nanghihingi -- umiiyak pag ayaw patikman wawa naman

At 1 y.o sis napatikim ko na si baby ng cheese then uminom na din sya nun ng fresh milk from cow pinatry lang namin nagustuhan naman niya. Wala namang negative reaction sa kanya.

I agree mas hassle-free ang breastfeeding when going out. Gusto ko Trinoma/Landmark kasi madaming seats, unlike sa SM na napapagod ako mag-nurse while walking. Has anyone been to Trinoma's nursing lounge? Ang ganda and comfy!

Medyo nahihiya lang ako mag nurse sa public place and hindi pa ako masyado magaling mag pa nurse kay baby kaya wala pa ako technique kung pano mag pa nurse na hindi masyado expose ang boobs May nakita ako pang cover pag nag [textspeak!] nurse siguro i will buy that.

Nag [textspeak!] nurse kayo habang nag lalakad ang galing naman siguro pag fully recovered na ako I will practice yan sa bahay.

^ pwede naman sis. As long as it's not giving you contractions while nursing.

Speaking of nursing in public. Yes, natry ko na yung naglalakad. Hehe barely a month old baby ko nun. Kay daling itago sa ilalim ng nursing cover. Ngayon, at almost 7 months, gyera kung tatakpan mo sya. So usually, sa fitting room or nursing lounge kami. I tried na yung sa trinoma bf lounge. So nice and comfy nga. But a fitting works well for us too.

Thanks sis maika14 and hunny_ally! Good to know na pwede naman. I also read sa baby center na it's safe and read other posts of moms who did the same thing throughout their pregnancy.

Hindi na kami ebf ng 9-mo old first born Ko but I still feed him directly at night. I know my supply has gone really really low but it is still bonding time between us. I guess he's comfort nursing most of the time too. It just felt sad hearing from my OB that I may have to stop since I am 8 weeks pregnant now.

Tanong ko lang pag nag stop ba mag pump nag le lessen din ba ang milk production ninyo. Onti onti kasi ako nag stop mag pump 3 days na ako totally hindi nag pupump gusto ko kasi mag direct feeding lagi kay baby kasi mas madami daw ang milk pag si baby mismo mag susuck kaya lang na pansin ko nabawasan yung milk ko dati nakaka 5- 7oz ako pag nag pupump 3-4x a day tapos lagi nag engorged breast ngayon hindi na napupuno yung breast ko and nag try ako mag pump today 2oz lang nakuha ko. Dinagdagan ko na natalac ko 4 cap/day pati water intake.

Sis cloudzy yes makakabawas. Kasi nabawasan ng frequency yung pagtrigger sa brain mo na gumawa ng milk.
Ex. 8-12 times ka magdirect feed kay baby plus 1-3 times ka magpump a day. parang sinasabi mo sa body mo to produce less milk.
When I say mabawasan it does not mean naman na yung iproproduce mo na milk the whole day kulang na kay baby...no naman
kasi sabi mo nga direct feed si baby.

ako sis hindi na nag mamalunggay. hindi rin gano madalas magsabaw pero I drink a lot of water, I direct feed baby and I pump also in between
to build my milk stash before going back to work.

Hi mga sis!    Long time lurker here, hehe.
I'm reading up as much as I can about breastfeeding and I cam across this: Nursing Supplementer System (http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com/products/51/supplemental-nursing-system-sns)
It looks like a simple system to help moms who are having some problems in BF like:
too little milk for the baby or even nipple confusion.

You put your breastmilk in the container and it hangs around your neck or something and there's a small tube you put beside your nipple and the baby will get milk while latched to your breast.
Instead of resorting to bottle too early daw. 
Anybody used this? the one in the link is sold by Medela, not sure if they have it here in the Phil.
Happy to hear from people who have used this.

Hello! First time mom here. 3 days old palang si baby ebf kami at direct pa. Takot ako nung nasa hospital pa lang kami pinupuntahan ko siya sa nursery akala ko walang lalabas sakin milk pero thank God meron naman kahit konti. Kaya tyaga lang pa-bf hanggang makauwi kami and ayun parang enough naman na nakukuha niya at may onting naglealeak sakin though di pa namin makuha yung perfect latch tyaga lang diin tiis muna kahit masakit. Kasooo triny ko magpump parang 2 patak lang lumabas sa isang boob ko pump ako ng pump hanggang sumakit na waley padin. Bakit po kaya ganun? :/ Gusto ko sana magpump din para may reserve kami na milk Pag gabi nahihirapan akong magpadede kasi CS ako masakit pa tahi ko. Ano po kaya pede gawin para makapump ako ng milk? :|

Ako din CS 3 weeks na kami BF ni baby ang malaki talaga nakatulong sa akin mag p dami ng milk is continous breast feeding and a good electric pump.

sis MaraMeow, and alam ko ganun minsan talaga sa early days when pumping. Iba kasi suction ng baby, super efficient. As long as the baby gets what he/she needs, you're doing well.
And your baby's stomach is as big as a cherry palang! Your body knows this so konti palang talaga. BM mo... supply and demand, sis Our bodies know what and how much our babies need
Continue latching and bfeeding and soon your supply will increase Don't give up sali ka sa mga FB groups ng mga BFing mommies like "Breastfeeding Pinays", dami dun to give you support and advice

^Ah I see. Thank you sis! Ngayon naman I can say na enough nakukuha ni baby kasi regular na bowel niya hayy salamat!! And yes nag increase na milk supply ko ang problem ko naman ngayon yung left breast ko mas malaki kaysa sa isa at yung nipple super laki!! (sorry tmi) ayaw ni baby dumede dun lagi na lang sa left kaya nangyayari leak ng leak yung sa left basang basa lagi damit ko hindi ko naman ma-pump din. ;( Tintry ko pa-latch si baby dun pulang pula na kakaiyak hindi parin makadede dun so no choice ako lagi kami sa right breast. help!!

Ako naman problema ko yung left breast ko mas maliit yung nipple kaya masakit mag pa dede and hirap din dumede si baby. Ang ginawa ko is pump ko lang yung left breast kasi pag hindi pump mag kaka mastitis yung left pag hindi nailabas yung milk tapos onti onti ko sinanay si baby sa left breast ko ngayon dumedede na siya sa left ko pero minsan hirap pa din siya mag latch doon.
