True, sis vhanya. Sayang lang they will throw it away nga lang kaya nag dadalawang isip din ako to get letterpress eh. For me naman I have 2 post wedding celebration on the insistence of the FMIL. She wants one sa Batangas post wedding party and then one sa Manila for I don't know who. It's crazy! So I am looking for a venue in Batangas pa and caterers and photographers but no more videographer. And also gown for the 2 parties. It's like having 3 wedding receptions! Pero sabi naman ng parents ni H2B sagot na nila tong 2 post wedding party so am not worried. hehe...

Sis Marcan22 yes nice nga yung La Castellana kaso walang parking. What time is the end of your wedding reception do you think? Kinda scary pag dark na and then the guests need to wander around the streets to find their cars. But if your wedding is early naman then La Castellana is ok.

so when is your big day? just last night we've decided our is going to be April 4, 2014.. so 4/4/14, though it's friday, anniv kasi namin yung 4.. happy preps as well

I know right? Grabe gastos. I also need 2 extra gown for the pre-wedding and the rehearsal dinner. Buti na lang hosted by our ninong my rehearsal dinner. The pre-wedding, we're gonna do it in a hotel para walang iisipin. Technically its like another wedding na nga rin since we are inviting 100pax =) Where are you going to buy your other gowns? Im thinking RTW na lang eh but Mel is also good sa long gowns (i like one gown she made in tulle fabric)

Sis vhanya, I ordered one from Mel Orlina too. The other gown haven't ordered it yet, wala pa. For the rehearsal dinner long infinity dress lang ako. Medyo informal lang naman yun, we will have it at Illustrado in Intramuros and scheduled with San Agustin, kinda late na kasi may weddings pa sila, the last one is 7pm!

sis isabella_15.. true kilig pa din    san ba ang reception venue mo? weather kasi natin ngayon so unpredictable. minsan early june pa lang umuulan na

mauuna pala ko sa inyo.. April 4.. pero wala pa kong nasisimulan  nagsesearch pa lang ako and nagiinquire sa mga suppliers. we are planning to have a christian wedding kasi, so garden ceremony sana and then indoor reception, same venue para wala ng hassle. most probably sa hotel para same venue na din ang preparation. kayo, who are the suppliers na nabook nyo na?

and sa ibang mga sis naten, can you recommend any P/V supplier from south (cavite, las pinas) na tried and tested nyo na? TIA

hello!

newbie here. I've been browsing some suppliers over the internet when I came across this forum. My boyfriend and I are going steady for about 3 years already and then suddenly he just proposed. So now I'm getting married! Good thing about this is I have like more than a year to prepare for my big day. I'm starting on scratch. All I know about "getting married" stuff is you just need to book first all the major suppliers in order for you to set your date (am I making sense? . We're looking at October 1, 2014 as our target day. It's a Wednesday so I think even if I decide to book my suppliers one month before my wedding day, I can still pull it off. Nevertheless I don't wanna cram so I suppose now is the perfect time for me to check on my major suppliers. And besides, I will be out of the country by June and will be back second quarter of 2014 so it's better to be prepared already.

I would really appreciate if you can share your suppliers with me since I don't wanna end up getting the wrong one.
