It's not necessary, sis. As mentioned here, you can prepare or buy new clothes and bring in props if you like.

However, if budget permits, why not diba? I honestly enjoyed having an engagement stylist. As fiancé and I are both busy with work, I don't have the time to conceptualize, look for clothes and shop for new ones. Getting a stylist made life so easy for us. I didn't have to worry about our clothes and accessories. During the shoot, they dolled me up and would fix my hair etc in between shoots. I felt like a star during that day, so I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Hahaha!

If you have a budget sis, go ahead and hire one:) kaya lang for me, since i am a budget bride and school ang theme namin (na di naman ganun kahirap i-style), we've decided to DIY everything. From our costumes saka [textspeak!] props like books, banners, chalkboard, etc. happy naman kami sa output hihi

thanks for the reply sissies! buti ka pa sis yannuh ang saya i-diy ng prenup niyo. will try to come up with themes and diy but i might end up hiring a stylist like you sis caleeice. i'm eyeing indie hippie. they're the cheapest and pinakamaganda sa mga natanungan ko. they have an 8k package (makeup, accessories, crafted props and furniture included na)

Hi Sis, para lang magkaron ka din ng basis hehe.. dati kasi ayaw ko din ng stylist since additional expense na naman siya but good thing eh nagdecide kami in the end na kumuha.. since budgeted nga kami, we end up with indie hippie. and glad we did.. sobrang ok nila gerly, mabilis magreply sa mga messages ko. sinamahan din ako ni gerly mag shop ng damit namin.. pagod na ako, siya hindi pa din! and nung prenup naka apat na bihis kami and tatlong look. sobrang oc niya din kaya talagang nakabantay siya sa mga shots pati registration ng makeup mo sa camera chinecheck nya.sobrang sulit nila. yun lang. hehe..hope it helps

super helpful nito sis yanieganda, thanks a lot! ok yung work ni gerly, magaganda and tasteful pa rin yung set niya even if a lot cheaper siya than the other prenup stylists. hindi din naman ako ganon ka-arte with the look i want for the prenup and i want the shoot within qc lang kasi h2b is super busy. i'm meeting gerly this weekend and natuwa ako sa feedback mo, na-excite ako! hindi nga lang makakasama si h2b sa initial meeting with gerly because of work, sayang. what did you talk about sa initial meeting niyo?

may suggestions ba kayo sissies on how to prepare for the initial meeting with the prenup stylist? i dont know what look or theme i want for the prenup eh. can i leave it up to them nalang to plan and decide?

isip ka muna themes na gusto nyo ni h2b, travel, laid back, adventure.. mga ganun. list as many as you can. pag nag uusap na kayo at mavisualize mo na which theme would best suit you, then you can choose. from there, sila na bahala mag conceptualize at gumawa ng mood board. I think. you can bring sample pictures ng gusto mong look or shot. list down din yung mga props na gusto mo.

sis we're meeting gerly tomorrow. good thing h2b can come with me na kasi initially di siya pwede. what package are you getting sis? i'm on the fence between basic with makeup and all-in package. i don't want naman kasi like a breakfast at tiffany's theme or game of thrones or super stylized na theme eh. i want a relaxed vibe lang kasi. isang theme na formal and dun lang namin siguro kelangan na sila magprovide ng outfit. yes gerly is super friendly and ang bilis magreply. although lahat ng prenup stylists na pinagtanunangan ko very friendly and very dilligent magreply. i think kasi prenup stylists are more of a want than a need? so they can't afford to be snobbish. that's just what i think. anyone's free to refute this.
