Dahil student pa lang kami ni hubby noon, since 2009 ang bigay namin monthly sa church 500 pesos as Pledge. Hindi pa keri mag tithes e tapos yung son din namin may Pledge na 100 monthly. Tapos offering naman nasa 50 pesos per Sunday, para saming dalawa na yun. Yung sa kids naman 20 php per Sunday School meeting.

Nag sstruggle din ako sa tithing before kasi sa dami ng sinusuportahan ko wala na kako akong ma save. But as I continue to seek the Lord I find it easier to obey. Since I started giving 10% of my income lalo pa akong na bless. Hindi kami nagkulang financially, pati sa husband ko na extend sa blessing ng Lord, gumanda benefits nya sa work nya, nag increase ang salary family members are healthy kaya preserved talaga yung savings namin kahit continuous yung support namin sa families namin..then lagi pang may extrang pang shopping

It's really difficult at first, ako dati ramdam na ramdam ko yung sakit ng pagbigay. But i asked God to correct my heart because i want to give with a cheerful heart kasi hindi talaga biro ang 10%. i'm thankful God listened to my prayer.

I think off topic pero based on true experience to, I no longer go to church because I lost faith sa mga pari (not with God syempre). True ang sinabe ng isang sis naten dito na ang catholic church has billions in investment. Merun akong kakilalang pare na nag asawa at me kids, walang ginawa kundi mag lustay ng pera napakaluho magpatayo ng ibat ibang bahay para sa naanakan nya. Imagine yung pera na nilalaaan mo na sana na ibigay nila sa mas nangangailangan ayun nasa mga asawa at anak nila and ang nakakalungkot dun e continuous parin ang gawain nila, so instead na ibigay sa kanila, sa charity konalang irerekta. Di ko naman nilalahat ang mga pari pero na off ako kase very rampant ang ganung scenario.

10% of my monthly salary. kaso iniisip ko kung pati ba sa narereceive kong allowance monthly na hindi kasabay ng sweldo eh magbibigay pa ako.kasi hindi naman sya part ng salary.

Kaya ang ginagawa ko yung 10% lang talaga ng salary ko monthly. binibigay ko sa office tapos binibigyan nila ko resibo. minsan pag binigay ko yung may kasamang prayers. i mean kunyari thanksgiving prayer tapos bahala na sila sa ikakaltas nila and yung sukli sinasabi ko donation ko na. magkano lang naman padasal 20 pesos lang naman. kung kunyari 2k ang binigay ko, sobra pa yung sukli na mapupunta sa church donation so sobra pa yung tithes ko.

Also may nabasa din ako, sabi, may ibang tao na hirap sa 10% na salary bibigay. sabi doon, as long as nagbibigay ka ng maluwang sa puso mo at hindi ka nahihirapan ok na yun. kasi ang tithes hindi ka dapat pinapahirapan at binibigyan ng problema. kaya kung halimbawa sa isang hindi naman kalakihan ang sweldo para buhayin ang isang malaki niyang pamilya(siguro best example eh yung mga less fortunate nating mga kababayan), ang mahalaga nagbibigay pa din kay lord. kagit hindi 10% basta hindi mabigat sa nagbibigay yung amount na binibigay niya.

pero siyempre case to case basis. Huwag naman sana utakan ng iba. may iba naman kasi nauubos sweldo kakabili ng mga kung [textspeak!] ano lang tapos sasabihin ang hirap mag tithing. eh hindi naman reasonable yun.

before sa Catholic Church i give only small amount like 20-50php lang every mass parang 1% lang ng salary ko kasi di ko pa totally naiintindihan ang tithing. When I attended Christian service, duon ako naliwanagan, so I am now trying to be faithful in giving my 10% as tithes. So far, di kami kinukulang ng hubby ko. I am catholic before and I can see na madami pumapasok na collections sa church pwera pa yung donations from politicians sa town namin.

My hubby is a born again Christian also but ewan ko ba ayaw na nya talagang mag-tithes (although when he was younger nagtitithes daw sya) , di naman daw kasi pera yung pinag-usapan sa old testament kundi yung produce ng mga crops and livestock, may mga carpenter and other laborers na that time pero walang nimention na salary (kanya to ha). Nung nagstop daw sya continue pa rin naman yung blessings and mas malaki pa nga raw.

Ako naman I'm a Catholic and I believe in charity kasi yun talaga yung inutos, feed the hungry, cloth the naked etc. kaya nag-iipon talaga ako for charities like sa home for the aged, GK, etc. Catholic church are also supporting a lot of charities.

^ i am seeing my parents giving 100-200 (every sunday) everytime we go to the church. ngayong may family na ako, ganun din 100-200 kapag maganda ganda
ang business. my dad gives a separate donation for the construction of the church

I used to give more than 10% of my gross income on top of my monthly pledge for the construction of a new church building. I stopped giving last year because I stopped attending. So, now that I'm trying to go to church regularly again, sana maibalik ko rin yung giving ko.

10% of my monthly salary. nung nasa catholic church pa ako i  rarely give as in barya barya lang talaga. hindi pa ako cheerful giver talaga dati. but when i went to attend to other church i started to learn and finally practice about tithings. hindi naman ako kinakapos. that's how the faith works. the Lord will always be there to provide our needs.

I tithe 20%. I promised God that when my earnings reach X amount, I would increase my tithing from 10% to 20%... and he delivered.

10% of our total income for the month + we give pledges pag may need ang church on top of our monthly 10%.
Actually, ito namang pagbibigay ng tithes is a covenant between my husband and I, and the Lord. He's been always faithful to us so we give him back a portion of His blessings para sa gawain nya.
We actually don't care saan man dalahin ng church ang money, so long as we know in our hearts na nagawa namin ang part namin to give back to the Lord.

Btw, we give every month. After sueldo. Itatabi namin agad the 10%-- yung pinaka-magandang money na malutong at walang lukot, secure it in an envelope and jot down sa labas:

"We love You, Lord God"
"We love You, Jesus Christ"
"We love You, Holy Spirit"

And God loves a cheerful giver, indeed!

Ako 10% of my gross monthly income ang binibigay ko sa church. In case meron akong mga bonuses, pati 10% din nun kasali.

When I was a kid, I used to see my mom give tithe pero hindi ko naintindihan what it was all about until I started practicing it. Dun ko lang din naintindihan yung sinabi nya na kahit nawalan sya ng pera for giving back to God, hindi sya macoconsider as a loss kasi mas malaki ang balik. From experience, napansin ko na when I started giving tithe eh parang hindi ako nauubusan lalo na in times na akala ko gipit na ako tapos mare-realize ko na lang na may nadudukot pa ako at hindi ko alam where it is actually from.

Now I'm happy to say na I am giving 10% of my monthly gross income. Dati kasi 10% of net income but when I started attending the Feast and I fully understand tithing I promised myself I will shift from net to gross income. I was really difficuly at first kasi dun sa 10% net income struggle na pero when I surrendered my finances to Him gumaan na loob ko sa tithing.  I agree with other sis na magaan ang finances nung magsimula ako magbigay ng tithes.

Magstart pa lang ako ng 10% from salary this sept. Napanood ko lang sa tv na dapat pala ganun.. Hehe.. Dapat gawin na kasi kelan pa gagawin.. Kaya kahit mabigat sakin at di naman malaki sweldo ko magbibigay na ko.. Sa maganda din naman mapupunta.. dati sa simbahan sa collections 20 lang binibigay ko.. Ngayon balak ko magbigay dun sa ministry na nagturo ng ganon tsaka dun sa simbahan na pinapagawa samen..
