How much do you give for the church?

Hi all, I'm always thinking if 50 to 100 peso every mass is enough for the church, My income is not stable and I can't average how much I earn through online and offline.

10% lang of my net monthly salary, plus 200 weekly. but it should be 10% my gross salary and minsan nakakalimutan ko mag deduct ng 10% sa kita ko sa sideline.

Catholic here.  Just wondering, to our sissies who give 10%, HOW is it done?
Naka-envelope ba to tapos binibigay sa church office (as in yung may receipt?) ?
Or binibigay as offering sa mass (as in yung hinuhulog)?
Every Sunday or every Sunday after payday?

I allocate 10% of my income for donations, charities and tithes. Yung sa ibang charities kasi, charged naman sa credit card (para di malimutan). So yung sa church, minsan kasi, nalilimutan ko mag-withdraw para ibigay kapag Sunday. Just wondering if may nag-iisue ng post dated checks para lang consistent at hindi malimutan.

What I do is I set aside 10% of my net salary every payday. And say, I'll be going to church 4 times within those days bago ako sumweldo ulit, I just divide the 10% into 4. Ganon lang.

naiisip ko nga din yan bihira ako makakita ng project for unfortunate puro para sa pagawa ng church luho ng simbahan pero wala man lang ata silang charity for poor

it's impossible na hindi itinutulong ng church yung pera na nakukuha nila lahat ng churches even sa catholic meron project at charity.

thanks sis yena, for clarification, malaki ang kita ng church, i remember that I pay 7 thousand for my wedding can't remember yung para sa binyag, sana nga lahat ng pera nadidistribute

madalas if yung pari nag-aask ng subrang abuloy para sa certain person who dealt treatment for cancer etc dinadagdagan ko madalas yung 2nd abuloy ito so dun nalang din ibinibigay yung 100 pesos , counted na din sana ito para kay God right?

Actually yung church natin is sa mga kasal, binyag, etc. lang kumikita kasi kahit maraming nagsisimba, di naman lahat nagbibigay at di naman tayo required magbigay during mass. Marami ding gastosin sa simbahan mismo for example yung kuryenti, maintenance (linis), pasweldo sa mga workers and of course pagkain ng mga priest, just imagine the gastos at kunti lang yung nagbibigay? Kaya bumabawi sila sa mga special events.

About yung bigay mo sis, don't stress so much kasi nga wala naman talagang standard as long as you give it with all your heart. Diba may parable tungkol dun sa mayaman at widow na nagbigay abuloy sa temple, mas important yung gaanu ka-genuine yung puso mo when you give your love offering.

iniisip ko din to.. dba what really matters is kung ano lang ang kaya mong ibigay kung di kaya ibigay ang ikapu, lets say, sakto lang or kulang pa yung income mo.. bad na ba yung ganun?

sis, want to start giving 10% kasi.. so sa net pala magbe base? sample, if your net is 10k, so 1k is divided into 4, kung 4 times ka mag church. Pwede rin ba let say half nung 1k sa church, half sa charity? san pa ba pwede ibigay other than church?

Tithes....although I am a fresh grad and my work is not yet stable...I see to it to give back to the lord. Amazingly, he never lets me run out of blessings. Alam mo yun, If you wholeheartedly give to him, he gives it back a thousand folds

If you have seen in your very own eyes how majority of Catholic priest spends and uses the hard earned money na they collect sa mga members mas mabuti pang sa private organization ka na lang magbigay than sa church

^hindi naman lahat ganyan so nagbibigay pa din ako pero hindi ako malaki magbigay sa simbahan. minsan nga 20-50 lang. sinasabi ko na lang ibabalik ko na lang through service as in sa choir. bukod sa charities or projects or organization na tinutulungan, kailangan din nila yun kasi pag maintain nang simbahan. nagbabayad pa din naman sila nang kuryente, tubig, etc.

Annually, after ng appraisal namin ni hubby, we decide kung how much ang handog namin. We go to church twice a week, fixed amount  ang offering namin. We support our Church foundation.

We also allot for yearly Thanksgiving.

If we think of the amount, it's not much compared to around 85% that's left to us. =)

mayaman ang catholic chruch billions ang pera & isa sa top 10 na investor ng BPI. http://www.pinoymoneytalk.com/church-philippines-rich-wealth-stocks/                                           Sana kapag mahirap ang tao free na walang bayad ang binyag & pa bless sa patay pero nagpapabayad parin sila.Against sila sa RH bill sana sa dami ng pera ng catholic chruch pakainin nila & bigyan ng scholarship sa mga catholic schools ang mga bata galing sa malaking family. remember TAX FREE pa mga simbahan.ok lang against ka sa RH bill/ family planning kung tutulong ka sa mga maraming anak sabi nga mag pari magparami ang mga tao pero di naman sila tumutulomg sa mga mahihirap.mayroon sila charity pero kaunti lang compared mo sa pera nila sa interest palang ng billions nilang pera marami na silang matutulungan kung gusto nila. .mas mabuti pang mag donate sa 700CLUBASIA  mapanood mo sa tv lahat ng nacollect nilang donations may sumarry & talagang tumutulong sila pinapakita nila saan napupunta ang mga donations.
