We've been together for 8 years before we tied the knot. We're 5 mos married as of this writing. We made sure kasi na before we get married, we are ready in all aspects - spiritually, emotionally and financially. And things will just fall beautifully into place.
took 12 years before hubby and I got married :)

we took the time to grow individually beside each other. Excelled in our chosen career while supporting each other. Saved up for our future and then tied the knot!   No regrets :)

we were in a long term relationship for 8years before I found out about his shenanigans and we now have a 1 year old baby boy. I was really disappointed with him. I am having second thoughts in marrying him. I am somehow contented that he is a good dad and responsible parent to my son. So yep, its not really about how long you have been together, but the quality of the relationship and the respect that you have for each other.

I guess, sabi nga nila pag may bumitaw eh wala na talaga yung relationship, and in our case, so far, amidst all his wrong doings..mine as well.. We never really given up that's why we are still together. :)

Hi sisses!, we're together for 8 years, got engaged last june and will get married next year! :) being in a long term relationship takes a lot of hardwork and sacrifices for both.

Agree to this. Sakin nga 10 years pa kami. I thought he respects women and so did my friends. Little did I (or we) know he can change. Parang nasa loob pala yung kulo.

After 10 years of marriage, di ko na talaga Ma take. Basta daw di daw sya makikipaghiwalay at di daw sya ang magiging cause ng breakup namin. Yeah right! Natural at happy happy sya nambababae while keeping the marriage. It was torturous for me. So I let go, despite the 10 year courtship and another 10 years of suffering (while married)

^ well, yes even more than that.
We were childhood sweethearts. We knew each other before naging kami.

But people change. So there.

Yeah, it?s up to the couple kelan nila balak ikasal.

I noticed couples who are in long term relationships nagiging magkamukha at hawig na. They can finish each other?s sandwiches, este sentences. Sabagay pwede din sandwiches.
They do things for each other, sometimes unconsciously. They don?t even notice it themselves kasi nakasanayan or habit na, pero others do.

Kaya you can tell based from a couple?s interaction towards each other if their long term relationship is solid or in that comfortable stage, or on the rocks.

Those in a good and loving long term relationship?
Cheers! 😊

9 years and counting.

I have learned that when you are in a long term relationship, it can get mundane and you will be tempted to think na Baka hindi niyo na love and isa't-isa. When that happens, my SO and I talk about our happy, embarrassing, funny moments together. It helps us a lot.  :)
