We've been together for 8 years before we tied the knot. We're 5 mos married as of this writing. We made sure kasi na before we get married, we are ready in all aspects - spiritually, emotionally and financially. And things will just fall beautifully into place.
took 12 years before hubby and I got married we took the time to grow individually beside each other. Excelled in our chosen career while supporting each other. Saved up for our future and then tied the knot! No regrets
So yep, its not really about how long you have been together, but the quality of the relationship and the respect that you have for each other.
I guess, sabi nga nila pag may bumitaw eh wala na talaga yung relationship, and in our case, so far, amidst all his wrong doings..mine as well.. We never really given up that's why we are still together.
Agree to this. Sakin nga 10 years pa kami. I thought he respects women and so did my friends. Little did I (or we) know he can change. Parang nasa loob pala yung kulo. Kung kelan kami kasal na tsaka sya nagloko. Well samin ng ex ko na ayaw bumitaw, ako ang bumitaw. After 10 years of marriage, di ko na talaga Ma take. Basta daw di daw sya makikipaghiwalay at di daw sya ang magiging cause ng breakup namin. Yeah right! Natural at happy happy sya nambababae while keeping the marriage. Sino ba naman ang di susuko sa ganung setup. It was torturous for me. So I let go, despite the 10 year courtship and another 10 years of suffering (while married)
^ well, yes even more than that. We were childhood sweethearts. We knew each other before naging kami. But people change. So there.
