For my daughter's binyag, my pakulo naman was matching outfits for the baby and her older sister. :-) Si Mommy of course color-coordinated din - yellow and gray. :-)

We got Lacto Photo's services. Instead of only 1, 3 photographers turned up as they were available and free sked nila.

We're finally done with my Sandro's baptismal last September 07, 2013. Originally I want Sunday sana but since it's Mama Mary's birthday, wala kaming nakuha na slot for solo baptism, the one he wore was personally made by my second daughter.

Theme: Nautical (blue, red and white)
Guests: 80 adults and 25 kids
Church: San Agustin Church, Intramuros
Venue: Realship Events Place and Yacht Rentals, CCP Bay Complex
Styling and conceptualization: Alice's Wonderland (Bambi Hernandez)

ladies, ano suot ng babies nyo before the actual baptism? Kasi sa SSA, yun baptismal gown kelangan susuotin lang during the rites na...

nakaslip lang ba si baby before the baptism tapos ipapatong na lang yun gown?
or kahit anong damit (dress, onesie or whatever) tapos maghuhubaran pa ng damit during the rites para masuot yun gown?  parang ang hirap naman nito

I'm confused... di ko alam anong sistema nyan

gusto ko kasi marami kami pictures sa preps palang... so di ko type kung nakaslip lang si baby... ok lang na bumili kami ng separate dress kaso yun nga, kung huhubarin pa sa mismong ceremony, parang pahirapan? Pero kung ganito talaga ang ginagawa at ok lang magpalitan ng damit, edi go

i am sorry sis, yung baptismal gown isusuot during the rites na mismo? i've never encountered that sa baptism ng daughter ko,
ang alam ko na isusuot lang during the rites is yung pang takip sa ulo i forgot what it is called. baka naman sis yun yung sinasabi nila,
naalala ko daughter ko nakasuot na ng pang baptismal nung dinala namin sa church pero yung tinatakip sa ulo hindi pa muna..

you might want to check it with SSA. or baka nag iba na ng procedure ngayon. pahirapan talaga yun if dun pa bibihisan while doing the baptismal rites diba?

3. At the beginning of the ceremony, the child will wear first his/her ordinary clothing(under-shirt). The parent will put the (white) Baptismal garment on thechild only at the “Clothing with baptismal garment” rite. Clothing of baptismal garment is part of the ceremony. (Please see page 13 of the Baptism handbook. Provide your own white baptismal garment).

plan namin pabinyagan baby namin jan sa 'Pinas by January either 4th or 5th.

gusto sana namin January 4 (saturday) kaso di daw nagbibinyag ng saturday sa st peregrine. sa muntinlupa kasi kami eh. di ko lang alam kung pwede kami check sa ibang parish. otherwise no choice mass binyag ng January 5.

naghahanap din kami ng venue for the reception. baka nama merong may alam sa inyo last option ko na kasi ang resto if wala talaga makuha venue. any idea rin ba if nagki-cater ang queensland sa south area?

@oreo08 Hi sis! Sa SSA kami nagpabinyag. Yes, ganun nga ang policy nila. Di muna nakasuot yung baptismal gown. May handbook bang nabigay sayo nung nagpay ka? Makikita mo dun yung part na "Clothing of Baptismal Garment", and I think pati yung explanation. Nagworry din ako dati kung ano ipapasuot ko kay baby. Actually, kahit ano pwede. If may budget pa, I suggest buy another dress. Kahit simple and white lang. Si baby girl ko, nakafloral dress muna sya. If nagwoworry ka na pahirapan isuot, yes. Pahirapan nga isuot, kasi nakatayo. Nung kami kasi, hubby ko may buhat kay baby girl. Tapos nung clothing na, ako yung nagsusuot ng damit. Natagalan bago isuot, pero hihintayin naman ni Father. So di naman dagdag stress. I actually liked that part.

^yikes... mahirap nga yata maghubad pa ng damit si baby tapos isuot yun baptismal gown nya. Although 6 months na rin sya nun... I rang SSA before and I asked kung kelangan ba talaga white, kasi pina ang gagamitin na tela para sa gown ng baby ko... eh hindi naman white yun. Sabi nila, ok naman daw yun. So at least kahit yun medyo napagbigyan.

Bibili talaga kami ng dress for her especially sa reception nya so mukhang 2 ang kelangan bilhin namin ngayon - 1 before the ceremony and 1 for the reception. Pero sayang yun baptismal gown... gusto ko ipasuot sa kanya yun as long as possible dahil yan talaga pinagkagastusan namin at kina-arte arte ko

^oreo08 hala oo nga. hassle nga yan.. pero bilhin mo nalang na dress yung mabilis masuot or like what you said yung pang undergarment nalang
kawawa naman si baby kapag maiistorbo kakabihis, babies pa naman mabilis mairita. baka mawala siya sa mood.

mga sis sa pilipinas ba may mga church na pumapayag ng solo baptism? i mean yung walang kasabay na ibang babies na bibinyagan?
mas makakamura kase ako kung sa pinas kame mag papabinyag, mas marami pang relatives na makaka attend,,,

^that's the same reason why we're having my daughter's baptism in the Philippines - gusto ko solo baptism!

^^ Yes, merong solo baptism sa ibang mga churches. We had a solo baptism at San Agustin Church last week.

hi sissies! please help me naman. baptism ni baby ko sa october 13th but until now wala ako mahanap na priest. solo baptism kc sya at mary the queen greenhills. nasa province na yung nagbinyag dati sa eldest ko and wala rin kilala na pwede. please pm me naman if you know someone that i could contact. thank you in advance

di daw nag sosolo baptism sa st. peregrine:( pati sa our lady of abandoned church sa muntinlupa kaya kahit gusto namin january 4 ang binyag eh mukhang magiging january 5 na nga kasi sunday baptism lang talaga ang meron. kaso january 5 ang caterer na gusto sana namin di naman available na, pati venues na pinagpipilian puro di na available. di naman daw pwedeng di sa area kung saan ka sakop magpa binyag. ngayon still looking for caterer. may pinareserve na ang magiging kumare ko ng venue for reception, sa may filinvest alabang. peak season daw kasi ang date na napili namin for binyag kaya lagi halos fully booked na ang suppliers.

i just inquired sa st jerome in alabang hindi na daw sila tumatanggap ng hindi taga-alabang.
same with st james in ayala alabang. is this true for all? taga-laguna kami
