My dad's way of saying sorry is when he cooks your favorite food. You know you have to talk to him na. :D I find it sweet and sincere. :)

Hindi nagso-sorry kundi pilit lang if someone say so and it doesn't sound sincere. ???

Different dads have different ways of dealing with their children. Some of you might not feel that your dad is concerned about your feelings but if you look close enough, you'll see that they make up in various subtle ways... ;)

My dad's a tough one pero what I like about him is that he knows when he has committed a mistake. Sobrang konti lang ng kilala kong guys na marunong mag-apologize and my dad's one of them :) Isang tingin lang ni daddy takot na kami ng sister ko lalo nung bata pa kami pero he don't mind admitting mistakes and nag-sosorry naman sya plus he says "I love you" to us until now na malaki na kami. My dad's a tough charmer haha :P I love you dad!

No, he doesn't but dinadaan niya sa action, like cooking my favorite meal. I think it's not really purely pride that's stopping him from saying the words. May halong uncertainty din about what to do. Kasi usually siya naman unang nag-ri-reach out. Di niya ko matiis hehe.

If you want your dad to say sorry to you, you also have to be able to say sorry to him. Sometimes fathers have a hard time showing their sensitive side. If you feel like he doesn't care at all, I suggest you tell him that honestly. Be open to him, after all, he is your dad right? Someone suggested that I show this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jzGgZj6hjw&feature=youtu.be) to my husband but when I watched it, I suddenly missed my dad. When I was younger, he also wasn't the type who said sorry whenever he did something wrong BUT I told him that when I was in college and I think he became more sensitive after that talk of ours. Try talking communicating with your dads, girls. :)

I think, for a lot of girls experiencing this problem, the advice above is so much easier said than done. But I do agree that girls just have to be honest to their dads (and moms, too). ;)

When I was younger nagso-sorry siya pag maliit na bagay, yung pa-cute pa na sorry. But now the way he says sorry is by buying our favorite food. It's sweet but sad at the same time, kasi we've grown apart habang tumanda ako and sometimes yung dinadala niya na food fave ko when I was a kid, di na ngayon. So sweet kasi he remembers them, sad kasi nareremind ako di na kami ganon ka-close.

my dad never say he's sorry. pitpitin mo man ng martilyo daliri nya, hinde yan maga-apologize. you can just tell that he accept his defeat kapag he treats you extra nice or gives you bigla-bigla ng load at gifts for no reason. yun, ganun siya magpakita ng apology niya, pero hindi niya yun sasabihin verbally.

Never. He doesn't even say Thank you, or Please. :(
