Nagmove yung teeth ko kasi hindi nagamit ng tama ang retainers, balik braces ako sis.  Pero nag-change na ako ng ortho, kasi masfriendly, todo explain sa questions ko and accessible clinic niya.

Mga sis, meron ba kayong masa-suggest na affordable orthodontist sa bandang Las Pinas or Paranaque area?

Yung ortho namin sa alabang and las pinas. They have an fb page. Search mo DMKB dental clinic. Very accommodating sila. Husband and wife sila. Si dra. Vicky yung ortho and yung husband niya cosmetic naman.

nagbraces ako for 18months kase I forced my dentist to put me on powerchain and I said
I'll endure the pain. ayoko magbraces for 3 years WTH hahaha so I forced her to put me on
consecutive powerchain!

and she never mentioned na I needed to visit her every month, sabi lang niya if super loose nalang
daw. and I just tighten it naman and move it around. so far so good paman..

Sis ang sakit niyan. hehe diet galore ka niyan for sure. Way back nilagyan din ako ng ganyan pero strickly adviced me na bumalik after 3 or 4 weeks para ma rubber change agad ako or ma subaybayan daw niya yung movement. Possible daw kasi sumobra yung movement or mag ugaan daw yung ipin ko ng sobra. She explained all the pros and cons nung power chain. Case to case basis nga daw ang mga yan. Kasi yung sister ko naman aside sa rubber sa wire may rubber elastic pa siya na sinusuot yung parang rubber band na ka cross sa upper at lower teeth niya. hehe ako naman di ako nag suot ng ganun.

8th adjustment ko last sat, pain lasted for 2 days and more than the first time.
parang mas makapal na wire ang nakalagay ngayon. tiis gandara parks lang.

Sa Dentalign sa qc ako nagpa braces, ceramics pinakabit ko. Always ask kung graduate ba ng ortho. Di lahat ng dentist nag aral ng ortho, yung iba nagpaturo lang or nagseminar lang pala. Sa case ko 6 months lang naayos na, every 2 weeks adjustment ko.

Hello! Pa-join po hehe meron po ba kayo masasuggest sakin na affordable ortho dito lang sa makati? Yung 30-35k po package tapos 5k-10k lang ang dp up and down na.  Teenager palang naman po ako and sabi sakin nung friend ko na may braces, metal braces daw po ang ikakabit if you're below 18. Totoo po ba yun? Underbite po ako, so di talaga maka-smile na labas ang teeth

For me, I'm not looking for a super friendly dentist/ ortho.  What's important is he/ she gets to answer my questions and concerns, and maganda ang feedback niya.  My sister was the one who introduced me sa ortho ko, I don't know how she researched the ortho pero magaling talaga siya.  This is my second time to have braces and nag pantay talaga. 

Surprisingly nag iiba ang shape ng face sa braces, and iba pala talaga kung symmetrical na.

Imprettyme, pinaka mahirap na case for braces ang underbite. The ortho would charge you more than your budget.

^^ true sis. My dentist is "friendly" pero walang kwenta ang quality ng work nya. Hindi  worth it yung binayad ko sa kanya.

I have a prospect ortho. Pero sabi nya against the law daw yung nag transfer ng orthro unless namatay ornag move to another country yung dentist. Sayang gusto ko pa naman sya.

Na.ppissed off kasi ako sa current dentist ko. Wala akong gana pumunta kasi ayoko syang makita. Mukha kasi syang pera and does not address my questions/concerns well. Kainis!

due to my TMD, need to wear braces and jaw positioner at the same time..eto po ang concerns ko:

 1. my ortho charged me 70K for braces, metal brackets po, 20K ang DP ko, the 50K balance is payable in 18mos.(PDC), ok ba yun? sabi nya antipolo rate yun, pero sa marikina clinic nila ako nagpunta.

2. purely brackets lang [textspeak!] 70K, included na ba dapat yung mga wires, elastics, etc. na gagamitin for monthly adjustment?

3. cleaning, pasta, extractions, surgery, pati nga pla molar band hindi daw kasama sa 70K

4. yung ortho kit daw eh P1,900?ganun ba talaga kamahal un?

5. ano pa ba posible kong ma encounter na gastusin?

overbite ako aside from having tmj dysfunction, 35 y.o na ko..

^sis @bjgem, regarding ortho kit, as far as I know, usually, ang laman lang niyan is yung ortho toothbrush ( which never akong gumamit), interdental brushes, wax, floss and other panglinis. parang imposibleng umabot ng 1900 yan. sa Quiapo lang ako bumibili ng mga ganyan ko e.


^^sis @artificialstar, depende siguro talaga sa ortho. maybe ayaw niyang tumanggap para wala talagang problema.

^ganyan din laman ng ortho kit ko, hindi ko rin nagamit. P1700 naman sakin, pero kasama na dun yung pictures and xray.

Wala akong ortho kit and was never forced to get one, I use din waterpik even before pa mag-braces.  Yung interdental brushes and wax binigay for free, kasi I asked after 2 months of wearing braces if I can buy it individually. Pero di na pinabayaran, bigay lang din daw ng agents, hehe.

^^^ Yung rate ng ortho mo parang same sa mall clinics 70-100k.  Try mo muna search sa Google sis kung maganda feedback niya, or pa assess ka muna sa ibang ortho in Marikina area.

I suggest that you go to Quiapo. may mga bilihan ng dental stuff dun. and nagulat ako sa price.
