Sis isang tanong na lang you need to open a MB account muna tapos yung top up online na tama ba?

Sa mga gusto mag-invest, as everybody have said, the best time to invest is always NOW :)

^ hahaha. Hindi ako expert sa investments like mutual funds, but ang nababasa ko and what my husband told me, it is really hard to predict when the navps will go down. So if you have the excess money to invest, you can add, top up, and just do averaging of your investments. Keysa magantay kung kelan bumaba while your excess funds natutulog lang.  For the longest time (as in more than 5 years na), nasa savings lang lahat.  Kasi very conservative ako. So now, some of them im starting to invest on a regular basis.  Target ko is monthly (or at most every 15 days).  But i will still leave some in my savings account.  I dont want to put all my eggs in one basket. :)

Surprising daw ang increase ng NAVPS ngayon. Kasi not in line with stocks performance.

What most people do is do Money Cost Averaging. Top up lang ng regular basis, regardless kung mataas or mababa ang NAVPS. In that way, di mo na kelangan hulaan ang pagbaba ng NAVPS.

Re: Savings. It is not advisable to put all of your money into investments, since ang investments ay di gamit for immediate financial needs natin. An emergency fund should always be in a bank, or in a much much conservative investment instrument like Money Market Funds.

I do have ALFM. Ito ang pinaka-convenient para sa akin. Online ang top-ups at redeem if you have bpi express online account.

Tumpak! :)  ginawa ko yan nung una paano ba naman i started at 3.9 na rate tapos nag 4.2 sabi ko mag 4 ka lang tatop up ako di naman nangyari, nangyari man nung time na di ki nabantayan, kakasama lang loob.. So pag may extra top up :)

An indicator that the Central Bank is encouraging everyone to invest and support the rally of the stock market.

I just received my SOA and COR from FAMI. Question, ano ang gagamitin kong reference number pag gusto ko magdeposit ulit - yung account number or COR number?

Then pag bumaba tsaka ako tatabling para mag top up ulit ;D

agree sis! ako din nagcocost averaging ako regularly...di ko na inaambisyong maka-timing kasi mahirap yung gawin...basta hulog lang nang hulog hangga't kaya :-) kasi in the long run panalo ang regularly nagiinvest kesa dun sa nakatunganga waiting for the prices to go down.
