agree sis! ako din nagcocost averaging ako regularly...di ko na inaambisyong maka-timing kasi mahirap yung gawin...basta hulog lang nang hulog hangga't kaya :-) kasi in the long run panalo ang regularly nagiinvest kesa dun sa nakatunganga waiting for the prices to go down.

mga sis, for FAMI, is there a way to know how much na yung na-earn ng investment nyo? or kahit computation lang? hehe

On your confirmation form, simply do this:

Number of shares x Price per share = Value of Investment


This is normally lower than your deposited amount since FAMI charges 2% as service charge for investments lower than 100K.

Next, go to any of the following links depending on the type of investment account you have

EQUITY FUND
BALANCED FUND
FIXED INCOME FUND

The current price per share is shown beside the name of the fund.  Now, just multiply the price of the fund with the number of shares that you have.

Compare.

Latest price should be higher than your investment price to know that you indeed gain.

Supposed to be maximum lead time is 30 business days eh.. pero on my part, within 7 days, nakuha ko na..

Pero pwede ka naman humingi ng softcopy ng SOA sa kanila just to confirm na pumasok nga yung investment mo.

hi mga sis. tingin niyo ba ok mag invest ngayon sa fami? medyo mataas pa kasi navps niya eh. papataas kaya ang trend ngayon? plan ko na sana mag invest. humahanap lang ng tamang timing. hehe.

^if you're planning to invest regularly then it's a yes. Also, the best time to start investing is always now.

^correct, best time is now! nagplace ako ng invetsment sa Philam Strategic Growth Fund nung January 10. NAVPS that time was P520.80. but sabi ni agent, wait na lang muna daw for correction as advised by their management  bago ipasok. kaka-wait, kamusta naman upswing trend na tas naipasok, February 7 na, with NAVPS P559.45. sayang diva?

sa FAMI ko kasi balak mag invest mga sis. naghehesitate pa ko kasi madami din reklamo sa customer service ng FAMI. eh first time ko kasing mag iinvest eh. i'm 20 years old. since ok naman ang sweldo ko, i'm planning to put about 10% ng monthly ko into MF. tapos 60% sa savings account sa afsplai which yields 18% interest per annum.

^sis you might want to check UITFs din, it's the same as mutual funds kaya lang banks yung nagmamanage ng funds. Kudos to you sis, ang bata mo pa but you're already investing.

^thanks sis. siguro kasi i've gotten over extreme paggastos and shopping during my undergrad. noon kasi hingi lang sa parents tapos may instant money na. haha. eh ngayon na sariling pera ko na, parang nanghihinayang na ko. haha. kaya ayon, gusto ko sana mapalago ko yung pinagtatrabahuhan ko. sorry. off topic na bigla. haha.

eto para on-topic. so basically pag sa FAMI, punta lang sa metrobank account nila tapos dedeposit lang sa account nila right? do i need to set up a metrobank savings account pa mga sis?

hindi required to open a Metrobank account. pero for convenience na rin, ok to have one para pag nag-place ka ng additional investment, thru Metrobank direct lang. then email mo lang sila kada transaction.

I find it amusing that you automatically thought
that username was referring to the SALEF(Equity)
when FAMI has multiple funds.

Just had may investment today. Kaya lang deposit slip na lang ang document ko. Sila na daw bahala magpouch. Ano i-email ko sa FAMI ngayon? okay lang ba yung deposit slip lang?

Gano kaya katagal before ko mareceive yung COR? HELP!
