ano tip para mamaintain ang milk.... nakakatuwa nga mag electric pump dating umaabot ng almost an hour each pumping session ko ngayon 10-15 mins na lang.... ubos na ubos pa yung milk ko...

grabe nga lang talaga required milk ni baby.... nakakaproduce pa lang ako ngayon ng milk ng 1-2.5 oz per session ko pero at least 2 oz bago siya mabusog.... e may mga times na 1 oz lang napoproduce ko so magtitimpla kami ng formula

ok gamitin yung spectra 350 di nga lang siya direct compatible with avent bottles so tinatransfer pa namin...

Hello! For working and pumping mommies here, may I ask what cooler bag do you use to store your milk and breast pump?

I'm interested in mamabella Autumnz Cooler bags but I'm not sure if theyre matibay and I find it a bit expensive. I also read igloo and lock n lock also have it.

mathet - sis ako i drink plenty of water lang. actually, siguro established narin ang supply ko. kasi wala din ako supplements. and kahit puyat ako, nakaka 9oz ako or 11 kada pump. minsan naman 6oz. siguro naka tulong yung on the dot ko na pag pump every 2-3 hours. kasi ako dati nagising pa talaga ako just to pump. pero ngayon, minsan 6 hours ako di nakakapagpump, yun nga lang, super laki ng breasts ko. punong puno na. hehe!

aceofhearts - ako sis, yung gamit ko lang is cooler pouch yung tig 350 from babymama. so far okay naman sya for me. nakakauwi ako ng 4 bottles para kay baby from work. kasya pa dun yung 2 blue ice. gusto ko rin sana bumili ng cooler bags from mamabella, kaso ang laki eh. ayaw ko magbitbit ng madami. hehe!

Anyway, for those who owns Medela Pump in Style advanced, when you pump meron ba talaga yung parang hangin na sound from the motor?Hubby cleaned the motor kasi and he removed the face plate, worry namin baka nagalaw or di nabalik ng maayos.

I'm planning to get the Medela Swing Maxi and I know it comes with two storage bottles. I've purchased an additional 6 storage bottles from Amazon - do you think this is enough to cover a day's worth of pumping without having to sterilize? I'm thinking kasi I will use two bottles each pumping session, so my bottles will only cover 4 sessions then I have to sterilize. I don't want to sterilize 3 times a day. Should I buy more storage bottles? How many do you mommies have?

^ that should be enough sis. I only have 6 Medela bottles nga e. For storage kasi, I transfer the milk to storage bags or to other containers kasi I freeze my BM. I usually have only 2 bottles na nasa ref na me milk, then the 4 bottles, I use for pumping during the day.

I pump 3x a day lang - mid-morning, afternoon, and late-evening after baby falls asleep. She breastfeeds directly before sleeping at night, in-between sleeps during the night (she wakes up after 5-6hrs, then every 2-3hrs after), and paggising sa morning. During the day, the yaya feeds her my BM in a bottle. Minsan, me nasisingit na direct feeding during the day.

^do you sterilize the bottles after you've transferred the milk?

^ yes, of course. The bottles are washed and sterilized after each use. Usually, the helper washes it right after I pump. Then sterilized later on in the day, along with the feeding bottles, etc.

^so you're 4 bottles can last you thru the 3 pumpings you do a day? Maybe you're using a single pump lang? I plan on buying a dual pump kasi and pump every 2-3 hours so that's 8-12 sessions a day, at 2 bottles per pumping I'll have to sterilize 2-3x a day.

mga sis how about yung flanges? you sterilize it every after use?

Ako i do since i pump once or twice lang in a day. But ive read that you can put the flanges inside the ref if you will pump a couple of hours after you first pumped then wash and sterilize after.

^ that's what i do din sis, lagay ko muna sa ref yung flanges, minsan kasi nakakatamad mag hugas ng pump after using e. hehe

anyway, sa akin, hinuhugasan ni helper yung flanges after every use and sini-sterilize din. I didn't know na pwede pala na I-ref na lang muna yung flanges. I might start doing that starting tomorrow, hehe.. so pati yung shield, yung nagta-touch sa boobies mismo, ire-ref lang din? E di medyo malamig sya paglapat sa boobs on the next use?

yup sis, ako kapag madaling araw ganyan gawain ko. minsan kasi nakakatamad talaga hugas kapag madaling araw.
sepaking of malamig na flanges, ako naaliw ako sa ganun, parang i find it comfortable. hehe!

hehe... oo nga mga sis nakakatamad maghugas ng flanges then sterilize... wala pa kaming yayay kasi hirap din maghanap...

anak na kasi natin babantayan niya kaya maingat kami maghanap....

anyways may user ba dito ng manual pump ng spectra? parang yun kasi gusto kong next bilhin mas convenient kasi kahit saan pwede and di bulky.... kung may comparison sana kung gano katagal magpump compared to double electric...

buti ka pa sis katrina sipag mo magpump ako kasi [textspeak!] madaling araw di nakakapag pump .normally 6 hours straight di talaga ako nagigising.... duty kasi ni hubby yun e... ayun formula si baby ng madaling araw...

mathet - actually sis nung naka mat leave pa ako, sobrang hirap na hirap ako gumising ng madaling araw para lang mag pump. minsan nakakatamad na, but since para kay baby naman, sacrifice talaga. Pero now na back to work na ako, and pang gabi ako - mas madali na for me. yun nga lang, kabaliktaran naman. kapag tanghali while tulog ako nahihirapan. haha! kasi kapag mahimbing na tulog ko, tapos need ko na gumising para mag pump, hirap na ako ulit mag sleep.

but we have a business in our house so you really cant resist na tumulong kay hubby....

hopefully dumami na din milk ko... yp to now i havent got a day na di kami nagformula kapag wala na kong stock na BM, but dati nana 3 to four times kami nagtitimpla ng 2 oz ng formula pero now... halos laging 2x na lang

sana dumami na din milk ko that it will be enough na for baby for the day.
