Hi guys what are the qualifications needed to be able to work as an operations manager in a bpo company? I was a manager before in a fashion retail company and i tried to apply as Operations Manager in concentrix, teleperformance, aspire, so far didnt get any calls yet from them. Do you really need to have an experience working in a bpo company? Also do you need to have a 6-sigma certification?

Hey sissies! How's your shift?

Been with the BPO industry for almost 3 years now. I love having a night shift since there's less traffic plus the night diff ;) Sanay na akong gising sa gabi/medaling araw at tulog sa umaga lol

pumirmi muna ako sa family business while doing freelancing on the side. pay isn't anywhere near what i used to get as an agent pero getting away from all the BS i've put myself through out in that LOB is what made my decision very rewarding kasi i can now get to do what i really like.

 ;D

^um, no idea ako sa mga groups na yan. Last time i joined call center groups like that was years ago pero puro piratahan lang makikita mo tsaka mga job openings kuno. Different companies but same sh!t.

hindi ko alam yang mga groups na yan ah, ano meron jan?

i guess perks nadin ng pagiging Quality Analyst is you can manage your time, unlike pag TL ka na need parati as floor support

puro call center agents din sila. well maintained naman yung fb group they don't allow job posting sa wall kasi kaya nga may files tab. they also do eyeball and christmas party then for a casue yung ginagawa nila. the last time i know yung christmas party is my ticket and the funds went to tahanang walang hagdan.

^as usual, call centers always love to put on a show. It only serves a single purpose lang naman, para makita ng iba na its more fun and meaningful to be with their company - subtle attempt at recruiting people, or should i say, pirating agents to jump over the fence. A person's gotta be naive to not sense that lalo na yung mga "vets"  ;D

^call centers are always on the lookout for fresh meat kaya nga laging headliners ngayon ang "up to XXK" salary so kung t**** ang babasa (which is most of the time) talagang ma-entice ka talaga to apply. Pag ramping up it means mataas ang attrition at madaming umaalis so like i said, only the naive ones gets fooled pero yung matatagal na sa industry would know how to find and pick the suitable one for them.

Just last year nung in-update ko lang cv ko sa mga jobsites to include my experience abroad, sunod sunod mga job interview invites na nakukuha ko. Even up to this day nangungulit pa rin ang ibang kilalang BPO sa kin, which, I just ignore most of the time.  :D
