I just gave birth last week at St Lukes Global City? I am very satisfied with their service.
We didn't get a package cause we wanted to have a private room. Ang kaso, all private rooms were taken! Ang dami nanganak nung time ko - so we were placed in a semi-private room temporarily until may ma-free na private room. Medyo nahirapan kami sa semi-private kasi malakas umiyak yung baby nung kasama namin sa room tapos may mga visitors pa sila. Medyo 'lugi' kami kasi 3 lang kami (me, hubby, baby) tapos bihira pa umiyak si baby. Buti nalang din, na-discharge sila late that night so overnight, wala kami ibang kasama. The next day, we were moved na to a regular private room. Another thing is, mahirap for the companion to sleep sa semi-private - unless sanay sya matulog sa chair (may armrest naman).
Around 130-140k don is sa professional fees.
And hindi ako hirap pag-uwi.
Tip lang for those considering St Lukes Global. Naka-room-in kasi yung baby so parang self-service don. Although, you can always call your bedside nurse for assistance. Pero mas-okay sya for 2nd time moms kasi wala ka na takot to handle the baby - unless you have your mom (or experienced yaya or hubby) there with you who can help you throughout. Kasi if for example, feeding, ikaw na bahala don. Diskarte mo na yung timing. The nurses will ask you when the last feeding was, nag-wiwi or pupu na ba. Pero yung pagkuha ng baby from the bassinet to feed, etc, you really need help from your hubby or mom or yaya. Nung first night na puyat na puyat si hubby, pinag-rest ko muna sya so panay tawag ko sa bedside nurse para lang dalhin and i-latch sa akin si baby. Sila din pinagch-change ko ng diaper and clean the belly button kasi hindi yon kaya ng hubby ko. Hehe.
Every few hours naman bibisita yung nurses. To check vitals of the baby and mommy and to give meds (painkillers for me). May pupunta din na aide to bathe the baby. So madami ka din matututunan kasi they will do all those right in front of you. Sa first born ko kasi, i didn't know na kelangan pala i-maintain ang body temp ng baby between 36.5-37.2. Wala kaming ganun before kasi nasa nursery lang yung baby. Too late na.
As I've said, self-service. So you have to bring your own diapers, feminine wash, maternity pads/overnight pads, baby wash, cotton, baby wipes, alcohol, baby clothes, mittens, bonnet, booties, swaddle/flannel blanket, baby towel, etc. experienced mom na ako and i anticipated this na kasi my friend gave birth sa st lukes din so kahit papano prepared kami with all the things.
Another thing is sinulit ko yung lactation nurse don. May mga times kasi tulog lang ng tulog si baby, like 5-6 hours na walang feeding, tapos di namin mapilit, so i usually call them to help kasi gusto or i felt the need to feed the baby na. So gigisingin nila si baby, give you techniques then help ka nila i-latch pa. Sometimes, andon pa sya throughout the feeding kasi tuturuan ka din sa proper way to burp the baby. Basta, madami ako kwentuhan with the nurses and doctors so madami ako natutunan and nabaon na tips pag-uwi. Refresher course sya sa kin kasi 6yrs ago pa yung first born ko tapos may midwife ako the first month to help me kaya di din ako talaga marunong mag-alaga ng baby non.

. Nagkaron kasi ako ng confidence in taking care of the baby because of all the things i've learned from the hospital.
Yun lang. Sorry napahaba ang post ko. Just sharing my experience.
