i already submitted all required docs sa migration agent yesterday for a 457 visa for dependent. like how long ang processing? sabi kasi nung 1 staff dun 3 months which is parang di naman totoo kasi it took 3 mins pa to tell me the answer may kung ano ano pa siya hinanap for reference...mukhang siya hindi rin sigurado....thanks

Sisses, pede na bang hand carry lang and NO checkin baggage for 1 week stay in Au? Kaya na ba yung 7kgs for that? Will be in Melbourne on Oct 26 and di pa ko makapagdecide kung kelangan ko ba mag add ng checkin baggage.

hi mga sis. may mga nakapag-apply na ba ng visa after march? does it really take 1 month? ano yung fastest way to apply? may advantage ba yung walk-in sa VIA over sa delivery service lang from call center?

^my cousin applied for a tourist visa June 3 and he got it July 1. Exactly 4 weeks

Hello mga sisses!

I'm planning on going to AU this august.  However, its not yet sure as I still have appointment sa AU high commission this wed.  Fortunately, I was able to research on the places to go to during my 4 days visit in AU.  Please do comment and help me. I really want my trip to AU a more memorable one.  Thanks!

Day 1 - SYD Morning arrival
         - from airport directly to central station --> directly to Katoomba for Blue mountains with my little luggage that I will store in the YHA hostel while roaming around.  Then after finishing the whole Echo point and Scenic world hop on hop off, I will go back to YHA to retrieve my luggage and head straight to Central stn for my stay in Sydney Central YHA.
             This is for whole day.  Although a friend of mine who lived in AU before (she's now in Jakarta) told me its not worth going to.  Not sure if its true.  I only have two days in sydney so I'd better make the most of out my trip.  I heard its foggy in blue mtns on aug.  Kindly help me on this one.
Day 2 - SYD
         - From my hostel, try Harry's cafe de wheels pie, walk to Circular Quay (I will be skipping Taronga zoo.  Even if I would love to see a koala bear, if it takes me the whole day to spend my entrance fee here, i'd rather not.  I even skipped San diego zoo when I was visiting there)
         - Darling harbour
         - Manly Beach
         - Bondi Beach (Is the two beaches doable in one day?)
         - Botanic Gardens
         - Sydney Opera House
         - Paddy's market
         - chinatown
         - at 6:00PM I will head to airport for flight to melbourne

Day 3 - Great Ocean Road tour! The highlight of my trip
Day 4 - Botanic garden
         - St Kilda
         - Victoria Market
         - Flight back home in the evening.

^check the weather pagdating mo sa sydney if magbblue mountains ka.if maulan,sayang ang punta mo.sulit naman syang puntahan kasi maganda talaga ang view.

Sa number 2.maybe you can skip manly?medyo gahol yan sched mo.if magppaddys ka pa,mga 2pm umalis ka na ng circular quay (mag bus ka na sis.ako kuripot,bus 555 ang sinasakyan ko para libre).5 kasi nagsasarado na ang flea market.

^Sis.  Thanks!  Do you think Blue mountains is worth it?  Or i just dedicate my first and second day free roaming around sydney?  Is it going to be the three sister lang ba?  I am not that excited rin kasi mag tram although I know the view maybe spectacular pero culture wise, is Blue mountains parang a touristy spot lang?   Sorry sis, medyo magulo tanong ko.  hehe, just weighing kasi if Blue mtns is really worth the one day trip.   Thanks!

Eklea, sa tourist lang yan... as in yung typical 3 month stay. My mumdin nagapply ng tourist visa but we requested a year stay so kelangan ng medical. Yun yung nakapagpatagal since may backlog daw sila ng 8 weeks worth of applications. Yun cousin ko, 3 months stay lang inapplyan and that took 4 weeks.

^more on sight seeing lang talaga for me (although breathtaking ang view ha).sa mga mahihilig maghike,sulit na sulit sya.nung punta kasi namin doon,napagtripan na maghike mula scenic world hanggang echo point - halos isumpa ko officemates ko.hahaha..medyo nastress din ako sa byahe namin sa dami ng stop,pag di attentive,laki ng chance na maligaw.kung di ka rin lang mahilig sa ganun sis ha,better na hatiin mo sa 2 days yung day 2 IT mo para di ka bangag sa flight mo pamelbourne.

^Thanks sis! You helped a lot. I think I'm going to blue mountains for the sights.  After all, its the swoon worthy sights I am after.  I thought its just the three sisters who will cap the whole experience and the scenic world will be just mountains similar to what you see in Mt. Samat Cross in bataan. he he he.  Parang highest peak lang ang dating which is not the experience I am looking for.   I am looking forward to the grandeur-like horizons of Grand Canyons or Rocky mountains in Colorado. he he he.  But thanks sis for taking time to help me decide.

^^no worries sis.basta check the weather forecast sa araw na dadalaw ka.if 80% chance ng rain,wag ka na talaga tumuloy.puro ulap makikita mo and super lakas ng hangin esp now na winter.

Hi sisses, what are the must-see places in Melbourne for those travelling with kids? We'll be staying there for 1 week. If wala mashadong mapuntahan sa melbourne, is it advisable to go to Sydney? And ano din yng must-see's sa Sydney? TIA
