Laoag, Vigan and Pagudpud Thread 11

^^ No sis, di nga crowded ang super calm ng waters sa Saud Beach in Pagudpud. We went first week of June. We stayed at Grandpa's Inn in Vigan (overnight) and Polaris Beach House in Pagudpud. Di kami nag overnight sa Laoag, gusto ko kasi by the beach ang accommodation.
I highly recommend Grandpa's Inn. Polaris is so-so lang pero pwede na if your on a budget. But it's near a beach side na di mabato mag swim.

Eto yung itinerary namin sis pero by plane kami so inuna namin Vigan.

June 4 – arrive in Laoag at 2pm, bus to Vigan, check in at Grandpa’s Inn, kalesa ride and visit Calle Crisologo at night
June 5 – check out at Grandpa's Inn at 8am, Vigan-Laoag tour, check in at Polaris Beach Resort
June 6 – Pagudpud tour, overnight in Polaris
June 7 – beach bumming/chillax day, overnight in Polaris
June 8 – early check out at Polaris, bus to Laoag

Would like to ask what is the best way to travel from CASA Consuelo in Pagudpud all the way to VIGAN? Then from Vigan to Laoag Airport?

Eto kase sana itinerary namen

May 16 - 8PM Arrival Laoag airport.
             Check in Homestay. Thinking about staying at Kuya Glenn's.

May 17 - Laoag - Pagudpud Day Tour
             Check in Homestay in Saud.

May 18 - North Pagudpud Day Tour
             Check in Casa Consuelo (Blue Lagoon)

May 19 - Travel to Vigan. Vigan day tour.
              Back to Laoag airport for 8:45PM flight departure.

This is where I got stuck, (4th day), I am not sure if it doable. Any thoughts mga sis? And this is just for 3 or 4 pax. Many thanks!

kaya iyan if maaga kayong aalis ng pagudpud, lets say mga 7-8am. then mga 3hours lang ang tour nyo sa vigan.

Thanks sis shegothim, but is there a direct bus from Pagudpud to Vigan? or we really have to stop by Laoag pa?

Actually I've been to Vigan na, yung mga kasama ko kase gusto visit yung Calle Crisologo for photo op. Kahet hinde na yung Baluarte. We are planning to leave Pagudpud around 10AM. Siguro less than 2 hours tour lang sa Vigan. Ang worry ko lang yung travel time going back Laoag baka maiwan kame ng plane. Haha

bihira lang. usually iyong galing ng cagayan ang pupunta ng vigan. mas marami iyong bus na papuntang laoag. basta by 4pm alis na kayo ng vigan. mas agahan nyo pang umalis sis kasi kung 10am kayo aalis ng pagudpud, baka amazing race ang abutin nyo.

uu nga sis, aabutin din pala almost 4 hours kung pagudpud - laoag - vigan. yay! sana pumayag nlg yung mga kasama ko na wala ng Vigan. para sulit ang relax beach mode sa pagudpud. haha. thanks again sis!

oo sulitin nyo na lang ang beach if di rin talaga kakayanin na maaga ang alis sa pagudpud. kasi sa vigan kasi magtatagal dahil marami ring bilihan ng kung anik-anik. eh sa pagshashopping palang oras na rin ang itatagal nun.

Can anyone recommend me a reasonable tour package of Vigan-Laoag-Pagudpod? Three lang kami e and we were hoping na may kasabay kami. Will be arriving via Cebupac sa Laoag on March 9, 2PM and leave by 12NN on March 12. Thanks in advance sa sasagot.

hello ms. Feelpretty! I dont know how to send msg to you but i want to know if tuloy po ba kayo this march9? Will be arriving in vigan naman po ng mar9 ng umaga. And will be leaving mar11 ng gabi  via cebpac Laoag to Manila. Two naman po kami kaya sana pwede tayo magkasabay para may kahati din kami. Thanks po:))

Please suggest a good itinerary.  We'll bring a car.  Im travelling with my husband and 2 kids (1 is almost teenager na)  5 days/4 night, plan to leave manila around 4 or 5 am tapos first stop namin is to visit our relatives sa Sta. Cruz Ilocos Sur, spend lunch and baka meryenda tapos byahe na to Vigan and spend our first night there.

Vigan Laoag Pagudpud trip pero di na namin plan puntahan mga rock formation, falls, cave and viaduct.  Baka lighthouse, churches, calle crisologo, baluarte, windmills lang.

Pauwi ng Manila, our plan is to stay 1 night naman sa La Union

Given a choice, ano mas pipiliin nyo, Saud or Blue Lagoon?  Prefer ko yung may beachfront sana.  Chill chill lang

hi...we've been there last week. manila straight to pagudpod for 12 hours drive (night time) stayed at saud, maalon masyado so walang water activities even sa blue lagoon/hannah's. then laoag, walang masyado dun..then stayed again at vigan. halos lahat ng itinerary na nabasa ko dito inisa isa namin

^what do you mean wala masyado sa Laoag?  walang magawa?

^sa Laoag City kase mismo wala ka talaga masyado pupuntahan. Siguro visit the Cathedral lang and that's it. The other churches (Paoay, St. Monique, etc) are outside of the city na. Most of the spots na pwede pasyalan malayo na sa City, yung Kapurpurawan, Bojeador, Bangui, lahat madadaanan mo na going to Pagudpud. But definitely try the sand dunes either in Laoag (la paz) or in Paoay. Relative to Vigan, the tour is mostly within the city of Vigan.

mga sis, any idea magkano ang Van rental kung papasundo from airport papunta Vigan? Also, Pagudpud to Laoag airport? TIA :-)

Sis pbrg, if you really want super beach front and calmer waves, go to Saud. Last year we spent 2 nights at Apo Idon in Saud. The hotel was nice but food was a bit blah. Beachfront talaga siya so the location is great.

We also stayed overnight at Hannahs in Blue Lagoon. Blue Lagoon was fun din but the waves were too strong for my kids. But I heard there are times that Blue Lagoon is calmer than Saud. We went there early May. I found Hannah's to uhm cement-y? Hahaha! Mas type ko yung mga natural looking relaxing beach places kasi. I really did not like the rooms at all, amoy detergent. But my kids enjoyed their pool. And sice malaki yung property nila, you need to walk a few meters to get to the beach.

Next time I think I would rather stay in Kapuluan Vista or Casa Consuelo (which silly me I cancelled last minute for Hannah's thinking it was better) then just drive to Blue Lagoon to swim. Anyway, malapit lang, maybe 5min drive
