Facebook/ Twitter pet peeves- Thread 2

Those who repeatedly post their travel photos. Ex. she went to Europe in 2013. She posted a lot during and after her trip. Then come this year, ayun she posted again those same photos. BTW, it happened din sa isa ko pang friend, sya naman sa SE Asia naman and Dubai. Yung tipong na-post na dati, years or months ago, and then post it again. Is this an annoying trend?

facebook: Yung mga nagpopost ng mga mundane things sa fb. Lahat na lang pinipicturan at pinopost, di lang isang pic, lahat ng anggulo pa! Jusko, may instagram naman or twitter para sa mga daily blabs lang.

twitter: yubg ginagawang chatroom ang twitter. okay lang ang 3 exchanges eh, pero pag dun na kayo magchichikahan, pwede ipm/dm na lang? kesa fumaflood ng feed?

^no sis, walang throwback throwback. Talagang they just posted it again on some random days. And purely, travel abroad photos. My thoughts are that they keep bragging about their vacays abroad kesehodang anong petsa na lol..

mga sis, question lang.. is there a way sa FB para hindi makita ang list of friends mo? i asked this question because I have a guy friend in FB na pilit nya ina-add yung ibang female friends ko kasi type nya (i know pathetic talaga).. thing is, nagkikwento at nagtatanong sa akin yung female friends ko about the guy trying to add them.. ayaw naman nila i-add (kahit may mutual friend - ako) kasi nga naman, they don't know the guy personally.. i already told the guy - in a nice way - na baka pwedeng iwasan nya yung ganun behavior kasi stalking ang dating.. he just told me that he's just being friendly.. di ko naman ma-unfriend kasi barkada ko sya since college and ninong sya ng son ko.. so naisip ko na lang baka pwedeng hindi na lang nya (guy friend) ma-view sino mga friends ko... haist...

^ yup, pwede mo hide yung friends mo so other people can't see your friends' list.

^ ayun.. thank you so much sis! i was able to edit it under Edit Profile... at least ngayon yung mutual friends na lang namin nung kumpare ko ang makikita nya. no more stalking on my other female friends.. thanks sis!

i don't get it why people would say RIP to someone who just died when they don't even know this individual personally? like paul walker, robin williams, steve jobs....WHY?!

i dont get the reason behind it as well. Especially if this is done on facebook with matchin photo of these celebrities. I might let it pass if i see just a single tweet of "rip celeberity" on twitter.

Those who use the #minsanlang or #pagbigyannyona hashtags. I mean, if you're going to post your selfie, which is annoying enough to begin with, or if you're going to post your new shiny bag/car/whatever, just do it. Why add pa a pa-cute na disclaimer?

And really, if you're going to use the #minsanlang hashtag, it better be minsan lang. Because if you keep using that in every pacute photo, then it kinda sorta loses its value as "minsan lang."

This isn't really specific to Facebook, but it happened on Facebook, so I'm posting it here.

This pregnant friend posted about how she doesn't read any books or any literature on pregnancy, like she's actually proud of it. Geez, okay, we get it, you're the coolest, chillest mom-to-be.

I get it -- she's trying to be the antithesis of the typical Facebook mom who posts everything about their pregnancy, childbirth, and kids, but, wow, to choose effin' CHILDBIRTH of all things to "keep things as a surprise". And it's so strange that she's actually bragging that she's not educating herself on it.

super agree... I think its their way of saying, Im updated! i know all the current events. And if you think about it even if you know someone who died or kahit super close pa kayo its kind of unusual to post it on fb just send a message or tell the relatives personally

As mentioned, some celebrities have impact to some people's lives so it's only natural they get saddened and use social media as their output.

Unfortunately, meron din yung nakikiuso lang so kung kilala mo lang talaga yung nag post, you'll differentiate the sincerity.



Mga god post ay pakitang tao para ma sabi na maka diyos o religious sila. Obvious naman kasi yung ibang posts nila eh kabaliktaran.

Sa mag God post, it depends on the person posting it. Meron naman kasi na super thankful lang sila sa blessings and they want to share it to their friends. Pero yun ginagawang prayer book ang facebook di ko din yun nagugustuhan.

Ako ang pet peeve ko sa FB eh yun mga person na nagccheck in sa mga expensive resto and places tapos alam ko na nagyayabang lang siya. Meron naman kasing tao na lahat naman ng lugar pinopost niya pero meron ibang tao na yun lang. Unfollow ko nga yun mga ganung friends ko sa fb.

Sorry but if you're really thankful to God, you give thanks through personal prayers o kaya do good or share your blessings to others.

Hindi sa social media. It borders on pagyayabang na din ng gamit o buhay.

Pero kung minsanan lang ang ganyan, emotional high siguro. Tolerable

nakakatawa basahin mga posts dito hehe.

** mas mahaba pa yung mga pinag gagawa hashtags kesa sa status mismo. wala nang sense eh.

** mang aaway ng bongga sa fb tas after nun magpost ng pic na nagsimba.

** puro parinig. ang bakya lang eh.

** wagas kung maka selfie. kakaumay. papansin na masyado.

** wagas din kung maka arte, mag emo. akala mo lahat na ng problema sa mundo dala niya.

** yung lahat i-share sa fb. "share this if you believe in God" blah blah. auto click ata ng share button eh.

** low resolution or blurred picture, ang nakakainis dun. isang album eh puro ganun ang pics.

** every minute nagpost ng ka-sweetan about sa partner nila. seriously?! kailangan talaga sa fb?

** baby pics, okay lang sa akin basta nga cute yung baby. like team Kramer. I wouldn't mind seeing their pics in my news feed daily. tsaka yung iba naman paulet ulet lang ang post eh.

** kunwari may laban si pacquiao, panay post sa fb ng update. haller, may TV rin naman kami noh. updated kami. hahaha

so far yan mga naisip ko hehe.
