Starlust, who is the chef there? i see a couple of girls there. super funny, was there last night and they have new macaroon flavors. sabi nung 1 guy there they have christmas tea flavor. narinig ko christmas tree, i was like christmas tree? tapos everyone laughed hahahaha boo boo but excited to try the new ones

^Karen Yang - she's the daughter of George Yang (McDo). You'll see her wearing her Cordon Bleu chef whites if she's there. Since they opened and til the day I left Manila I would buy everyday at Chez Karine - macarons, strawberry pannacotta and their strawberry cheesecake smoothie are my faves!

She makes a really good salted caramel macaron. Last new flavor I tried was the Bacon - I didn't like so much.

ah i've spoken to her a couple of times na. i just dropped by again today. tried the matcha and christmas tea. i didn't like christmas tea kasi cinnamon-y but i love matcha!

Try also their Chocolate Passionfruit -  it's an exact copy of Mogador macaron ng Pierre Herme Paris.

Curious about this din. Cute tignan. May macarons sila sharon cuneta nung new year just saw sa IG ni kc. Ang try ko sana is yung sa bizu in trinoma since its the most accessible sad to know na di pala sya the best in the metro.

TWG at GB5, have macarons slightly better than Bizu's.
But well, I haven't encountered any locally that have that quality of melting in your mouth.

So, for me, the best are still the ones of Le Maison du Chocolat in NYC, and Laduree both in NYC & Paris.

In hk, 6pcs of laduree macarons cost 190hkd. It's about 171pesos per piece. It's more expensive than john paul hevins.

I love Bar Dolci too. Bizu for me is just soso...

Raintree makes good macarons too although may times na medjo hit or miss coz it tends to be sweet minsan.

Merry  Macs has uber cute designs. And i love their extra ordinary flavor. Calamansi etc... iba naman than the usual flavors available.

I didn't like French Bakers naman. Too dry for me.. Enderuns macarons is okay din

Laduree macarons is the best that i have tasted so far!  my faves are salted caramel, pistachio and chocolate.
