Ask ko lang if okay to schedule travel in Vietnam during their Tet celebration? We plan to go there kase Feb 17-19; apparently, holiday pala nila yun

any feedback on Gia Vien Hotel? we booked there kasi based on agoda ratings, it's good!

we're staying for 2 days. possible itinerary will be:

day 1- chu chi tunnels tour, golden dragon water puppet show
day 2- city tour, ben thanh market

any other suggestions?

need your input on this.. san ba mas ok pumunta?

Hanoi or Ho chi min city? kasi after vietnam we will be going to cambodia then BKK..

if hanoi - ano-ano makikita dun madami ba aside sa ha long bay? travelling time from ha noi to cambodia (siem reap) via bus? or which is better bus or air? how much na din airfare estimate kung may nakakaalam?

if ho chi min city - ano-ano makikita maganda at makakatabi lang ba sila? how long travelling time going to siem reap? if nag push pa kami na pumunta ng ha noi ilang oras travelling time from ho chi min via bus?

kaya ba ng 1day ang ha noi or ho chi min (near areas na tourist spots) or 2 days minimum?

^yung city hall at yung statue under renovation ng magpunta kami last january

2 days to ho chi minh pwede na sis... mga old structure mostly sa HCM

alam ko sis from HCM to hanoi e malayo pa kasi yung expat na officemate ko pag nauwi yun ng vietnam fom hcm to hanoi by air pa siya ayaw niya lang direct flight from mla to hanoi kasi mahal daw dito sa atin heheh juripot lang... its my 5th time to HCM in april then 6th in november

^yung under renovation sis sa HCM ba yun? actually by sept or oct pa kami pupunta pero now palang basa-basa nako and gawa ng ITI draft!

hihi just like HK travel sis.. hehe at ang bongga mo! madalas ka pala sa vietnam! kaw na!

ask ko yung airfare pag dumating yung expat namin taga hanoi yun, siya kasi nagbook ng airfare niya sa march 5 pa ang balik... ako naka score ng Php1,189.08 RT na para sa November HCM... il give you my contacts sa TNF bags if you want para maka discount ka at tips kasi mahirap narin maglabas ng items mas malala customs dun

Ongoing constructions daw talaga sa HCMC now kasi they are already starting to build their own MRT/Train system. That is what my bff told me nun bumalik sila sa HCMC to file some documents/papers. They used to live in Vietnam particularly in DaNang. Sad lang kasi some of the structures na dinadayo ay matatamaan ng construction nila.

awww.. naku kung sswertehin ka nga naman.. renovation nanaman ang aabutan namin. parang sa HK nga. hai.. galing naman sis! nag negosyo kana dahil dun! galing! sana makakuha din kami ng magandang deal tapos mag boom dito sa office and friends.. hehe pm mo ko sis pls ng info ng contacts mo for TNF ha? thanks much!

ahh.. talaga sige sis update mo din ako sa airfare nya if mura lang we will check hanoi as well kahit dun lang sa halong bay.. sis mura ng ticket mo! ano yan cebupac?

sayang! ano-ano kaya yun natamaan? sad nga yun sis.. hindi din namin sila makikita ng buo at walang nakaharang na construction..

Change of plans, we will just stay in HCM. Booked at the hotel continental in dong khoi because a friend of mine recommended this hotel and location. Hopefully it turns out okay.

Has anyone seen the water puppet show? I do not have an itinerary hehe

Madali lang. But be very careful of taxi scams and jumping meters. Reliable taxi companies charge around 12,000 VND at the start of the ride. The fare goes up by 1200 – 1400 VND every additional 200 metres.
