I don't think bazaars are as strong as before, between the number of malls and multiply, parang less people go to bazaars. What do you think?  Sometimes I think of joining bazaars in mga Davao and Cebu para different crowd.

Noon people would really go to the hotels and pay the entrance fee Pero natin iba.  Joined Rockwell bazaar before- nobody.

Sis, this is soooo true. This year, I joined Noel and Worldbazaar in World Trade. Here are some honest feedback and realizations:

For Noel Bazaar (Nov 16 to Dec 2), nagtipid yung Organizers ng Marketing nila. Unlike other years daw (sabi ng ibang concessionaires), nag post sila sa street lights ng banners sa Edsa ata from Sucat to somewhere. Not to mention flyers meron si world bazaar. Noel wala. Parang every year daw, pa-koripot sila ng pa-koripot. No wonder, bazaar proper na, some booths were still empty.
Anyway, people traffic was dismal. Bumawi nalang nung last weekend Friday to Sunday yun. Nung Last weekend ng Saturday, sinabayan ng Supersale Bazaar (Dec 1-5) sa World Trade din pero sa tent sila. 2 reasons: first, sila 100 pesos entrance, noel 50 pesos. Kaya ayun nilangaw sila. Eh yung Noel, siyempre pailaw and designs, doon tuloy nagpunta mga tao.
Last weekend ng Sunday naman, 2/3rds of the concessionaires ng Noel bazaar wala na. May ibang event kasi sa world trade nun, so 1/3rd lang natira. Akala namin nanaman for sure wala na magpupunta kasi kami nalang natira. Baligtad. Dahil maliit na yung place, wala na kami kalaban. Last day na, sa amin na talaga bumili mga tao. So happy lahat ng concessionaires na natira.

World Bazaar naman (Dec 7 - 23)
Marketing - very good. as mentioned above. Di nagtipid sa posters.
Owners / Organizers - very greedy. pati concessionaires gusto pagkakitaan. We were not allowed to bring food and drinks, kahit tubig!
May pinamamalaki silang free parking sa Citem Parking ibang lugar not world trade), tapos free shuttle daw to and fro world trade.
Hay.
-super koripot din sila sa sound system and entertainment. Yung Noel, rinig na rinig mo sa buong venue may Dj na nagsasalita and very entertaining yung shows.

Magaganda mga damit pangbababae meron 100 to 150. Shirts panglalaki madami 100 lang. Toys ganun din super mura at pare pareho.

Realizations:

1. Bazaars seem to be getting less and less profitable every year.

This year is the Groupon year kasi.

Before 2nd wk of december, puro tingin tingin lang sila. tanong tanong.

Yung sikat naman like these 2 above, napakamahal maningil ng renta. Kumita ka man, di pa rin ganun kalaki for the work and investment entailed.

3. by the way, Kudos to Cut Unlimited din naman (organizers ng Noel Bazaar). In fairness, makatao sila. We joined their Bazaar in Mercato, 4 weekends yun. Although we paid for the full 4 weekends, we only joined the 1st weekend and said we will not join the 3 other weekends. They refunded us kaagad after 4 days. May conscience itong organizer na ito.

4. Bazaars are fun pa rin naman and can be profitable kung super mura talaga ang products mo at maganda. Di ka na yayaman sa pagbabazaar. Lalo na yung mga nagbabazaar year round, don't expect a lot. For beginners, your best bet is to join Christmas bazaars. Medyo masmataas yung likelihood kumita. Tumataas ha, hindi pa rin guarantee.

I hope this helps. =)

Hi!  I am really wondering about Bazaars for 2013.  I just found out in comparison with exhibitions abroad that draw 30,000 people in lets say 3 days (think about the expos in South East Asian Countries), some bazaar Organizers here are charging even higher then those international exhibitions.  The table prices are too high already and not enough customers come to shop, to cover the table rent  :(

Text nyo lang ako sa 0925-88-11-88-4. Salamat, mga sis!

hello mga sis,

hope this will be helpful to those who have registered business na. BIR is requiring a new format for ORs/SIs/CIs. Business establishments should be using the new format (i.e. new receipts) starting July 1, 2013. Napanood ko lang sa news last night, hindi ko alam na may bago palang niroll out na ganyan ang BIR.

medyo nakaka dalawang isip nga sumali sa bazaar lately. i noticed dun sa mga bazaars na nakikita ko kokonti ang mga taong pumupunta and hindi pa lahat bumibili. madami na nga kasing nagsulputan na mga malls ngayon na may sarili ng bazaars sa loob or consistent sellers. sa mga malls ngayon halos the same na din ang prices ng items or madalas cheaper than bazaars kasi laging may sale. ako nga nakakabili ng damit sa isang mall sa marikina na branded at a cost the same sa bazaar. "why would i still go to a bazaar kung mas convenient naman mamili sa mall at mas mura pa", i'm sure yan na ang nasa isipan ng mga shoppers kasi madalas pag bazaars mainit ang atmosphere. korek! mga organizers na lang ang kumikita sa bazaars and yung mga clients (sellers) nila eh nalulugi dahil hindi manlang nacover yung expenses nila. another thing, madami at malalaki ang malls na nagsusulputan sa divisoria na ang mga items are just the same that you can buy sa bazaar at a higher cost pa. nagiisip na din ang mga mamimili.

sana lang maisip na din ng ibang organizers kung ano ba talaga ang vision nila to earn at the expense of these small entrepreneurs or help/assist entreps with also good returns.

ganiyan ng ngyari sa amin last year ... we backed out right before christmas kasi ang kita namen napupunta lang sa rent ng stall ..wala masiyado tao and sobra dami ng competition ..so imbes na kumita kami, i guess organizers lang ang yumaman ...

siguro di para sa amin ang bazaar .. will focus in online business instead :)

To add to that, yung mga "sikat" and mas mataong bazaars naman like noel, super taas ng rent!

Yay!

Wala pa ako experience sa bazaar since anime/cosplay/toy convention kami madalas (Toycon, Ozine..etc etc). And madami ding cosplayer na nakakapaghatak ng people :D

The problem with most bazaars is that they charge huge amounts. P3,000 a day? Mahirap nga bawiin. Because of that, most of the sellers they are getting are those with a lot of capitals but not necessarily with good products. An when there are no good products in bazaars, why would people go there.
