I don't know if nashare ko na to: Garlic Buttered Mushroom

3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
1 tablespoon garlic (finely chopped)
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper
2 cans Button mushroom halves
2 tablespoons kinchay chopped

Melt butter in a pan w/ low heat. Add garlic, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and toss with garlic butter to coat.

Cover pan and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, and making sure garlic doesn't burn (reduce heat to very low). Just before serving, toss mushrooms with chopped kinchay.

inihaw na bangus. .

^hi sis! here's how i cook pancit:

1. saute onion, then add pork strips. if you have chicken, pwede rin pero mas malasa kapag pork or both ok din.

2. once luto na yung meat, add in your veggies. i usually put cabbage, carrots & baguio beans - the more, the yummier. :)

3. add soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper, then gisa gisa lang.

4. add water - ito tinatancha ko lang depende kasi sa dami ng pancit na iluluto ko.

5. pag medyo kumukulo na, i add in the mama sita's canton/chopsuey mix then haluin until mag simmer ulit.

6. once nag simmer na, you'll notice na medyo lalapot na yung sabaw. if ok na yung veggies, hinahango ko sya, hinihiwalay ko sa sabaw para hindi ma overcook then set aside.

7. add the pancit, (ako pancit canton + bihon/sotanghon lagi) then mix lang until maluto.

8. adjust lang according to your taste then serve with veggies on top.

sorry sis kung walang measurements, minsan kasi marami minsan din konti lang luto ko. pero yung oyster sauce ko, laging 1 pack lang gamit ko, yung 5 each sa tindahan. yung sotanghon or bihon pala, binababad ko rin muna sa water bago ko ilagay sa sabaw. by the way, nakalagay sa instructions ng mama sita's na ihalo dapat sa water yung mix pero hindi ko sinusunod yun, lagi kong dinidirecho, haha. so far, lagi namang successful kapag gumagawa ako nito. hth! :)

Para sa mga left-over pork adobo I found one from my Idol Chef Boy.. ;D

SINAMPALUKANG ADOBO

10 cups water
½ cup sliced onions
One fourth cup sliced ginger
1 cup chopped tomatoes
One and a half cups skinned gabi
½ kilo cooked pork adobo
½ cup labanos, sliced diagonally
½ cup sliced okra
½ cup sitaw, cut into 3” length
2 packs Sinigang sa Sampalok Original Mix
1 bundle camote tops

Procedure:

1. In stockpot, combine water, onions, ginger and tomatoes. Bring to a boil for at least 10 minutes to extract flavor.
2. Add gabi and pork adobo. Simmer until gabi is tender.
3. Add the rest of vegetables, followed by Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix. Let simmer for 5 minutes more. Remove from heat and add camote tops. Serve hot.

my gosh, parang ang sarap naman nito :) :) :)
i can't wait to try this!

sinigang na salmon

1 can canned salmon (saba un brand na ginagamit ko e)
onion
garlic
oil
sinigang mix

saute garlic and onion in oil
add salmon (drain muna un oil)
pag nag white na un salmon i add un na drain na oil
add little water and konting sinigang mix simmer
pede din mag lagay ng veggies

Tried this today, masarap! Added okra and eggplant since yun lang available ko dito. Used a different brand of salmon also. Benta! Thank you for posting! :-)

try ko nga yang sinigang na canned salmon. di ako nawawalan ng stocks nito, fave ko kasi.  :) i wanna share also another recipe of canned salmon I learned from my mother. This is her version of Japanese omellette. Sorry sisses, I don't have exact measurements. Tantya tantya lang kasi ako magluto.

canned salmon, flaked
chopped carrots
chopped kintsay
chopped onions
egg
flour
salt
pepper
konting water

I just mix them all together, heat oil in a frying pan, and put a scoop  of the mixture into the pan. Pag brown na yung one side, just turn the other side. That easy!
