After ng training, saka ipapasa ng agency ang resume mo sa employer sa Canada, pag napili ka tatawagan ka ng agency at mag aantay ka ng 3-4 months para sa Visa kasi matagal daw mag process. libre na daw ang airfare, ang housing naman mag provide sila, pero 1/3 ng sahod mo ang counter part mo. Madami nga daw sumusugal like Bank Manager, Nurse, IT, though naka alis naman na sila, after 2 years candidate ka na din for Immigrant.
Nakaka takot sumugal, una meron bayad, and pangalawa sa dami ng related sa course at meron experience, siyempre mas malaki ang chance mapili sila (admin job ako). Though willing ako mag change ng career para din sana makuha ko pamilya ko, nakaka takot pa din, kasi maiiwan ko mga anak ko at asawa ko dito.

Ano po sa palagay ninyo dito?

Sis, I just want to make it clear that those applying under the low skilled program are not guaranteed of an immigrant status after 2 years. NO. If the employer will support them, yes they can. But if not, they need to go back to their place of origin and they can only come back after 4years. My bagong batas na effective since April 1, 2011. So lahat ng mga skilled (high or low) na hindi sinuportahan ng mga employers for their application of PR, na dumating dito ng April 1, 2011 and later, eh mapapauwi by April1, 2015 --basta maximum of 4 years lang ang stay nila.

Im just new here. Sorry for the siss here pero may itatanong lang sana ako to have opinion sa mga nag-stay na ng matagal sa Canada.

Having the experience of life in the Philippines and Canada, if given the chance to back in the past, which you prefer more: to stay in the Philippines or still migrating in Canada? and Why?

^^ i havent stayed here in Canada for that long pero what i've observed is of course maraming pinoy ang nahohomesick even after many years PERO once they go back to the Phils again like after 2 years of more, they see the difference and they realize na yes, life in Canada is better. My in laws recently went home after migrating in 2007, and sabi ni MIL na parang ayaw nya na daw bumalik. If babalik sya, baka after 10 years. hehe.

^^i'm from new brunswick. if lumaki ka sa city medyo mag-aadjust ka talaga dahil para syang baguio dito. probinsya talaga although mababait ang tao and mostly puti. san dito sa new brunswick???

^nakita kong mura tuition sa new brunswick community college sa moncton. madali ba makahanap ng work dyan?

ah sa moncton ba. 1 hour drive sa lugar namin. about sa work depende kung anong work ang gusto mo pasukan. pag sa mall, restaurant, call center, madali lang (but they prefer bilingual). office work, mahirap.

most of the people nga pala in moncton are bilingual (60-80%), and there are some of them who doesn't speak english at all(refuse).

^yup, most of the places kasi sa new brunswick are bilingual or french.

^^ pero sis curious lang ako. Magkano ba ang tuition fee baka naman kasi konti na lang at abot na pangshow money if you apply for general stream. At least PR agad.

^6k ang tuition pero may mga additional charges pa. hindi naman aabot ng 8k. academic ielts na kasi meron ako tsaka matagal pa ata processing ng PR.

community college ba ya??? just to let you know pala di porke nag-apply ka ay tanggap ka na agad kasi depende sa number of seat ang tinatanggap nilang students. pinakamadaling matanggap na course chemical engineering kasi konti lang nag-apply dun and in 2 weeks may mag drop-out talaga. may mga kaibigan ako na indan sa university naman nag-aral engineering, pagkatapos nila nag-apply sila ng pr and trabaho at the same time. tanggap sila agad.

agree. ang waiting period ng nursing here in winnipeg is ridiculous. 2 years ata. haha. what course do you want to apply? what are your plans, to eventually become PR ba in Canada or gusto mo talaga ng foreign education? you can also try other countries sis like NZ and Australia just so you have options. hindi naman sa nilalait ko ang canadian schools pero kasi canada naman is not known for their universities. few foreigners go here to study. halos puro Chinese lang ang kilala ko na nag-aaral dito. kasi if you have the money, malay mo pasok naman pala ang pera mo sa mas maganda and reputable university in other countries, mas bright pa ang future mo.

question mga sis na nasa vancouver.. madalas ko nababasa dito na kailangang mag upgrade/mag aral para may chance sa mas magandang work. how much would it cost to upgrade?

and kung hindi ako mag upgrade due to financial reason or dahil hindi ko kaya pagsabaying ang work and school, siguro nasa minimum lang kikitain ko. would it be enough to cover my living expenses or need ko mag 2-3 jobs kung minimum salary ako. (let's say solo lang ako mag migrate sa vancouver)

Plan is to study first then apply for pr eventually. Actually i dont have definite plans yet in canada as my first option is nz or australia. Based sa mga nababasa ko about nz cost of education there would be more or less 500k pesos for one year. I got curious about canada kasi nabasa ko na around 6k-8k dollars ang budget if you study in new brunswick from the post above. Question ko is how much sa city like vancouver, ottawa kahit estimate lang. I dont need reputable school just the average one as long as mura.

unfortunately, kahit hindi sa vancouver you still need to upgrade.
if you have 3 jobs at the same time, paano ka matutulog  . kidding aside, that means working 7days a week maybe 14 hrs or more a day. thats though pero kung gusto mo talaga, kakayanin mo. the money you get is more than enough for your daily needs, malaki nga lang tax mo lalo single ka. but its doable.

Oo nga naman, paano matutulog. Hehe. What do you mean na hindi kaya pagsabayin ang work and school? Time constraint? Kung ganoon, paano ka pa mag 3 jobs diba? What kind of work do you want. Siguro i-assess mo muna kung ano ang work na gusto mo at ano ang 'magandang work' for you. Kasi for example here in winnipeg, the city bus driver earns a minimum of 17dollars per hour. Some may say na hindi sya 'maganda' but its high paying and conisdered govt employee ka so better benefits.

I think practical na din to have 1 full time and 1 part time kung kakayanin, then ipon ka na lang muna. If may pera ka na, you can drop the part time job tapos magaral ka naman ng part time. Kasi pwede din naman ata iclaim sa tax ang tuition and books so at least may mababawi ka kahit konti.
