Been ebfing my baby for almost 4 months now. How do u know pag humihina na ang supply mo? I don't know kasi eh I directly bfeed my baby as on everyday nakakatamad na kasi mag bottles mdaming seremonyas im used to direct feeding mas comfortable sakin. But the thing is diko kita kung malakas or mahina ang flow. Muka naman he's busog madalas. What are the other signs ba na he's not getting enough? I wanna catch it kasi kung humihina my supply i wanna do something bout it na bago tuloytuloy mawala i want to bfeed till he's 2 :) or hindi naman ba nawawala ang supply for as long as pinapalatch sya?

^ As long as you nurse on demand, your supply will be sufficient.  That's the beauty of breastfeeding. :)

There is a table of how many wet and soiled diapers per day plus the recommended weight gain (there is a curve so there is no exact number for a standard) for exclusively breastfed babies.

2 months 9 days old baby ko. exclusive breastfeed na.  napansin ko since yesterday, mas madalas sneeze nya, then minsan ubo sya pag naghihiccups or pag magalaw sobra.  Then mas Mahabad ang tulog Nya, mas matagal ren sya hingi milk.

Baka Nahawa sa akin.  Ano dapat kong gawin?

^ Continue breastfeeding on demand.  Observe your baby.  Baka may triggers for her sniffles.  Alamin mo kung ano ang triggers - flowers, plants, dust, stuffed toy, air freshener, etc.

nagpa lactation massage ako kay Nanay Rich of Arugaan.

pala yun. dapat circulat motion ang pag massage. pati aerola area need i massage.

after non, sa aerola lang pipisin tapos ang daming lumabas! no pain pa. amazing pala ang breasts natin.

1t charge nya. sulit narin kahit mahal. naginhawaan ako.

^first time mom din. 7 weeks na si baby ko & direct feeding din kami. i monitor my baby's weight every week kung enough ba na-ggain nya. kung ok naman ibig sabihin enough din yung nadedede nya sa kin. isa pang ginagawa ko e kinukuha ko weight nya before sya dumede tsaka right after nyang dumede. yung difference e yung amount ng nadede nya. yan yung tinuro sa kin sa hospital. nung 4 weeks si baby nakaka-70g per feeding sya. enough naman daw sya sabi ng pedia ni baby.

^ How do you latch your baby?  Do you bring her to your breast and let her suck?  Or do you bring your breast to her for her to suck?  When do you let her latch?  When she is crying?  Or when she has exhibited signs of hunger like salivating, restlessness, thumb/finger sucking, etc?

How are you positioned when you latch?  Are you still doing the side-lying position?

^ hindi ako makapaglatch sa left breast ko talaga kaya im using pump para sa  left breast nakakastress kasi both for me and baby if pinipilit ko sya sa kabila and the only position we can do pag latch nya sakin sa right breast is side lying tapos galit pa minsan pag di nya makuha yung gusto nyang way of sucking...

@cerelina, if that is the case, I suggest that you seek help from a professional.  There are lactation advisers and counselors who can help you resolve your latching problems.  This is a common occurrence and it can be resolved using the proper technique.

If I may add, do not wait for your baby to be so hungry when you bring her to your breast.  Both of you must be relaxed as well.  Your anxiety and tension can be felt by your baby.

^ Do not wait for your baby to cry before offering your breast.  Crying already signifies extreme hunger. How much more ang newborns?

Instead, look for hunger cues like paglalaway, restlessness, etc.  Do the latching while the baby is not yet completely hungry or starting to get hungry pa lang.  Both of you should be relaxed.

Needless to say, ditch the pump and FOCUS on latching for now.  It does not matter kung side lying position pa lang ang kaya mo.  Eh di FOCUS ka doon.  Ang problem kasi sa pumping, nahahati ang focus mo - mag-pump ka ba or direct feed?  iwa-warm mo ba ang milk o hindi?  kelan mo ba dapat i-warm ang milk, and so on.  You get my drift? :)

Oh, and another thing pala.  You said you give the bottle then your breast.  That is not a good practice.  Your baby might be having nipple confusion kaya siya iyak nang iyak.  Milk flows much more easily from the bottle, even the slowest flow bottle.  Whereas, sa breasts, the baby has to wait for the letdown, which means that the baby has to work harder at extracting milk from the breasts compared to the bottle.  So it is not hard to see why the baby will no longer have the patience to wait for the letdown when she is latched to you, kasi naunahan na siya ng bote eh.  Mas madali sa bote.

Ditch the bottle as well.  It will be hard, but it will be harder to re-train your baby if she gets nipple confused.
