I went to Cebu din last 2013. D

Ang dami ko nun na misadventures sobra na pag nalaman ng nanay ko pagbabawalan na ko maglayag. Pero liberating. Dahil mag isa ako, ang dami kong nakausap. Too bad, ni isa hindi ko nakuha ang pangalan.

After nun, hindi na ako nahiya makipag usap sa stranger. Dati kasi pag naliligaw sa metro manila, hiyang hiya ako magtanong. Natatakot nga kasi ako sa hindi kilala, baka iligaw lang ako. After Cebu, natutunan ko na hindi lahat ng stranger e nakakatakot

Hindi ko lang maulit kasi laging may biglang sumama sa akin kapag nagpaplano ako mag solo travel uli. Pero siguradong uulitin ko ito

Hahaha.. I used to do this, it was truly liberating, and at the same time, it was a time of relection for me. I was never afraid in traveling alone but my first major trip alone was when I went to Vancouver Island. My friend was getting married, but as I was staying there for 5 days, and I booked a hotel 1 city away from her location, so I was left on my own for the 4 days. It was liberating and now that I have the time to dwell on it scary as I was exploring paths that brings you to the sea directly. If I fall to the sea, there would be no one to save me. Plus there were a lot of lonely paths wherein I didn't meet anyone for 45 minutes of walking. hehe. But it was a good experience.

hey all!! I'm new here. I'm also in travel and my first solo travel was 2013 when I went to KL. Anyway, was also able to go to Bora alone last year though I have a friend who works there. Masaya ang experience, kc I don't mind naman if I swim alone or chill sa bar alone. There are a lot of friendly folks, just be cautious.

@heavensent yes it's very safe to travel to Bora alone, basta piliin mong flight is maaga pa baka mahirapan ka kasi pag very late

I miss traveling solo. The last time I did this was a few months ago kaso nga lang pagdating ko naman sa destination ko i had friends to meet, so technically i was solo sa flight but may kasama ko mamasyal. Sana makapagtravel pa din ako alone next year. I'm thinking of Bicol by land.

andito ako ngayon sa bacolod since yesterday. solo trip for me, mala eat, pray and love adventure. nung una nakakatakot talaga. naisip ko nga, itutuloy ko pa ba? pero ayokong mag-isip ng mga what-ifs eh. i want to prove to myself na kaya ko. so ayun, pinush ko. i love it here in bacolod. mababait ang mga tao. i went to the ruins yesterday and the tricycle driver i hired even took photos of me. i observed din kasi the way ng pagsasalita ng mga ilonggo so medyo ginaya ko yung punto nila hehe. ayun, kinakausap nila ako sa dialect nila. dun ko na sasabihin na hindi talaga ako marunong mag-ilonggo.

travelling alone is so liberating. basta lagi ka lang aware sa paligid, don't trust agad-agad. mamaya pupunta naman ako ng iloilo.

Solo trip ako lagi Especially pag work related. Been to US ng magisa lang talaga. New York, Jersey, Cali. Illinois. etc. Kaya minsan talagang nagpopost ako sa FB ko kung sinong andun para naman masamahan ako. Minsan nakakatuwa lang I get to see old schoolmates/classmates. Nakakatuwa    Sinasamahan nila ako Tour around the city, dinner ganyan! It's fun to be alone sometimes.

Okay isolo ang Japan. I've only been to tokyo and very friendly yung city. Not sure about sa provinces though. Although pagbalik ko ng Japan, i'll try Osaka.

True! Japan is such a peaceful country that you can wander the streets at 3 a.m. and not breathe a single worry in the world. In my case, I can speak and read Japanese, so it was never a problem even in the provinces (Kansai region).

I really want to do this. Di pa ko tapos mag-ipon ng lakas ng loob. Haha. Though in most of my travels with family or friends, part na talaga yung may sarili akong lakad. Na-survive ko naman yung mga moments na mali yung nasakyang bus (Singapore), nakapag-shopping, sightseeing, and napagtanungan ng time (Korea), and taxi by myself at 1am (Malaysia) 😱 Hopefully, soon magawa ko ito pag wala talaga akong mayayang mag-travel. 😊

kung mahilig ka sa adventure pwede ka mag canyoneering sa south(alegria/badia area), chasing waterfalls, swim with the butanding in Oslob, or sardine swim in moalboal(pescador island). then going back to the city for chill out...

^hmmm, parang di ko yata kaya..hahahaha! iniisip ko kung meron ba kong makuha na tour package. kaso usually kasi gusto nila yung grupo talaga. sana meron yung pwede ako hehe.

nakakatuwa naman basahin yung mga post dito. im actually planning to have my solo trip sa ilocos, naga, bicol and davao. sana mangyari siya next year pero gusto ko muna bumili ng magandang cam. actually, this year, nagtravel ako sa hongkong, bali, and japan. pero wala man lang ako magandang camera na nagamit. sayang, hehe pero ok naman yung pictures sa iphone.

Going to Cebu on feb. Ready nako for the 2nd solo trip, cebu uli pero bantayan naman.

Pinagiisipan ko din kung mag solo beach trip din muna ko before cebu uli. Bahala na. Beach kasi magisa ka lang magsswim swim wala bantay gamit. Hehe

^ Pag nag beach ako alone, literal na sarili ko lang ang dala ko kaya wala nang picture picture sa dagat unless may driver/tour guide ako with me hehe.
