Pumunta ako ng 1st week of May. Sa umaga mainit pero sa hapon maulan, maginaw pa rin. Mainit lang naman yung sikat ng araw pero yung hangin malamig.

November ata yung bonfire festival nila dun kaso sobrang daming tao. Nov-Feb if I'm not mistaken yung pinakamalamig na months.

im planning to do solo trip BKK-Vietnam-Cambodia this December for 9 days. It will be my first solo trip if ever.

^yes, yon talaga ang disadvantage ng solo trip sis pero masaya rin kahit papano kasi free ka kung san mo gustong pumunta, wala kang ibang iintindihin

I did a 2 month backpacking stint in Indochina, solo.

Bangkok - Chiang Mai - Pai - Chiang Mai - Chiang Kong - (Laos) Luang Prabang - Hanoi - Saigon - Phnom Penh - Siem Reap then Back to BKK.

It was so much fun. I came home a better person.

Kaya yan sis! Research lang there are cheap accommodation and tours. I'll be going solo next week to Bacolod , Dumaguete and Siquijor and almost all my accommodations ang pinakamahal is P350 lang, I can even go as low as P125.00.

Kaya no need to worry kung magiging mahal basta research lang.

gusto ko nalang mag-solo travel palagi. mejo nakakainis kapag nasisira ang iti at nasasayang ang pera kapag may mga last minute na di sasama!

Travelling solo is something Ive always wanted to do. Sounds so liberating!

Anyone has any tips? I was thinking of doing a short week backpacking trip to Singapore.

^sis, achievable i solo trip ang SG. Very efficient transportation system, a lot speaks English, lahat may signs which way to go.

I've known our department head who is already in her early 50s who goes backpacking by herself in other countries.  She has even gone to Beijing on her own which for me, would be very difficult and kind of scary since I don't speak the language.  And Chinese people seem to be mad in the regular conversations. 

I've never gone solo outside of this country because I think it would be really hard for me... unless the place is already familiar.

Research prior to your trip. As in extensive research. haha When I went to SG, I even had the Phil Embassy number with me. Lol
