wow, thats so cool sis... HCMC ka ba sis or Hanoi, im planning to go to Vietnam din by october pero di pa napa finalize eh, hingi ako tips sa iyo huh, thanks in advance :-)

naku ako din sis,planning to go to vietnam and cambodia by oct.,just like you wala pa rin confirmation with everything,except sa pangarap ko ang magsolo travel dito.
keep intouch ha,malay mo,magkita tayo atleast pwede tayo magmeet,ang hirap lang kase pag mag isa ka,hindi ka masyadong makadiskarte sa pictures .

naku sis, yan talaga problema sa picture taking na yan, ako last january sa davao, bumili talaga ako tripod hahaha. kung gusto mo sabay pa tayo sis in case na solo ka talaga, ako i have a friend naman pero mas marami mas ok, if u dont mind :-)

I travelled alone when i need to use my US Visa...luckily  got mine 10yrs multiple. Kaso after 3 yrs ko pa nagamit. So in short na hold ako sa immigration asking bakit tagal kung gamitin nun visa ko. So super explain ako about family problem issues....BULLY yung mexicano lalaki hangang i told him I rather go backmto the Philippines rather than change my statement coz he wants me sabihin ko na mag tnt ako. BWISET na yun...sabi ko sa sarili ko palagi lang kasi sila natatalo sa boxing ni Manny Pacquiao kaya pinagtrip pan ako. Pero nun lady immig na kausap ko wala pa 5mins ako kinausap pina alis na ako.

Sabi pinsan ko buti daw matapang ako to prove them na mali sila madami nga daw na A to A kasi nga sa pananakot ng mga immig.

So ako naman keber ba di makita US bwiset na yun pag naalala ko. Frequent traveller ako kaya gusto ko isampal sa kanya tatak ng visa mga napuntahan ko. Di maiwasan talaga racial discrimanation.
Sa inis ko nilibot ko lahat ng friends ko and relatives ko dun...been into 10 diff states. Kaya ubos biyaya ako pag uwi ko namulubi ako sa plane fare na binabayadana ko dun.
Malakas lang loob ko kasi i do have credit cards...sabi ko kakaiba experience ko sa trip ko na yun nag start sa bully na immig na mexican then mga pinoy na asking and wandering how i get a us visa and asking kung mag tnt ako. Crab mentality talaga. Pero me mga pinoy din naman mababait. Di ako nanmesmerize sa ganda ng US, except for New York yun lang...the rest overrated. Advice ko lang when travelling alone Be SMART and always proud that we are Filipinos. (Keber sa racial discrimination...cuz we afford to travel like they do)

first solo trip ko was in Vietnam (HCM) last December right after my birthday  though nag-join ako ng group tour sa cu chi tunnel and mekong river. nakakatuwa lang kasi yung mga kasama ko sa tours mostly Europeans (some are in pairs, some are solo din) ako lang ang Asian! it was soooo much fun and  nakaka-proud din esp when they ask you if solo ka lang, why and they say "wow, you're brave" 
also, you get to meet people na passionate din about travelling and curious din where you came from.

i remember on my cu chi tunnel tour, seatmate ko sa bus is an italian guy who ask a lot of questions about Philippines (not just places, but yung way of life-- pati holidays and work attitude, etc.) and then he asked me if i have plans going to Europe. he  even gave me suggestions where to go, what trains to take, etc.

on my last day, nag-walking tour ako sa nearby spots lang (Saigon Opera House, City Hall, Notre Dame, Reunification Palace, etc).

basta sobrang fun, enriching ang liberating mag-solo travel kahit once in your life. after nun, parang feeling mo ang independent mo & kaya mo ng magawa lahat

Finally, makapagsolo trip na din ako. Sa Boracay ako this June, birthday treat ko sa sarili ko.

I am still thinking of doing solo trips sa mga beach / islands. Masyadong mahal if you are going to rent the entire boat. Unless, you are doing solo travel sa byahe lang talaga, then joining others/ new found people pag dating sa destination.

^ entwife, nag solo trip ako sa Davao last January, enjoyed much and hindi naman magastos kahit nag beach bum ako. kasi to go to Talikud Island and Kaputian beach you dont need to charter a boat, schedule boat lang na tig 80pesos then voila, beach na. i really would like to go back sa Talicud Island kasi may part sya na kasing fine ng Boracay yong sand :-)

Pupunta ako ng Davao sa August.

 Kaso sabit lang ako sa parents ko and mga kasama nila kasi aattend sila ng convention.

^ balik ako don sa September, kasi punta ako ng Tinuy An falls and Enchanted river, mag bus lang me from Davao then last day ko mag side trip ulit ako sa Talicud Island, adik sa dagat hehe.

Mas maganda ba ang Talicud kesa sa Samal?

di ko pa napuntahan Samal sis, pero dadaan din ako don sa September, originally kasi Samal ang gusto kung puntahan kaso lang parang mas feel ko yong walang tao, thats why i decided to go to Talicud instead Samal, and nagustuhan ko talaga sya :-)

^ 3950/person 4n accommodation with UGR tour and Honda Bay sis, di na ako nagpa arrange ng city tour, mdali lang naman yong libutin im sure. wala airfare sis sa price :-)

Been wanting to do solo travel but still need muster enough courage to do it all alone...start muna ko boracay since am familiar to this place then we'll see kung hanggang saan ako dadalhin ng itchy feet ko...
