yes sis i tried cleaning my graco crib din, ginaya ko yun binabad sa bath tub only i did it sa inflatable swimming pool after mag swim ng mga bata. nagkastain din yun mattress board, buti di nag warp. pero super linis na yun crib mismo.

wag mo na ulitin sis, just wipe it with a damp cloth matatanggal din yun mga dark stains. ang important ay hindi nag warp.

^ we have 2 strollers, both gift. hindi nagagamit, i prefer to wear my baby esp sa malls. Isa sa nabili namin na parang sayang is rocker, halos 3x lang ata nagamit kasi malikot na siya ayaw ko na ilagay dun.
^ re sa lampin, enfant gamit namin. super soft. parang kahit saan naman sa 2 sis eventually lalambot din yan.

^^we only have bird's eye, okay naman. Feeling ko parehas lang mga lampin, especially we don't use it as lampin technically, pamunas lang lahat hehe. Mas makapal bird's eye kesa sa gauze.

Hello mga sis question lang po.

Do i really need to buy those avent or expensive feeding bottles?? Alam ko worth it naman but when i went around the baby section at SM i saw bottles na mura lang din like yung mga 4oz for newborn.

Siguro kung pasok nako sa work will buy pigeon bottles pero 2 pieces lang.

^If you are planning to breastfeed by direct latch then no need na siguro. But I still recommend Avent or any wide neck bottle. Nipple confused kasi si baby nung simula (We were using Dr. Brown's) but when I shifted to Avent, it helped me transition from bottle to breast.

Hi mommies! Ask ko lang kung gano katagal nagagamit ni baby ang new born clothes. I'm thinking if we should still buy new born sizes or the next size na...mas maliit ba ang NB size kesa sa 0-3?

^ 0-3 na bilin mo, hinde din naman  aabot ng 3 months maliit na din agad. wala ata ako nabiling NB size, meron pala nun? sa SM dept store lang ako bumili ng mga pambahay na damit  ni baby all 0-3, mag 2 months pa lang siya but yung 3-6 months na yung iba niyang damit.

@trumpetclive, bumili ka sis ng 0-3 na 1 dozen lang mabilis kasi lumaki si baby, wag ka na sumobra doon and usually naman after 2-3 days lalabhan agad ang damit ni baby. Alam ko newborn size na ang 0-3 pero meron pala mas maliit doon ang size is called premie para un sa mga premature babies mas maliit ang size nya compared to 0-3, nakita ko lang kasi sa st patrick na clothes.

^i am a mom of a 1 year old. di ba tiesides ang sinusuot pag newborn? one size lang yun pag tiesides . daily naglalaba ang yaya ng baby ko.

suggestion lang for clothing:

1. tiesides - bili ka lang ng 6 pieces na sleeveless tiesides,
                                               6 pieces short sleeves and
                                               3 pieces lang na long sleeves (kung sakaling malamig).

2. pajamas- ang mga pajamas na nabibiling kapartner ng tiesides, one size lang din. free size siya. at magagamit pa ng baby mo kahit 1 year old na. speaking from experience, kasi yung mga white pajamas ng baby ko na kapartner ng tiesides, nagagamit pa namin.

3. 1 dozen mittens, 1 dozen booties

4. 3 pieces baby socks for going out

5. going out clothing/onesies/clothes other than tiesides - 3 pieces 0-3, then 6 pieces na pang 3-6 months. 

6. 2 pieces hooded footies.

wag muna bumili ng maraming going out clothing kasi:

1. marami nagbibigay.
2. mas makakabili ka ng size na tama sa kanya kung hihintayin mo muna siya mapanganak. may baby kasi na malaki,meron din katamtaman lang.  meron naman petite.

sa ngayon, 13 mos na ang baby ko, pero i buy mga 18mos and 24 mos na. though medyo malaki pa sa kanya yung pang 24 mos, depende rin kasi sa mismong style ng clothes. 18 mos ng Carter's tama lang sa kanya. gusto ko pa bumili ng clothes pero nagho hold back ako kasi di naman nasusuot talaga ng madalas.

1. Alin ba ang mas ok na mittens at booties? Yung de-tali o yung banded? for me, no need for branded newborn tiesides/layette. Divisoria ok na. though, i do not have the patience and courage to brave the traffic, so i ordered mine from Fluffy Bear facebook seller. Divisioria supplier sila. cheap mittens and booties delivered to your doorstep.

2. Yung frogsuit ba ok ipantulog?

mainit yun. depende sa klima kung saan ka nakatira at panahon. mainit sa bansa natin usually. i gave birth to my baby during a hot summer month and i actually did not buy a frogsuit. may nagregalo lang ng isa at ginamit ko lang nung tag ulan. actually, ok na kahit isa lang. pero pantulog, i do not know kung gaano kalamig or kainit sa kwarto nyo where the baby will sleep. we swaddled our baby for only about 1 week lang yata. but we never made her sleep in a frogsuit. i bought 2 swaddle suits but she never used them.

2.  How about yung onesies na sleveless and short sleeves (plain white lang), ok ba bumili pang 3-6 months na size? ok din yun.siguro mga 6 pieces max.

actually, when i was pregnant, my aunt gave me used white tiesides of her grandson. that is what i used for my baby. alternate with onesies. actually, when my baby was a newborn, i preferred dressing her up in cute onesies than tiesides.

Other tips: For lampin, buy Enfant's lampin. they sell them in different colors, not only white. they have orange, pink, violet, blue,yellow and green.

para color-code ang pangpunas mo. for the white, pangpunas lang ng butt/pangpunas during diaper change. colored ones, pangpunas ng bibig, panglagay sa likod.

-- okay lang naman sis kaso ang magiging problem mo dyan is by the time na marunong na mag roll over si baby (3-4 months) napakahirap na bihisan at hassle at may tali tali. Also pag marunong na sila maghila ng tali. Kaya mas better if onesies na lang pag medyo malaki na si baby.

2. What about bonnets? Kailangan ba to?

-- for me sis it's safe to have a few, siguro max of 3 pcs. Gumamit lang kami ng bonnet during the first week.

3. Gano kadaming new born diaper nagagamit ni baby sa isang araw?

-- depende sa output ni baby mo. Siguro on average nasa 1 nappy every 3-4 hours, so 6-8 pcs in a day. To be safe, sabihin na nating 10 pcs kasama na accidental poops.

4. Yung baby wipes, gano kadami nagagamit non?

-- for newborns, mas better if cotton balls na lang gamitin mo sis na soaked sa water. Ganun gamit ko dati. Bukod sa mas mura, less chemicals din unlike wet wipes. We switched to cloth wipes nung medyo hindi na ganun kasensitive si baby.

agree dito. 7.9 lbs ang baby ko. mga 1 or 2 weeks lang nag tie sides. tapos onesies na 3-6 mos agad pinasuot ko.
