Just bought acana lamb and apple, sana magustuhan ng baby ko. I always like to change his food para di sya ma bored.

^gumanda katawan ng puppy namin since we shifted to Acana. We call him a potato now. Same portion din ang bigay namin sa kanya. I think he also gets full right away? Di niya nauubos in one sitting.  He snacks on it and goes back to finish it later on.

^ Yung shih ko naman ay matakaw. Everyone thought na he's a year older na pero 5 months pa lang sya dahil ang laki daw. Ang inalala ko lang is pano kung allergy sYa sa acana lamb and apple but so far naman okay sya. Usual food nya is Royal Canin at saka boiled kalabasa, kamote at patatas.

Like ko yung effect ng Acana. Mabigat sya pero hinde fluffy. Lean sya. And yun nga, i don't have to feed him as much. He used to eat mga 60g a day lang. Wala kasi fillers masyado so supposedly, he gets the nutrition from the main ingredients instead na fillers.

yung furbaby ko, 10 mos na siya. tapos lately napansin ko di niya nauubos yung food niya, samantalang malakas yun kumain. eukanuba lamb and rice naman ang binigay sa kanya ng vet. kawawa naman.

^Check mo muna, sis, if wala naman medical issues baka nagsasawa lang sa food.
Matamlay ba sya or normal lang? May fever ba? Constipated/loose bowel? Mahina uminom?

Kung hindi naman, pwede den humina kumain dahil sa weather. Pag mainit masyado ang panahon, may mga bumababa ang appetite.

Feeding my furbaby Happy Meal Raw Dog Food for a month na. It's a mixture of ground beef, chicken, and pork meats na may halong crushed bones for calcium daw. Php95/kg sa kinukuhaan ko, a kilo lasts for about 10 days.

Gumanda ang katawan niya, hindi na siya ganun ka-overweight and lumambot din ang fur niya. Less ear discharge din and no more bad breath. The best thing na napansin ko eh 'yung poop niya, super solid and odor-free. Maliit na rin kumpara sa pag kumakain siya ng dog food or table food.

I still give him papaya slices, peanut butter, banana, and cooked table food as treats though. Pero super konti lang.

Our pet doesn't have much gusto for Acana so we brought him back to Royal Canin for Shih Tzu's and he's eating better now. Bakit kaya?  His body became nicer with Acana though. Sayang

Has anyone tried or seen Grizzly Salmon Oil All-Natural Dog Food Supplement in Pump-Bottle Dispenser? I heard it's an appetizer as well.

@mommyxthree: I have the 64oz bottle. It's a great supplement. My dogs like it, probably because of the strong fishy smell. I keep mine in the fridge to prevent it getting rancid. I dispense about one pump for each dog. I have two 15-pound Shih Tzu.

Nag hunger strike ang mga fur babies ko (Belgian Malinois and Poodle) nung di ko na pinabalik ang yaya nila. hehe. Sobrang payat nila ngayon, kapag dog food lang ayaw kainin. Kay these past few days hinaluan ko ng liver + vitality+ rice. Then nagtrim ako ng basil plants ko hinalo ko sa liver, ayun ubos na ubos. kakatuwa! Pero payat pa rin sila.

Ooh! Please tell me where you got it! I wanna get one for our shih tzu too. How are their coats and skin?

@mommyxthree: I actually ordered it from Amazon last year. If you're ordering, though, maybe get the smaller bottle. I got mine around September and the expiration date was January 2017. It hasn't smelled bad, though, so I still keep using it. I'm only halfway through the bottle since I only use about 2 pumps per day (one pump per dog).

I got it with the Grizzly Liquid Joint Aid as well, since my dogs are old. I'd say both oils work very well. There's a noticeable improvement in their coats and skin from the salmon oil, and the glucosamine in the Joint Aid oil has helped prevent arthritis. Here's how they look now. http://bit.ly/2svfdvy

^ Awww.. they're adorable!  Thank you for sharing a pic of them .  What do you call their haircut? I love it!  Going back to Grizzly, too bad it's not available here    Maybe I can ask someone to get it for me in the States.  I'll keep in mind that I should get Max that Grizzly joint aid when the time comes.

^Thanks! Not sure about the cut, though. I think the hair is about 2 inches long, so definitely longer than a puppy cut.

Perhaps you could ask Bow & Wow on their Facebook page if they carry the Grizzly brand. I haven't checked myself, so I can't say if they do. Definitely cheaper if you get it from Amazon, though.
