i read somewhere na nabungal dogs nila dahil nilalagyan ng tubig ang dogfood. dapat yata talagang dry para ma-exercise ang jaw and gums.pang linis na din ng teeth nila

okay yung vitality.. dati yung chow namin naka beef pro puppy. kahit naligo siya, mabilis siya bumaho. pero nung nagswitch kami to vitality. hindi na ganun.. minsan pag nagsasawa sa food, haluan lang ng cesar or ng pedigree puppy ok na yun

hello everyone! It's my first time to post here. I just worry about my pug puppy, 4 months na sya. Dati, firm naman yung stool nya. But two weeks ago nag-start na soft. May shape naman sya kaso soft. Napansin ko lang nung nagpalit kami ng dog food, hindi ko kasi matandaan yung dati nyang kinakain nung binili ko sya. He's on beef pro puppy right now. Ano pwedeng food para tumigas stool nya? thanks

me nabasa ako na China has created a fake Orijen.  So just check lang mga sis.  Saw it sa DogFoodAdvisor.

@Serena, hindi rin hypoallergenic ang Acana kasi kunwari lamb, marami rin dogs allergic sa lamb. Although okay sila na grain free kasi.

Talaga may fake na Orijen na? Nakakainis naman pati dogfood may fake na. Kahit nga yung mga treats daw na galing china beware.

^start with a novel protein (yung hindi usually kinakain ng dog mo) like fish and grain-free. You could try Acana Pacifica or Orijen Six Fish pero meron nga warning ngayon sa Acana/Orijen na fake.

Naasar nga ako when I read about the fake Orijen. Grabe naman mga taong gumagawa non.
I am feeding Acana pero they're from the same company. Hayyyy.

Pet Express just had a lot of stocks delivered to them, I saw Go! Naturals Venison. I hope they still have it by the time Charlie's food runs out. Interesting flavor.

Has anyone here tried Eagle Pro? I'm switching my 3 1/2 month puppy to Eagle Pro from Vitality. I just bought a repacked 1 kg. Try ko lang. Mukhang okay naman kasi ingredients. Any feedback?

Di ko pa na try, sis, though I've seen it around sa mga dog food sellers in FB. Gusto ko sana i-try yan before kaso wala lang ako makitang seller na malapit. Where do you buy yours? Curious ako to try for my dog.

anyone tried Science Diet ? . Im using Vitality for almost a year na so far okay sa mga dogs ko. gusto ko sana haluan ng Science Diet , Acana or Orijen.

This article has tips on how to choose a good dog food brands. Apparently, ang popular brands lang sa atin na pumasa ay Acana and Orijen.

With regards to raw diet, common issue ang fear of salmonella infection but don't worry, ibang-iba ang digestive system ng mga dogs kesa satin. Sa atin masama at malansa ang raw meat but with dogs ibang usapan. Dogs are still carnivores (despite our domestication, hindi nagbago ang digestive system nila, it is still the same with wild canines like wolves, foxes, coyotes). Therefore they are built to handle raw meat, yung saliva nila has lysozome it is an enzyme that can kill bacteria, at ang gut nila is highly acidic with a ph level of 1-2, hindi kaya ng bacteria mabuhay sa tiyan nila. Their intestine is also short so mabilis lang ang pagdaloy ng raw meat sa gut nila, wala na silang chance dumami. Just make sure na human-grade ang ibibigay kasi pag hindi fresh mas mataas na ang bacterial content ng raw meat.

Sa West Ave ako bumibili. Spoiled Bratz yung name ng pet store. 1kg repacked lang yung sakin but if you want, you can buy from pet stores sa mall. May nakita ako sa pet express SM North last week. Try mo. So far, okay naman sya. Gusto ng pup ko.

welcome sis Serena! Masyado na kasi nating ginawang babies mga dogs natin kaya feeling natin masama ang raw meat sa kanila hehe. Dogs are a different specie, hindi malansa sa kanila yung malansa sa atin. It also took me a while bago ko nahanap ang mga correct articles and groups, pati digestive system nila kasali sa raw diet. Take your time to learn, mahaba-haba ang babasahin

Pie and Minabey: i was also curious about Eagle Pro, saw it at Pet Express. I tried reading about it. Mas ok parin Acana and Orijen based on the ingredients. I haven't tried it, was about to buy one palang pero after reading the reviews, i think i am sticking with Acana, Canidae and Go! Naturals.
