sana nga sis, ma-implement din nang maayos kasi gusto ko unang mabitay mga pulitiko sa pilipinas. sobra pa sa rapists ang mga yan.

unfortunately, hinde ako sigurado sa justice system sa pilipinas. pwedeng ayusin muna nila justice system natin, tsaka na ang implementation ng death penalty.

haay naku diyan talaga ang labo ng Justice natin dito sa Pinas, para bang Justi-is na lang tayo, me too din Pulitiko din ang unang unang sarap bitayin sa sobrang kakapal ng pagmumukha, nakakapang gigil yung part na saan napupunta yung mga buwis na binabayad ng mga taong nagpapakakuba sa trabaho at kitang kita natin walang tamang kinalalagyan (sorry out of topic na ata), oh well paano pa maayos kung ganyang marami pa ring pulitiko ang buwaya

Definitely pro! I remember last time sa news, there was this guy who murdered 3 women at their house. Nung nahuli siya and na-interview sa TV, ang yabang pa ng pagkakasabi, "E ano ngayon [textspeak!] nakakulong ako? Wala naman death penalty sa Pinas, libre pa pagkain at tirahan ko!" That, after slitting the throats of 3 women at their own house?!? It's high time they bring back death penalty! Criminals are no longer afraid of breaking the law!

Dapat magkaroon ng Lee Kwan Yew sa Pinas, to get rid of all the corrupt elements in the government!

I am for the death penalty... IF we can be reasonably confident that our justice system is not corrupt.

I share the same views.  Kung pwede nga lang, pag nahuli na gumawa ng krimen, as in caught in the act talaga, wala nang trial-trial at gawing immediate at public ang bestowal ng punishment.  Huwag nang patagalin sa preso.  Putol agad kung anumang body parts iyong nasasangkot sa krimen, e.g., kung nagnakaw, putol dalawang kamay; kung nang-rape, putol ang ari. Para matakot yung mga nag-iisip na gumawa ng krimen.

Mabuti pa sa Singapore sobrang higpit kapag gumawa ng crime. Diba nga pinapatay nila yung iba. Tapos yung iba naman nilalatigo.

ang idea ko dito is, yes we have no right to take someone else life, but here is my idea para magtakot yung mga kriminal

sa mga magnanakaw
putulan nang daliri (like sa ibang country) like 10 or 20 times for them to change (kung 10 times whole finger, kung 20 naman half half lang)

since hindi nga tayo pwede mag kuha ng buhay ng may buhay, patuklaw na lang sa ahas yung killer na un, after several hour ma feel niya yung near death situation niya tska inject ng anti-venum (para ma feel niya kung ano pakiramdam ng pinatay niya)

^Magandang idea sana yan kaya lang dito sa Pinas kalaban mo human rights pagdating dyan.

Agree ako na hindi talaga dapat patayin kaya mas gusto sana yung ganyan rin

tapos kapag rapist putol pagkalalake pati mga daliri. Tapos yung tipong masasaktan sila sa pag-ihi. Para marealize nila kung gaanong kasakit ang ginawa nila sa biktima. More so yung araw araw pa nilang dinadala yung emotional pain.

^ yup puedeng hindi patay, pero caning sana or putol kamay o daliri. yung something obvious para mag isip sila mabuti kung magcommit sila ng crime.

rapist - mamili nalang sya kung gusto nya death penalty or junior nya lang ang putulin.

Problema din sa gobyerno natin walang pera/space to provide for these prisoners. Kaya easy way out talaga is to just kill them para wala ka nang problema to feed them pa and provide space. Puede na naman pakawalan yung mga naputulan ng kamay, kasi they have served the penalty, at di nanga makakaulit kasi wala nang kamay para magnakaw.

Yes to death penalty. Pag mabalik to, I wish those who are guilty of the Maguindanao massacre ang pinakaunang masampulan. Nang dahil lang sa election? Cant believe the "desire to serve the people" would lead to a massacre. Hay. On the second thought, mas pabor ata sa kanila ang death penalty. Mas agree ako sa inyo sis, yung makakaranas dapat ng pain. LOL.

Yes to DEATH PENALTY.. Dahil wala ng takot mga kriminal ngayon. Maganda sana kung ma-apply dito sa atin yung sa Middle East, like putol kamay and may certain number of lashes. pero mukhang impossible yun.

lalo pa ngayon, nung nag Aquino administration biglang taas ang crime rate.

YES, if it meant decline of heinous crimes.  In my observation, criminals become courageous because we don't have strong law enforcement.  We pity those victims of these crimes and we don't like these to happen to any of our family members.  Still, there's a need to understand the pros and cons of death penalty.

Well, if death penalty will not be implemented, I hope the government could do something to improve the justice system.  And please eliminate the drug lords and syndicates...

Pro death penalty ako, para naman may katakutan yung mga taong wala ng pinagkaiba sa demonio kung makagawa ng crimes.

It's so surprising, alarming even, how many people are for the death penalty just because they think "wrongdoers" should be deprived of having a life to live.

I agree that our country's justice system is really corrupt, but it's not as easy as that. Hindi porket hindi na corrupt, pwede na ang death penalty. Wrong convictions don't just come from faulty judicial systems. This is probably an extreme case but let's say sa isang objective trial all pieces of evidence point to a person committing a crime kahit hindi naman talaga niya ginawa? That's not a corrupt process, right? But would convicting the suspect be morally right?

It's also not impossible na yung mga tunay na nakapatay dati ay piliing magbagong-buhay. Maraming ganyang cases sa mga bilibid. Do you think we should deprive them the gift of a second chance? Paano kung ikaw yon o yung taong pinakamamahal mo? Do you think you should be killed for a crime that you might or might not regret?

I've never dealt with anything like it before, but if anyone harmed me or any of my loved ones, you can bet I'd want them to suffer in ways unimaginable or be killed in very horrible ways. That's my desire, and it's just logical. Pero kahit ganon, against pa rin ako sa death penalty. I don't think killing that person would make a right, kahit buhay pa ang nakuha niya.

I'm against death penalty, and probably forever will be. I think that instead of implementing this, the government should instead elevate the quality of correctional institutions here in the country. Yung mahuhuli talaga ang tunay na kriminal at never makakatakas.
